Stay away from the "Grim Reaper Diet"

I will be sure to do that.

WTF you going to do to entertain yourself now that the PIT is gone?

The PIT is gone??

I can't remember the last time I did a pushup.

Mac

Yes, no more PIT as it was disturbing ad revenues. Lost my late night entertainment.

I do isometric pushups every night.

I have no fucking idea that suck ass big time. I sent a PM to Dave and John to see if there could be an alternative solution as the PIT got a little ugly at times and should have been better regulated, but getting rid of it entirely IMO was not a good idea.

No in numbers, I hold and contract for 8-10 seconds and release.

I think they keep you loose and also help your joints since it is bodyweight.

Push-ups tear my left shoulder up for some odd reason. Only way I can really do them is with my hands really close to my sides, which works tri's more than anything.

Really that is weird and it doesn't hurt when you do bench? You might be doing them incorrectly, maybe too wide or too shoulder driven? In other words instead of having the elbows close to the body and facing your lower torso, you flare them out and have them pointing away from the body?

Regular bench kills me too lol, that is why i do DB's pretty much all the time. When I do Pushups my hands are close to my body and elbows are naturally in line and not flared out.

Haha. I am so heavy the pushups are harder and hurt my shoulders. It is like trying to bench 225 with no warmup. So I do need to acclimate somehow. Like I told someone else. I like my own jokes.

ahh how much do you weigh? Because remember push up only use the top portion of your body weight, that is unless you do upside down push ups that will then take your whole body weight into affect.

I'm 228 now after a high of 235. I gained a lot of fat. I could do pushups easily when I weighed 190.

Does it really make a difference though? When I was 135lbs I felt no difference when I was doing push ups weighing 200lbs. Same thing happens to me with pull-ups.

Maybe because your added weight was muscle and mine was fat. The leg weight does make a difference because they are easy if I am on my knees instead of my toes. We've been on this subject a while.

Another early start for me up at 10:00 AM today.

Last night was my first missed workout, had to get my truck out of the garage and put my convertible spyder eclipse in.

What a fucking mess, the battery was dead, it had no gas plus it had a fucking flat.

Lifting that fucking truck to change the tire was no fun. I kept thinking the fucking jack was not going to hold the load, but the worst part was putting in the new tire Jesus fucking Christ that shit took me forever!

Anyway my baby, is in the garage tucked in for the remainder of the winter till next summer!!

If he's doing curls, get another bar, put it on the hooks, and start working in. If he complains, tell him its a SQUAT rack., no such thing as a curl rack. Fuck, he was probably doing them wrong, anyway.

LOL man you make things too fucking complicated just fucking do the reps!

But if you really want to know, some sets I do 15 some sets I do 20 some sets I do 25 but 15 is the lowest I will do. My first set is usually like 50 straight then I taper down and wont do less than 15 no matter what.

Break it into sets it is not that difficult. It becomes more difficult the less rest you take between sets.

Shepherds, Dobermans, Rotweillers, Pitbulls. All great dogs if they are on your side. Not if they are after you. I've only got bitten by one dog twice. Got me by surprise both times. They were the biggest black and blue marks I ever had in my life.

Mac
01-30-2010, 09:17 AM
I grew up with many Shepherds and never once was bitten. I had a mutt that we picked up off streets in a cold snow bank. Had him for 3 years until one day he sunk his teeth into my hand when hugging my wife. I then had a fear of dogs for the first time in my life.

My Rott would never bite anyone. She was everyone's friend.

The place I moved to would not allow Rott's or Pitbulls.

Shit man if my rottie Tyson was to bite you, you would have more than black and blues, you will have chunks of your meat missing, that dog did some serious damage.

This one could have too. I think it was his way of playing. He would charge you and bite you in the hip. Most of the time I would see him coming and was able to ruin his fun pushing him off. He would just walk away then. I love dogs. They can tell. I always seem to get along with them good.

Kool, the problem with dogs biting is that some don't truly know how to bite. In other words, some dogs bite whatever you throw at them, example if a dog was coming running at you and you stick your arm out they would bite your arm and probably continue biting on it without letting go. Which allows you to use your free arm to either stabbed it, hit it with a pole, bat, etc etc.

