Ok, was just having fun with this . But I figured since we have all the Masters, including Baldiewonkobi.... that I'm Vanderkin.. Not going to get too pedestrian, and can't seem to write as well as Baldie, (who can, this side of Draper?). So here's Saturday's effort straight up, no mixer, no ice. -------------------------------------------------Back - .................................................. ..................................... //1. Cable Rows- 90, 150, 220, 280, stack+ 55 - 355 x 6! - up 10 lbs with much better form! ------------------------- 2. Hammer DY rows - 7 pl + 10 ea side (650 total- 325 ea arm!)x 7 + 2 FR ea side!-up 10 lbs a side 20 overall! 3. . Rack Deadlifts -from lower knee) (w/up140 x 1, 230, 320, 410 x1- all raw, 500 x 1, 590 x 1, 680 x1, 770 x 1, 790 x1), 820 x 1 1/2 ! - up 20 lbs for 1 less rep! 4. BB Shrugs 640x 7! - up 40 lbs and1 rep! 5. CHINS BW - 250+ 45 x 8+ 3 neg+ up 45 lbs for only a couple less reps+ did negs! 6 .Stiff legged Dead 320 x 8- down to mid/lower shin, slow- just to strenthen lower back, and hit hams indirectly a bit -------------------------------------------- Cc CALVES -------------------------------7. Seated Calf Raise - break- in (w/u 1, 2, 3 p ea side x1) 4 pl ea side ( 8 total) x 2 RP, drop 1 pl, x 2 RP... -------------------------------BICEPS --------------------.----------------------------------------- 8. BB curls- break- w/u 140, 230 x 5. Cheat curls- 250 x 4! 9. Alt DB curls 120's x 4. ------------- BW 250 lb before workout, kinda tired, had worked back to back.thurs/fri, not enough sleep. Was actuially feeling ill before I went to gym, Great workout though!- strong- 5 PRs, intense, brutal, focused!

Nope. Looks nice on my notepad. Here's it in a nutshell. BW 250 lb before workout, kinda tired, had worked back to back shifts thurs/fri, not enough sleep. Was actuially feeling ill before I went to gym, Great workout though!- strong- 5 PRs (out of 8 working sets), intense, brutal, focused!

(from lower knee) (w/up140 x 1, 230, 320, 410 x1- all raw, 500 x 1, 590 x 1, 680 x1, 770 x 1, 790 x1), 820 x 1 1/2 ! - up 20 lbs for 1 less rep!

BB Shrugs
640x 7! - up 40 lbs and1 rep!

CHINS BW
250+ 45 x 8+ 3 neg+ up 45 lbs for only a couple less reps+ did negs!

Stiff legged Dead
320 x 8- down to mid/lower shin, slow- just to strenthen lower back, and hit hams indirectly a bit

CALVES

I'm not sure I understood that, but it sounded cool! I need quads baby, not leaving that on the table. Got some good thickness going, and some swirling cuts in mid and upper thigh that I've never seen on anyone before- weird. Anyway....

No shit! Hate that part. Dips are the worst, dragging 100 lb plates halfway accross the gym to dip with, then 45's and 75 lb dumbells to hold down the opposite ends of the (unsecured) dip station (250 lbs bw + 200 to 290 lbs of plates can cause severe destabilzation of the dip station, don't not try this at home!). Legs' I just unload the squat rack when I'm done and load up the leg press.. Sucks unloading it though, and I'm working legs unilaterally..

Just will list highlights and observations, comments etc RX is too problematic to deal with esp when I cut down fats and carbs, lol. 6 months to go!

Sorry HDG, but I gotta call Bullshit on the arm work. You're gonna have to video the Alt DB's with 120's. I have 20+ arms and weigh 295 at 6'-4" and curls are one of my specialties. I can't curl over 100's, and I've seen Lou Ferrigno do seated Alt's with 100's for 6...and his arms were 22". I also doubt the validity of the 230Lb barbell curls.

