yesterday: had only 20 minutes to hit quads:
extensions: 3 sets x 20+
Hacks (steep machine): 1 plate x 2 x 20, 2 plates x 15, 3 plates x 15, 4 plates x 10
Free motions squat machine: one legged squats: 140 x 15 x 3
The legs were wasted and I was on the verge of yacking.

No doubting is allowed in this fucking game Ax. You will stick with it bro.

Thanks guys. Evidently the jury is still out as to whether it is fake (hgh) or if the factory changed the counterfeiting codes because the lots were old. I have contacted the factory and will hear today. I hope that everything is cool. NO, DEFINATELY NOT AXIO products! That stuff is the BOMB. I am getting twice the results on less mg's per week.

Avi was last may, two weeks out from a show. You guys are right, no doubting. My wife and I had a prayer meeting last night, we both needed to recommit ourselves. Thanks guys.

There is 'fake' gear....then there is 'outta control' gear. Same name but not the old shit. Thats out there also. Amazing quick results but with sides that will have you wanting to walk naked backwards thru a car wash. I see more of this than the fake. I sure am glad my super geezer competition are not mega tweeking. I suspect HGH at best.

I were 15 years younger I would subscribe to A labs myself.

axioma, Baldie, et al., forgive thi mini hijack, but the "15 years younger" comment struck me.

This is when you know you're getting a bit on. When you can shave 15 years off your age and still have a halfway substantial number. In 1995 I was 33.

Forty-eight this year. Baldie, pull the brake on this freight train!!!

Ulcer is acting up, woke me up three times last night, every time I move, intense pain. Don't want to depend on drugs, so changing diet.
1. eliminating coffee
2. going bland on diet, no salsa, etc.
3. taking my enzymes pre-meal, seems to help.
4. perfect meal for me now is 8oz. cod, mixed greens salad and 1.5 cups millet.

AAS: fourth week of sust/tren x 1ml x 3times week. Added A-50 and went for two weeks. A-50 tells me when it is time to get off and two weeks is all I can handle, headaches, nausea, however it did what i wanted it to do. I jacked my metabolism sky high, lost 3 lbs. of fat and it really enhanced the sust/tren. I am currently weighing 227 and losing fat daily. I will back off the icyplex this week and slow down the process. Starting to notice details and keeping the pump 24/7. I am sticking with the protocol I posted in the AAS thread with the exception of the A-50. I will hit back today with HeavyDuty's caveat "bring up the back" ringing in my ears.

What kind of ulcer do you have? I have suffered with one most of my life, got it when I was 15 during wrestling season. It comes back and rears its ugly head once in a while. Mine is a duodenal ulcer.

It is intense, to say the least. Haven't tried the cyx3 yet, will wait until closer to show. Supplementing T3 with the icyplex. I don't think you can go wrong with either, however the icyplex does seem to have some localized fat burning properties. Might not notice it right away, however, the area I inject it (love handles) the fat is getting a different consistency.

Not yohimbe, luv....yohimbine, which is the pharm grade extract and had been used for years as an ED med until Viagra arrived. It raises test levels (in men, mostly).

Rabies? ok, my thread has suffered it's first drive by hijacking...thanks freebird and heavy duty!

Clen definately caused cramps, everywhere, I tend to be a jaw clincher, so that is where it hit me.

Blood pressure is up: 153/90, resting hr is 100. I am getting those hypertensive signals, I get up after sitting awhile and the blood is pounding in my ears, dizziness, depth perception off. It is probably a combo of AAS, Clen, hypertension (taxes, family stuff and major car repair) AND the worse pollen in 50 years. I really suffer this time of year, and this year is freakin ridiculous.
1. taking break from clen
2. use a saline spray religiously
3. OTC diuretic to drop some water.
4. find a chill pill and ingest.

I have been off bp meds for awhile, as I generally don't have a problem, just the synergistic effects of EVERYTHING going down at once. I am going to the store and getting the celery seed extract asap. Dose?

Mac
04-16-2010, 08:44 AM
I take 1 75mg of extract a day, two if I am using something that might raise my BP. I have never found the extract in any retail stores. Don't waste your money on just celery seed unless you want to take a handful at a time.