I trained my dog tyson to bite, release bite release and bite. He also knew to bite at the groin, neck, abdomen, inner thigh. if an intruder were to come into my house, he would be killed. If I commanded Tyson to bite you, you would be in serious trouble.

This dog would obey my every command.

One day I was drunk and actually being stupid, I demostrated to my friend how Tyson would bite on command whatever I told him to bite.

I put alcohol on a street bench, lit it on fire and gave my dog the command to bite and he tore into the bench, his face caught fire but he didn't care. He took pieces off the wooden bench and only stopped when I gave the command to stop.

I am hoping to train this new dog the same, but ike everything else it has to be in him

If all works out well, this will be the new addition to my house.

I love Rotties had a fucking terror at home name Tyson, best dog I ever had, was like his master never lost a fight!! He died of old age, well here is the new one. 4 months old $1500.00

Cool dog! I just got a new rottie (I have 3 dogs). He is 7 months now and is already 80 pounds. What a rack of teeth he has! It's funny how people are scared of them. My rottie is just a big baby...lol.

Late late workout last night. Went to the gym at 12:00 Midnight.

Standing Mil press 115lbs 3 sets of 12 reps
BB BOR 135lbs 3 sets 12 reps
Deadlifts 225lbs 3 sets 10 reps
Bench 135lbs 3 sets 10 reps
Squats 155lbs 3 sets 12 reps (I am a little concern here, my pelvis started hurting and I haven't felt that in a long time.)

Just got back from the gym did the squats again, fuck, this shit is really fucking getting to me, the pain is still there, not a good fucking sign. Feels like my pelvis is cracking in the middle, exactly where it got fucked up in the car accident.

I've never tried anything remotely like that ... does this kind of extremely high-rep, moderate resistance work build size?

Hmm I am not quite sure and I don't think so, I only do pushups to keep me lose and I get a good morning pump.

I would never do push-ups for size though.

I don't know and quite frankly I don't wanna know. Not sure if you are aware but several years ago I had a crush pelvis in a car accident. Took me over 2.5 years to work on getting to squat again. Most I did after the surgery was 225lbs, but then had to have surgery again on June 26 of 09. I don't ever want to go through that shit again. So I hope it is just some scar tissue or something.

John, your accident was a little under 2.5 years ago. I can't remember if it was Sept or Oct. But it was right after I joined the other place. Not as far back as you're remembering. I think it was less that 2 years ago that you got back into the gym. You've had less than two years to recover, have surgery, recover, have another surgery, recover, rehab a shoulder... which I think brings us to the present. You've done more in a much shorter period of time. But I don't blame you for trying to put even more distance between now and the accident. Seems getting the pict with you squatting for the doc who said you'd never walk again was maybe just 1.5 years ago?

Maybe you are correct, I know that for about a year or so I was in and out of reality and was at my ends wit when I was wheelchair bound. That was the worst time in my life and it still feels like a blur but I think you are absolutely correct.

LOL I wish man, this puppy has me busy all day and night.

You see I had Rotties and I know how big and powerful they grow up to be. You need to train them really, scratch that, extremely well when they are young so you don't have a giant problem in your hands later on.

So I work him day and night. He is picking up really fast. Right now I am teaching him 3 commands, walking on the leash and house breaking him so he knows what he can and can not play with not to pee of shit in the house, so far he made 3 mistakes 2 were mine 1 was my sons.

Put it down = Sit
Come
Lay

As he gets older I will train him to:

Represent = Heal
To walk by me on my left without a leash
To say

And of course a whole bunch of everyday teachings just like everything else.

Then when he is about 2 I will teach him to truly bite on command, this one I have to pay for only because I can never find anyone who is brave enough to put on the suit and allow my dog to bite them :D :D

The pups has me mad busy, need to house break him and that is taking a lot of my time, should be done pretty soon. It is crucial for him to get acclimated to my rules of the house ASAP, don't need no 180lbs Rott running a muck later down the years.
