Finally for the money he was looking for nobody else was wiling to pay it. Afraid of his off the field antics. Doesnt matter he is the best offensive player regular season and playoffs hands down!!!!!!!:d

Yeah, I wanted him to wear a yankees jersey this year. Oh well, maybe in a couple of years I'll get to see that. Just as long as he isn't wearing a BoSox uniform then its cool.

He wanted 4 years for a 100 million that's why he opted out of his Red Sox contract ended up making 45 million over 2 years not much more than the Red Sox contract was going to pay him. He's a great player and an unbelievable hitter, but he quit on his team last year inexcusable as great as he is I wouldn't want him on my team. Plus he's 37 no telling how he's going to hit from here on in.