Dandelion root is another that will lower BP, but I have never used it since the celery seed extract works so well.

"Blood pressure is up: 153/90, resting hr is 100. I am getting those hypertensive signals, I get up after sitting awhile and the blood is pounding in my ears, dizziness, depth perception off".

Where I was last week but RHR was 51. Right now 141/72 RHR 54. Mo betta. I was also getting that 'gonna get a nose bleed' feeling. I am pounding the water, herbal diuretics, some potassium, and orderless garlic in addition to the Celery Seed Xtract with 3nB. I believe that the orals out there today are many times more potent than the gear I took in the 80s. Thus, sides are also up there. I use to have a T shirt that said 'BURY ME BIG'. My montra today....'WHEN I GET THRU THIS I WANT TO BE STANDING".

Caution is the word of the day....

March 1st: Been awhile, I know...you guys haven't even noticed, getting ready for your Arnold debauchery!!! I have legs today, similiar situation as last week. I drove 500 miles over the weekend, moved heavy equipment of my dad's, helping Mom get house ready for sale. I feel pretty good, but will need to be mindfull of all the sitting and heavy lifting. I hope to get these things out of the way in the next week, so I can really start concentrating on Masters. Question: How do you compete against a Rodney Roller? The guy is superjacked midget! He is the returning champ, he is really a pro already, with the MD exposure and endorsements! I am a little disillusioned about the amateurs who are really pro! HAHAHA! Rodney is a good dude! We bacame friends at Masters last year and talked a lot at NAs too. Intense and smart dude! He will be there this year he told me at the Arnold. jason Marcus toled me at the NKY BBing show he is hunting for blood as well! I will be there hopefully around 212# this year with a better look overall. Was not happy with my prep last year. good luck and stay healthy! Look forward to meeting you. Masters is my Favorite show. I was thinking about some post over the weekend and I don't think you guys know how new I am to the AAS and competition aspect of this. I HAVE been a bodybuilder my whole life, however until 2008, I split my lifting with triathlon and martial arts. I probably trained more like Ninja Loco than a bodybuilder. Posted are some pictures from June 07, I was 178 lbs., ran 15+ miles a week, rode 100+ miles a week and trained American Freestyle 2x weekly. I had only done AAS one time when I was 18, so I was a 42 AAS virgin. I was reading a post where a recent Nat's winner was talking about how far he had come in 4 years, hell is only 24! and God knows how many cycles. I am currently on my 4th cycle since Mar. 08. I have only entered two shows, MN's will be my third. Not a seasoned pro guys, I just know what my body needs and I try to be well informed.

You are absolutely right. However, I am new to alot of this. I would rather make a dry run and see how my body reacts rather than wait till contest time and fall apart and panic. I knew the anadrol would jack up the BP, done it before, however didn't know the synergy with the clen/yohimbe. Throw the allergies on top of that with a dose of tax time jitters and you get volcanic. Now I know. What did I accomplish? I took advantage of the ckd priming that I did and got a tremendous burst when everything kicked in. I am holding 225 at 10% bf. I can now eat and grow into the show.

My diet? I don't count calories, only macros. Right now I am consuming 250 grams protein and 400 grams carbs with my fats coming from protein or avocado or peanut flour. As I get closer, I will continue to drop carbs GRADUALLY and raise protein.
I don't eat 5-6 times a day. I just can't make myself eat like that. I eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and fill in the gaps with protein shakes. I am eating less red meat (too hard to process it) and more tilapia and cod. My carbs consist of quinoa, millet, oats (steel cut), sweet potatoes, ezekial bread and honey and gummie bears. My veggies are squash and asparagus. This probably looks fucked up to most of you, but the proof will be on stage in Pitt.

My cardio? My wife and I take our dogs for a walk twice a week. We cover 3.5 miles of really hilly terrain. My warm-ups before my workouts ARE my cardio. Most people would be wiped out doing my warm-ups before ever getting started. I warm-up for 15-20 minutes, sweating like crazy before the first work set.

These photos are exactly ONE year after those posted above. I entered the Masters and Open Lt Heavy and placed second in both.

