It's probably a typo.

BTW, you are much better off weighing it, than measuring it. You'll go over if you measure.

32grams.

make sure the tablespoon is level!

I am doing 1.5 tbsp with each of my whey protein meals, it depends on what you weigh, I guess

What other fats do you use with your shake? Cause 1.5 tbsp of PB is only 12g of fat which is too low by itself.

that's it, straight from the desk of Dave himself

I get 150g of fat a day

5 eggs
4.5 tbsp of pb
3 fish oils
2 evening primrose
1 tbsp of olive oil
1/3 c of almonds.
whatever fat is in the 8 oz of steak I eat.

I weight 205 pounds, I am 6'3. So when weighing it on the scale, I should put the spoon on and then the peanut butter (32 grams) and just minus the grams of the spoon?

<shrugs> I dunno, that adds up to like 120g of fat or so, but if that's what Dave is telling you to do....

i think the steak and chicken have more than that.

I don't eat omega 3 eggs, they are too expensive, so I am not sure what the fat is in them

I usually put a small measuring cup, like a quarter cup, on the scale. Tare it, then put what ever the amount of peanut butter equals the fat you need for that meal.

16g of fat is 32g with my peanut butter.

is 41 carbs low enough to get into ketosis?

Hey Frosty, do you think that 120g of fat is low? Meaning...not enough?

I just eat what Dave told me to eat, and it's working so far!

The cardio sucks, but I am getting used to it.

About how fast should I be jogging/walking on a tredmill? I am starting off at 40 mins cardio and increasing when needed.

41 carbs should put you there. It depends on the person, but I think you are safe.
Just walk...Read Dave's Q and A and you will get the answers to probably all your questions and then some.

Oh no, definitely not. Just saying by my calculations it was low, meaning not 150g like mentioned, but I am probably incorrect.

heart rate 100-120. For me that means incline 5, speed 3.5

I have seen two versions of the 200lb man diet.

MEAL #1
5 whole Omega-3 Eggs (with 4 additional whites)

MEAL #2
SHAKE: 54g Whey Protein Isolate*** with 1.5 Tablespoon of All Natural PB

MEAL #3
“Lean Protein Meal” 7oz (cooked) chicken (or Turkey, or Tuna, or tilapia, flounder, or cod) with 1/3-cup RAW almonds, cashews or walnuts

MEAL #4
SHAKE: 54g Whey Protein Isolate with 1 ˝ tablespoons of All Natural Peanut butter (no sugar added)

MEAL #5
“Fatty Protein Meal” 7oz (cooked) Salmon, Swordfish, or 8oz RED MEAT (filet mignon, or top round cut) with a green salad (no tomatoes, carrots, or red peppers) with 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil or Macadamia nut oil and vinegar

MEAL #6
SHAKE: 54g Whey with 1 ˝ tablespoon all natural peanut butter

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
MEAL #1
5 whole eggs (make sure to buy OMEGA-3 EGGS from the supermarket. They contain virtually NO saturated fat and tons of good OMEGA-3 fats); add another 4 egg whites to this (they don?t need to be the Omega-3 ones; you can use liquid egg whites)

MEAL #2
SHAKE: 50g Whey Protein with 1 ? tablespoon of All Natural Peanut butter (no sugar)

MEAL #3
"Lean Protein Meal": 8oz chicken with 1/2-cup cashew nuts (almonds, or walnuts)

MEAL #4
SHAKE: 50g Whey Protein with 1 ? tablespoons of All Natural Peanut butter (no sugar added)

MEAL #5
"Fatty Protein Meal": 8oz Salmon, Swordfish, or RED MEAT with a green salad (no tomatoes, carrots, or red peppers) with 1 tablespoon of Olive Oil or Macadamia nut oil and vinegar

MEAL #6
SHAKE: 50g Whey with 1 ? tablespoon all natural peanut butter

The main differences in the 2 are 1.5 table spoon of peanut butter instead of 1 and, 1/3 cup of almonds instead of 1/2 cup, and 54 grams of whey isolate instead of 50 grams. Which do you prefer or recommend.
