Bobby Lashley's (1-0) opponent at the "March Bandess" Mixed Martial Arts and boxing PPV event on March 23rd will be none other than UFC Hall-of-Famer Ken Shamrock (27-13-2). The event will take place at the Pensacola Civic Center in Pensacola, Florida.

As a member of the prestigious American Top Team, Lashley has the size, speed and athleticism that lead many to compare him to UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. Lashley is sure to be a handful for the 45-year-old Shamrock, who has won only 3 of his last 11 fights.

The show is being promoted by Roy Jones Jr. and will be main evented by the boxing legend fighting Omar Sheika.

I'm totally out of the mma circle these days, are you talking about Bobby Lashley the former WWE wrestler?

Even for Shamrock at this point, Lashley shouldn't pose an insurmountable problem. Should be a sub victory for Sham. But you never know... Sometimes Sham just doesn't seem to show up where his body does.

I think this is a joke for Shamrock. I mean he went from fighting the top guys to fighting Bobby Lashley..........that sucks.

America's Top Team is no joke, Lashley was a All-American college wrestler and he will put Ken down fairly easy. Ken is a shell of his former self.

I know Lashley personally. He is real about his MMA venture. And he is one hell of a wrestler and has been training MMA with Americas Top Team viciously. He can fight. His last fight the guy had to get thirty something stitches and had a broke nose and two black eyes. Bobby is one gifted and athletic guy.

Ken needs to retire and keep his honor. I agree with the Brett Farve syndrome.

lashley was a monster in wrestling (amature not wwe) and with the att this should be a fairly easy fight for him imo. This fight will also help him because alot of pepole in the main stream know Ken so it will help with lashleys recognition

I totally agree, America's Top Team wouldn't put him up if he didn't know what he was doing. It seems like whenever a wrestler or boxer decides to enter into MMA everyone writes him off. Look at Marcus Davis and Brock Lesnar, so far they are having successful careers.