I posted my experiences from that show earlier in the thread. I made my plans on what to improve over the post contest pizza that night. Nothing goes as planned unless you are one of the truly lucky. The economy took a major dump on my business. The town where I owned my gym is dependent upon manufacturing and over 1000 people got laid off in three months causing a panic.
My father (my first real hero) was diagnosed with brain cancer and died two months later. I planned to take him to Xiomara's home in Honduras and go fishing, but he didn't make it. I did get to hold his hand and tell him I loved him before he lost consciousness, so that was my blessing.

I tore my biceps/brachii tendon and had a ruptured disc.

I sold the business in Feb. 09, and tried to pull my shit together for the State. My second contest, I won the Masters and placed second over all in the Open.
posted are photos three weeks out and at show. I made the mistake of cutting carbs back too much and coming in flat. I can't carb load in several hours...my body needs more time to absorb and adjust. I won't make that mistake again.

So guys, I am a rookie, however I am a warrior. I was a warrior growing up (hey, the bronx aint the only tough neighborhood on the planet), I was a warrior in the Army (disabled vet, run over by a armored personel carrier in the Mojave and loss most of my hearing in my left ear from an explosion), was a warrior having fun (totaled three vehicles and two motorcycles, the worse accident left me paralyzed for a week), was a warrior to my students (taught middle school for 5 years, in January of 02, I went to Peshawar, Pakistan and Kabul by myself on a humanitarian mission to distribute food and clothing to refugees with the help of ex-Mujahadeen. I was in Karachi when Daniel Pearl was beheaded). I AM a warrior. Why write this? I will be out for blood in Pitt. I am humble, I listen and learn from those more knowledgable, however, I am not going to Pitt for fun. This is not a vacation. This is my life, this is the sacrifice that my family has chosen to make with me. I will be there to represent myself and my family. I don't care who has a spot in MD or endorsement. They had better bring their A game.

OK, if you do everything right and workout like a maniac (which you do), eat right (which you do) and pay as much attention to your OFF cycle work as on, then 7-10lbs. per year unless you are really genetically gifted. Most of the pros seem to hit 10lbs. a year over the early phases of their careers, slowing as they hit their maximum. I went from a "walking around weight" of 178 to 225 in three years. HOWEVER, I quit the martial arts and endurance stuff. If I were to still encorporate that into my program, then I could probably carry a fighting weight of 198. I am committed to going as far as I can over the next three years.

I think you know what I am talking about here ABP. You seem like you are a warrior for your beliefs. My dad was studying to be a Jesuit before he met my Mom and went on to earn two purple hearts and silver star in Korea. My trip to Pakistan was about putting my beliefs to the test. I had been a soldier, but what would I do without a gun? I put my faith in God, that I would support my country and humanity as a civilian. When I went to Peshawar, it was considered the most dangerous place on earth according to the state department and my life expectancy was two weeks. I was there one day short of two weeks!!! The lesson that my kids learned, that sometimes you have to DO IT YOURSELF, was priceless.

I really like the energy and taste of ezekial bread. the gummy bears, or any simple sugar is what I like post workout. If I can afford it, I use Biorhythm's AfteGlow, the BEST post workout formula. I sell the stuff, but I have a budget too.

Yep, totally understand, both on the warrior thing, and the post-workout sugars. I use pop tarts.

I do think that it takes a very special person to be at all good at teaching middle school. I just ran into my son's old middle school vice principal in the gym this morning. An amazing guy, who took my son under his wing and kept him out of a lot of fights! He's definitely a warrior. He's a drag racer, too, which earned him immediate credibility with my son.

How can you eat all those carbs on a cutting contest diet !!?? Amazing ! Great story loved the read ! And fucking gummy bears ? OMG what a lucky guy, I am here starving my ass off on protein only ! 4 weeks left, guess I got too fat in the off season. Been doing Dave's Keto for 14 weeks now lost over 45 lbs, 271 down to 225, maybe some muscle too, gonna try carb cycling next time. BUT, I am getting slowly shredded, up to 3 hours of cardio per day ! Sunday had extra time so I ended up doing 4 hrs ! I am serious also about my competition just like you are I want to be my absoulte best ! Those pics you just showed looked great, the ones 3 weeks out! I am sure you will be one of the Top Contenders in Pitt, Good Luck !!! Looking forward to your pics!