I'm not trying to be an ass or make an enemy, but I've seen you in person, and you're a thick bber, especially your legs, but your arms are not the size that merits your numbers. Just trying to keep it real brother! I will gladly apologize and eat my words publically if you'll video the sets and put it up here.

Guiness levels? Took me over 1/2 hour to realize you weren't talking about the beer. Got 300 yesterday on the dips, wanted that one badly.i,, first one was shallow, cause I was a bit nervous, lol, 3rd rep was the best..then 3 negs. I had so much weght hanging I felt like a weight tree...

I tan on my days off - most of the time - Fri, Sat , Sun
I tan all year - not as much in the summer
I don't get crazy dark ...just like the golden look

Short but sweet one earlier. Did Cable Rows 5 or 6 wamups then 1 set with 370 x5, onto already loaded Hammer DY rows 7 pl+25 each side x 6 + 2 FR ea arm. Rack deads about six wamups- singles, then 4 reps with 7 pl+ 25 each side/ 820. Took over an hour with all the warmups (and loading of plkates), no shrugs, trap will have to be happy with the deads, no biceps- doing those on Sat anyway with Baldie. Should have done chins, but ran out of time. Brutal though, 3 PRs! I need to eat more, lost a few over the weekend, probably because I didn't consume many carbs. Mostly, whey, eggs, chicken, some veggies. Etc. I need to drink more water too!

Definitely feeling that one today. Quads feel like two huge sore balloons or something over my knee. Diet today has been mostly 6 boiled eggs, turkey chilli, 5 nectarines, coffee, diet soda. (No time for whey this morning, woke up 10 min before I was supposed to be at work. Back to back shifts suck!. 20 min and I bail. Home to injured wife, grumpy old dad, two oversized puppies, Whey, animal paks and dbol, lol.

I'm a curl specialist too!----------------------------------------- -BW 248 before workout, down almost 2 lbs.. ---------------------- Tough one, trained very had though,!- 7 PR's out of 8 working sets! Was dissapoined in dips- one of my wheelhouses and key exercises, but everything else went good! Delts getting more striated, more rounded (in Draper/Mentzer twisting back and triceps shots, triceps looking better!

Not one day. Sales done well is parallel to Bodybuilding. A day at a time. Baby steps and a plan with an end game. This sale started over 5 years ago. Had to make alliances with the sub contractors I will need, build confidence with the spec writers and using departments by doing great service on other sales...etc...etc. More work is needed now to change the specs even now that they are on the street. I am writing an addendum reguest. Politics will get it accepted and odds favor me. And still no guarantee I will get the deal. I make zero salary...lose this deal and its zero pay check for me.

Feeling like I've had the wind totally knocked out of me today. The last 48 to 72 hours have been pretty devastating. Actually back two weeks, starting with my wifes car having to go into the shop two times. Then last week she gets hurt at week- shoulder seperation. Just found out that the dr (3rd one since the accident) said she's temporarily totally disabled, no work til at least Feb 8, her next appt. My dad, living with us in the faamily house, has Alzeihmers or at least dementia, is being verbally abusive, esp to my wife, and not folowing his drs orders.. Ended up calling his drs office over the weekend, the OC Sheriffs for help. We have his next appt Weds if we all make it that far... My car, which has had an oil pressure problem for over week went to the shop this morning. Looking at cam bushings (tear down, etc) 1000 minimum to possible oil pump, piston rings etc, 2000. Then last night, while having a few beers with my 22 year old daughter, her bf and my wife while watching our Vikings fumble and get cheap shotted out of the big game, while talking about when my got cancer, my baby drops a bombshell on me that she "might have a cancer..", has a lump in her breast. There's nmore but these are friggin highlights, or low lights. No gym today, had to get rental to get to work, and even if I could have, was soo not even in a mental/emotional space to even think about it.. Getting hit right in the solar plexus, right where I live....

