what are your plans for 2010?

My plan is to compete in August or September. Not sure what show yet. I have figured out that. With July 31st as a (pretend) comp date my prep will start 16 weeks out on April 10th.

Right now the shows in the hat are the Maryland State, Delaware State, Europa (which I think is probably too aggressive) or the Continental (in IL). All are August and Sept.

April 10th UFE spring Bash in Toronto then onto my first offical NGA pro show in Rochester April 24th. Those girls are amazing!

Thanks GM! I started cleaning things up this week and will officially start Jan 1st.

I live in the country and we unfortunately still have dial up so it takes me forever to post up pics etc. If santa is good to me this year I may get wireless and will start a training journal.

I will definitely be following your progress again - you are a huge inspiration to me:yep:

I hope Santa takes care of ya. I'd love to follow along. The gals here inspire me to push through the hard times. I honestly wouldn't have made it without Sallyanne last year.

I find that as I get closer to competing I spend more time on the boards and even if I am not posting much I feel like I am getting the support I need to get through just by reading other journals etc. I guess it's knowing you aren't alone!

Right now I am feeling ambitious for the new year. I plan to compete in the Wisconsin State May 15 or the Grand Prix Natural May 22 then Team Universe in July. Dieting starts Jan 2. It has been a while since I have competed and watching this years nationals has really motivated me to get back in the game.

If JEremy thinks i have made the progress we want to see and my body is ready to diet May then it will be
Masters & North Americans

If we want more time and dieting would start mid june it will be North Americans & Nationals

If my right shoulder looks even with the left side (surgery) by this summer I was going to diet for the Kentucky Muscle & Car Expo in November but my training partner wants me to do an earlier show with him.

I get that too alot. I think its more concern than anything. For some reason I get very pale and my friends say I look like a vampire. I just smile and tell them this is what I want to do, this is just a part of me.

Oh I know why. This was my first show and I had to overcome a LOT of mental battles. People close to me experienced that. I think she's afraid of having to go through it again .....for herself. LOL

Am I the only one who has a hard time sticking to my diet in the summer? There is so much going on that it is torture for me to diet. I have always come in at my best in a spring or early summer show. I was really glad to see Team Universe moved to early July.

I'll have a better idea in January. I need to see if I can rehab my shoulder back to 100% after jacking it helping a friend move out of a 3rd floor apt, as well as getting back from Cabo and seeing what my work schedule will be like. We've got a number of major contracts up in the air right now and I just have no idea....

i as well liked spring shows b/c it made winter go by faster. this past year was the first time i dieted all summer and it wasnt bad. i wore all my hot summer clothes and cardio was nice with warm weather. the national/pro schedule is mostly summer so you gotta do what it offered.

i havn't been onstage since fall of 07!!!! IT IS TIME!!! I know spring but not sure what, when, where, or how yet... thankfully in my area there's alot to choose from :) I will start prep mode after the new year though and then set something in stone.

God willing, we(Nate&I) have decided I will compete at USA's and North American's.....I will be attending Jr. Nat's though, since it is so close to home...I will probably just take advantage and set up some shoots, being 6 weeks out from USA's.

So a friend is trying to talk me into doing the JR USA's this year but I would have to qualify first. Anyone know of a good show around Illinois possibly in July? I'm just not sure if I've made good enough gains this offseason. I'm having alot of trouble gaining thickness in my back.

my first year i did tons of local shows and one national show, last year i only did two national shows because i got my girls;) we shall see where the year takes me! :)