Thanks Cliff. Like a said earlier, I do a version of keto MOST of the year, with carb cycling for a few weeks here and there. Most I got up to off season was 235. The down side: It will take me a few years longer to get the mass that the top guys have. The up side: I will look fresher, younger and more aestethic.
Look, I probably don't know what the hell I am doing. My body as an organism needs to be bumped, pushed and cajoled into doing what it should. I believe in SHOCKING the hell out it and then back off and evaluate. Right now I am taking advantage of the need for carbs. The juice is helping me get the most out of my protein synthesis, right? So I will use the carbs until I plateau. Believe me, I will be keto soon enough, just not right now. The proof will be on stage. If I fail, then there will be universal (and rightfully so) call of Bullshit! If I succeed (and for me, in my first national comp, a top 5 will be the holy grail), then I will have done it EXACTLY the way I said I would, OLD SCHOOL! Thank you for posting.

Absolutely! I even subscribe to Ori Hofmeklers' Warrior Diet. I follow it MOST of the year, just add a few more complex carbs than what he prescribes based on workload. I always thought I was born out of my appropriate epoch.

#1: 5:30 a.m. 50 grams Pro40 complete and 60 grams carbs from ezekial bread.
#2: 8 a.m.: 2 whole eggs + 6 whites and 100 grams carbs from steel cut oats.
#3: post workout: whole gains 60 grams prot/60 grams carbs
#4: meal: 8 oz. cod, 2 cups broccolli, 60 grams carbs-ezekial bread + omegalyze
#5: mixed green salad with 6oz. grilled chicked + roasted corn, black beans, red beans and pico de gallo.
#6: 60 grams protein + 15 raw almonds
#7: 2 whole + 8 whites + mushrooms, 60 grams ezekial bread + fiberlyze

Typical workout day. Today is cardio only, so I will consume less carbs and add fat caps.

The pain I have been having in head, neck, dizziness, etc. is not related to bp or aas use. It is a slipped disc in my neck. Z did some traction last night and stretched and I had a pop that about made me puke. I feel much better today, however I need to find someone who can do some deep tissue on my scalenes, occipitalis and traps.

Holding steady at 225 while dropping BF.
AAS: 1ml ea. of sustaplex and trinaplex M,W,F. 25mcg/100mcg of T3/T4 every morning. 6iu GH daily, split dose.
Herbals: milk thistle and celery seed extract daily.
Vitamins/other: 1000mg Vit.C, multi, Lipolyze/Somalyze (cutting back on stimulants), Kreaceps (krealklyn w/cordyceps-I swear by cordyceps, used when I ran triathlons, never stopped).

Really need to get into MY groove. Worrying too much about mass and keeping up with the monsters, can't do it. I am a bodybuilder. As long as I am strong enough to build mass that looks dense and EARNED, then who cares if I bench 400, every freakin workout. I am tearing my joints apart with that mentality. Going up on volume.

today BACK:
Chins (tough at 225) 10 x 3 (bodyweight), 21's on last set, 7 high, 7 mid, 7 low.
One arm dumbbell rows: 110 x 12 x 4
Barbell Rows: none of this hip thrust bullshit, bent over at a 90, pulling bar to chest, really squeezing scaps: 135 x 12 x 3
Unilateral pulldown: 210 x 10-8 x 3
Straight arm pulldown: (eye level to hip and squeeze lower lats): 60 x 12 x 3
supersetted with slow concentration dbl shrugs: 65 x 12 x 3
Rope crunches 20 x 3
hanging leg raises: up to right angle, legs straight 12 x 3
incline crunches w/twists 20 x 3
standing calf raises 10 x 4

supps: going to add cissus to my regimen. half coming from applied nutriceuticals osteo sport and half from post workout drink, afterglow. glucosomine and chondroiten seem to help knees, but not shoulders and elbow. cissus seemed to really cut the inflammation before, so I will try it again. Switching from Pro40 Complete protein to Isolyze through the show.

Interesting Nubret/'75 Olympia back-story (hell yes I'm threadjacking).

