Every day between my myself, husband and kids, we go throw away almost 2 dozen egg yokes. It seems like a big waste, is there anything that can be done with them, can I put them in the garden? wash my hair with them?
Anyone have any ideas?

Feed them to the dogs? Although my dogs got tired of them. I've heard you can condition your hair. It's still cheaper to throw them away than buy egg whites.

Wish I had a dog or knew someone who did, but I don't know how good it would be to condition my hair daily with egg yokes.

You could always freeze them if you know someone who will use them to make custard or something.

Give them to a neighbours dog and cats. Before I got any pets, I always gave my leftovers to the dog next door.

Why are you throwing them out instead of eating them?

YOLKS have a lot of nutrients that whites don't, you should eat them.

Duh...that won't work. What are you gonna do? Open a tupperware container and splash them?

Amy feeds them to our dog too... He HAS to have high cholesterol. He eats DOZENS everyday. He tells me he rather be BIG, fat, and happy... and if he lives a few less doggie years because of it, he's OK with that trade.
