1) This thread is being posted with permission from Palumbo.

2) Nebula Fitness is the company that made the 2,500 pound leg press in Ronnie Coleman's training DVDs and they've also made numerous additional pieces for Metro Flex and for Quads Gym South (where Ed Coan's coached and trained for most of his career.) Nebula's also a major sponsor of MHP's Kings of the Bench & Clash of the Titans (Ronnie Coleman Classic Expo.)

3) The owner contacted me because he's got a bunch of individual pieces in the warehouse, ready to be painted whatever color you want, that he's trying to blow out to make room for some of his upcoming facility orders. Here's a list of what's up for sale (these prices are what a distributor would normally pay.) If anyone's interested in anything, please either voicemail me at 1.503.221.2238 or email me at [email protected] and I'll get you lined up with the owner to get this price rate.

Nebula is the BESt equipment currently being made. That leg press is the best ever. Once you go Nebula you'll never go back.

Nebula makes great equipment, but unfortunately they are way over price(IMO). There are several companies that make very similar if not identical equipment that can be bought for less at regular retail price.

No one pays retail. Their discounted price is about the same as most quality equipment.

Unfortunately no. While looking for equipment for my gym I spoke with Nebula a few times and their prices were damn near double that of Legend Fitness and Samson. I know some people are unfamiliar with Legend Fitness but they are the company that makes equipment for the guys at Westside Barbell.

Nebula's custom competition bench is the # 1 bench on the market IMO. It's the official benchpress of MHP's Clash of the Titans & Kings of the Bench and the biggest push/pull of the contest (Ronnie Coleman Classic Expo) wins one! ($1,200 value)

The WSBB equipment is great quality but it's not 50% the price of Nebula's.

Samson's stuff isn't bad by any means, but it's rectangular steel tubes welded into the shape that works as well as it's able to work for a particular movement. If that's what you're looking for, just buy the metal and some basic gym equip plans and have a local welder put it together for ya.

Look at the photos above; Nebula's primo line products are tricked out and laser cut. You should study up on the product details more.

Agreed. That leg press is nice, good deal on it. If I still had my home gym I'd be tempted!

Gym equipment is like anything else - you get what you pay for. I'm sure you can find cheaper brands, but you're not going to find better. Nebula is the Bentley of gym equipment.

I OWNED A GYM FOR 7 YEARS.. i had nebula.. loved it.. but also have to agree that they are over priced.. almost 700 dollars for a reverse dip? come on... i purchased another reverse dip that was basically identical to nebulas for a little 300.. now i loved their leg press.. and their benches.. but again, they are over priced a bit..

over one thousand for the seated calf is rediculous. I used to train at Larry Pacifico's gym in Kettering, Ohio. He had Nebula about tweny years ago.

Nebula stuff is indeed awesome if you can afford it. My personal opinion is it's just over built and you end up paying more for the looks rather than any better performance over other brands (to a point)

A good portion of my stuff is Legend Fitness stuff and the rest has been just fabricated for me by a fabrication and welding shop that I know.

Granted though, my stuff doesn't have any chrome on it or whatever, but it is painted nice and works great. Although I own a small private gym for training athletes so it's not imperative that the equipment looks super shiny. I can see in a commercial gym where the appearance would be important enough to make you want to pay the extra $$

If performance is your only concern though Legend Fitness is awesome equipment

The best bench around has to be a Metal Militia bench, we have one at my gym, and it is the best bench I have ever been on, and I think the price isn't bad either.

how much do those springs that go to the leg press go for?? we have that leg press at my gym, but people used to put to much weight on there then slam the sled on the springs so the owner took them off and claims to not have them anymore. i wouldnt mind having my own set.

Solid f'n equipment for sure.

Thanks to Evan for getting it in.