Weider and Arnold visited Serge a couple months before the '75 O. He weighed 220lbs...around what Arnold ended up at (222lbs). Weider was worried that he could beat Arnold in that shape and told Nubret that he couldn't come to S. Africa and compete. Nubret dropped 20lbs in a little over a month and showed up anyway. Weider looked him over, realized that Arnold could beat him and let him in. That's why it's announced that he's "a late entry". This is from Serge's own testimony.

No hijacking, understood. I really need to listen to my body. I just don't have that tendon strength to blow up big weight as my bodyfat goes down and the joints dry out. I AM growing though, body responding to the volume and carbs. the vein from my pecker to my sternum is starting to show, as are the glute striations. All I am really doing is eating SMART! Just good, clean food in proper proportions and timed appropriately for the load.

What percentage of your total daily calories come in the 4 hour evening period? 75%? No way I could total fast for the 12 hours prior and it doesn't appear necessary. I was thinking three 200 cal meals (25g carb, 25g protein) might be enough to get me to 5-6PM; maybe do protein/fat in one. Then 1,800 cals during the evening. I have a slow metabolism due to having a desk job so I'm normally around 2,500-3,000 daily.

I would say 25%. I take in the bulk of the carbs before 4p.m. Maybe 30 grams at the last big meal + lots of veggies. I will take in protein right before bed (greek yogurt w/Isolyze). If I really feel like I need something to take up some space, I will eat some sugar free jello. Why would you have a 12 hour fast? I only sleep 7-8 hours max, get up and drink some protein. On weekends I will go back to sleep for a few hours then get up and eat.

The warrior diet seems to revolve around undereating during the day and overeating at night. If you're only getting 25% of your cals in the evening that doesn't sound like the warrior diet. I guess you've adapted it more to your own lifestyle.

You are absolutely right! When I am trying to kick my metabolism up a notch, I will do the Warrior style diet, with the exception of the long fast! I just feel that Hofmekler doesn't really understand the nuances of competitive bodybuilding. A couple of weeks ago, I hit the fat burners and did the Warrior protocol and the weight came off. I wanted to slow it down, so I started the day with about 60+ grams slow release carbs and kept them trickling in with a fast carb post workout. I still had all the raw nutrients that Hofmekler advocates though.
I feel that you just have to listen to your body and be cyclic about what you do. About the time that the keto style starts kicking in, then I try to get a little rebound by doing something different. Fill out, get a little growth and back to the keto.
Overall, I am slowly dropping back on carbs until I get to about 100 a day two weeks out and hold that until my carb up. I don't know if this makes sense but I have a "macro plan" that is my blueprint and withing that framework I have some "micro plans" that I use to bump with.???
I really appreciate you reading in detail to ask a great question. Hope I didn't muddy the water?

I feel for you, bro. I was really lucky that I had a chance let him be himself and quit holding that grudge that so many men do. My dad was never able to reconcile the fact that I was an athlete, but I was an artist too. I never let anyone define me and his generation was all about being iconic. He never understood the joy I got from painting (I was in a gang that did some pretty amazing murals) and he HATED that I loved bodybuilding and defined it as athletic and artistic. You could see the veins pop in this head when I would describe wanting to look like the Farnese Hercules. It just took time and him seeing the struggles I went through to raise a family and realized that we were both men, good men. Peace.

Did my last post regarding the Warrior philosophy make any sense? I really feel doing as written is awesome for general fitness and fat loss.

It makes sense. I have a battle in my mind every day because I'm also a recreational cyclist. I spend half the year wanting to be 250lbs @ 12% and the other half wanting to be 180 lbs @ 10%. I do 100-120 miles a week when I'm in cycling mode, about half that right now. I want to do an Ironman 70.3 someday. I did AIDS/Lifecycle (http://www.aidslifecycle.org) in 2007, 585-mile bike ride from San Francisco to L.A.

My dad grew up on a farm so he never understood the eating more than you needed to satisfy hunger. I never even told my parents about my first show. My mom found out from a friend that heard my name on the local news.