Yeesh! It's pouring on your head! I'm so sorry. I hope each day gets better for you and your family. And I hope your daughter is just panicking over all of the breast cancer stuff out there. It is very rare for someone so young to have breast cancer. It is not unusual for young women to have benign lumps. Had one myself at 22 which freaked me out! That's when I cut almost all caffeine out of my diet.

James...Randee had multiple lumps in her breast removed over the years...all benign. Not until she was in her 60s did one show cancer. You daughter is gorgeous and a whole lotta fun. Her auora will protect her.

Thanks Bill! Very nice thing to say. FYI, I'm a very (over) protective parent when it comes to her. My son too, but he's 18, crazy, mad and is in the I don't want anything to do with you phase. She's never been like that. Cool, indepedent, yes. Plus its different with daughters, as I'm sure you dads out there now. On top of that, she came from a woman who her docs couldn't HAVE anymore kids, avoided being miscarried, and even took her sweet time and arrived 5 days late. So she's always sort of been my miracle baby. Never seriously ill. Flu, colds, that's it. My son too for the matter. Anyway, thanks! Im not feeling as freaked now. Just trying to wade through it, one step at a time.

Rack Deadlifts -from lower knee) (w/up140 x 1, 230, 320, 410 x1, 500 x 1, 590 x 1, 680 x1, 770 x 1,), 840 x 2 ! Up 20 lbs for 2 less reps. ------------------------------------------------ 4. Shrugs- break-in 610 x 6! - --------------------------------------------- 5. Bb Row- break-in 500 x 4. ----------------------------------------------- 5 PR's out of 6 working sets, and 3 were break-ins, Strong, intense, focused! Didn't weigh myself.

Got wheels?? ?, LEGS (RX Version, cut the warm up weights and reps to make this easier to read. I hope!) -------------------------------------------Started with Squats wamups up to 500 x 2- all raw) - 620 x2- had trouble with unracking and walk back, very heavy! Did 2 just to get the work in. ------------------------------------------------ 2. 45 degree leg press a couple warmups then, 8 pl +25 ea side (770)+ sled x 6 NA ea leg!- up 50 lbs ea leg ! 8 pl.+25 ea side + sled x 4 RP ea leg! - up 50 lbs ea leg!! .(very hard, the pain was unreal on these) ------------------------------------------------3. Hammer Leg Curl - couple warmups, rhen 2 pk+ 10 ea side x 5- up 10 lbs a leg, 20 overall. But 5 less reps :( ..............-------------------------------------- 4. Seated Calf Raise - one w/u, then 3 pl ea side x 17! .................................................. ................................................. ..BW 250+ before workout. Very heavy- 3 PR's out of 5 working sets, Squats were off, distracted, fatigued (from rack deads 2 days ago)0 too heavy, I don't know. Great intensity on leg press especially!

Last entry. had fun with this, put out what I was doing, but Monday begins 6 month countdown in earnest (ok it should have been this week, but this wasn't a great week at all). Rest today, cumulative stress left me pretty tired today- 3 mugs of coffee to feel halfway up to anything, and car not back til Monday now- its together, running, but still has a miss, and for all the money its going to cost (Cmon credit limit dont fail me now, or I'm f'd!), they want to give me basically a new car or engine anyway running tip top. once this nightmare is over, they said the one thing I WONT have to worry about this year - or the next is my car- outside of oil changes and brake servicing. anyway, Monday I start in high gear, start pulling out the stops week by week. not dieting yet, or cardio per se (outside of bike riding at work), still have til March in my mass phase, but no cutting short workouts due to lack of time, no skipping anything, increasing use of intensifiers. With my increased strength levels, this is going to be fucking BRUTAL! 248- 250lbs shredded onstage in PITT if it kills me, I have little to lose and everything to gain... thanks for comments everyone. Going stealth... see you in Pitt- and maybe Columbus (for fun and to see a friend about a photoshot and article for FLEX)..

Sad you're not going to post your workouts any longer. I like following along with others who are focused on gaining mass. Seems like everyone else is trying to lean out. But I understand the reasons. I hope everything worked ok with your daughter as well.