Baldie

Baldie, we take shit to catch up to you! I don't really talk a great deal about supps here, don't want to seem like I have an agenda, however when the e-store gets going, I will blog to support it. I know there are a million opinions about creatine and it's many forms, however I feel that I have had the most consistent result without bloat with the patented form of krealklyn (ph buffered). The knock on it is not that it doesn't work, but that it is expensive compared to monohydrate or other forms. However, the price has come way down and you use 1/10 the amount of monohydrate form. So, I generally use, NOT to say that some of the esters are not great too! The addition of cordyceps is for VO2 max increase, (endurance) and red blood cell increase. It is a mushroom that belgian cyclists have used for 50 years. It has been a staple in the Ironman crowd (I learned about it while competing in triathlons) for about 5 years. It benefits lifters (high intensity, ballstothewalls lifting) by giving you the ability to shuttle between aerobic and anaerobic capacity continuously. The more advanced (and Baldie you ARE advanced :dunno:) lifter you are, the more you will notice the benefits.

We are twin brothers from different mothers:hugme: If you look at the pictures I posted from 07, I was a bodybuilding triathlete! Never willing to surrender the muscle to win a sprint, never willing to stop cycling 150 miles a week to grow muscle to compete! In 07 I posted some questions to RazorRipped, telling him I had been lifting for years and he replied that an ethiopian has more muscle than ME:mad: That got me fired up, I dropped the cardio and just lifted and the next year was on stage. Really hard to do both, just two different worlds.

The doc I worked with in Tempe (friend) did triathlons and I was always in awe of the training and output of all the people who did them. He would mention to people how hard dieting and training for a show was....but I would stop him and tell him I dont think its nearly as hard as doing an Ironman. Show me another competition where you keep eating AFTER everything is done (for a couple of days) and you still keep losing weight due to how hard your metabolism is firing.

Also, one of the most inspiring thing I have ever seen was about Dick and Rick Hoyt.

Ax....hope you don't think we are ganging up to hijack your thread. The thrill of competion for the disabled has always inspired me. You Ax and the others in here also inspire me to press on. My late brother in law Robert had CP. He always tried to out lift me and once accomplised his dream. We were moving him to another apartment and I could not for the life of me pull the mini fridge out of my trunk. "Here you old lady I will do it". Robert pulled the sucker out and set it on the sidewalk. I never did live that one down. My late friend and hero Kui Barillo had advanced liver cancer (Agent Orange from Viet Nam) and was deep into chemo and radiation. He wanted "just one more workout". I took him to Golds North Hollywood near Universal Studios. It was packed. We entered with Kui dragging his oxygen tanks, nose clip on. We got scowls and snarls from the asshole Hollywood crowd. (thought the Hollywood libs were warm and fuzzy). All eyes were on Kui as he repped 225 on the bench, jumped up and high 5ed me. Silence and ultimate respect went thru that place.

I love this pic....and Ax I'm sure you don't mind it on your thread....

I don't know why they are doing that, but it's to my advantage. I have seen other distributors do it to favor another product by selling something so cheap, other distribs will not sell it and then it disappears from the market.

Unfortunately they don't sell a lot of other supps that I use.

Yea, but I WILL!:yep: When they rolled out kreaceps, volume price (several cases) was $15.79 ea. So that site is selling at regular COST and making less that $2 bucks ea. Reason? Drive traffic and hope to establish return customers. Problem is, they won't be able to purchase at that price again, so once they run through stock, it will go up a minimum of $2, just to keep playing their game. However, the real kicker is that the manufacturer won't sell to them anymore or they will lose their 30% off pricing. Lots of fast and loose on the internet.
Several lines are what I call brick and morter, meaning they only sell through actual retailers for this very reason. So, I will post MSRP on the site and if you contact me directly at store, you will get the "house" price. Really legit manufacturers want their retailers to be knowledgable of product and how to keep the client happy. That is why I will support store with blog and email. MOST companies don't know anything about the different products they sell, how they interact and how to keep the client breaking through plateaus. You might pay $3 bucks more, but you are paying for the credibility and support.

Mac

You might pay $3 bucks more, but you are paying for the credibility and support.

I know this so well. The products I sell can be found on the internet much cheaper. But when it comes time for support and knowledge of the product sold, paying 10% more isn't a bad thing.

Don't know why, some times if bb.com can't set a price, then they may drop the line. I know with kreaceps and kreO2, there was a problem keeping up with demand. They ran into a problem with raw materials and got caught short...bb.com is pretty unforgiving and they can afford to be.
$21.99 is still better than the $17.. that Mac paid. That site is setting their margin at 15-20%. If you can push the volume, who wouldn't be happy getting that kind of return?

Tell me more about kreacaps... more water IN the muscle- but no spillover right? got any samples? lol

1. what I meant was the $21 was better (for the seller!) than the $17! of course, the cheaper the better for the consumer.
2. Dave believes in his product and so do I. However, I have always liked the krealkalyn. yes, more in the muscle, no "drivers", ie. ribose/dextrose, needed. Krealkalyn has typically been expensive, not any more. More is available, so less overall is needed. So yes, per gram more expensive, however you use about 1/5 of what you would normally use. The beauty of the kreaceps is the combination of the cordyceps. If dave was endurance focused (he used to be) then he would probably be more up to date on the clinical data for cordyceps. World class triathletes are much more up to speed on what works than your run of the mill gym rat. endorsements don't mean crap to most of these guys, only milliseconds and wattage. I wouldn't use cordyceps in a bulk cycle, just precontest when my workouts take on more of an endurance aspect and the vo2 capacity is crucial.
3. sometimes I use the crealkalyze and use the nitroceps (arginine, histadine, alanine and cordyceps). This is not a great pumper, so I combine it with a preworkout with additional arginine.
4. bottom line: mix your products, pay attention to active ingredients (not the proprietary blend as you don't know what you are getting) and rotate. No matter how great a product is, you will get used to it. That is why I look at great product LINES.

Diet: keeping around 300 grams protein, 350 grams carbs, fats 12 grams from caps, rest from avocado, mac/olive oil, fish.
I will lower carbs depending on the daily demand on my system, however I am getting leaner so I won't cut back before I increase cardio, which I will begin to do.

I believe the Osteo-sport has really helped the tendon issues in my arms. I was beginning to worry. I don't think it was just cutting back on the top end work sets, as I increased volume, but a combination of the two. I use the Osteo-sport during times of increased stress, since it has a good dose of cissus. When joints are a non-issue I will use Arthrolyze for a maintenance.

Getting asked when I will have my store up and running.
1. I don't know what this means, but here it is: Several vendors offer HTML data feeds that we have to see if the e-store provider can integrate or will we have to physically populate the store.
2. We are going with Volusion for the store, top name in the industry, but pricey. I have a budget, so trying to see what we can do versus just telling them to do it all.
3. Working on the blog aspect to support the store. The store app does not have the ability to integrate, so we are setting it up seperate but will hopefully appear seamless.
4. We have to set up our page, look and send that to Volusions to "skin" and then look at that. We are going slow, because after initial set-up and launch, $150 per hourly for every little bit of code. As the code is proprietary, we have to make sure we have plenty of space for HTML, for changes, etc.
5 LLC, fed tax id, merchant services...blah, blah..long story (already too long), probably a couple of weeks.

Do I understand what I just wrote...not really. I will keep everyone up to speed. Also, I have been a Species dealer for over 4 years. I don't want there to be any conflict of interest, as in using a forum to promote a store. Not appropriate, need to clear everything through Dave and Jeff.

Great workout on saturday: arms/shoulders
Sunday: walked the dogs 4 miles. Lower back is very sore from mowing and other extracurricular activities.
Monday: Really need to do more HIIT cardio. Lungs are suffering. Some of it is asthma, however I need to get control of this.
Legs: Bike: 15 minutes
Single leg extensions: 90 x 3 sets of 20
Single Leg curls: 70 x 3 sets of 20
Squats: Sumo, medium, close: 225 x 20 x 4 (super deep)
Stiff legged deads: wide: 225 x 20 x 3
Wall squats with thera ball: 50 reps
Couldn't freakin breathe.....damn. Glutes are showing striations, lots of veins. Still weighing 222. I think I am getting too lean too fast, need some fries and a shake.

Don't want anyone thinking that I just eat the hell out of carbs and lose fat. I do cycle. Today is non-training day:
7:00 a.m.: 3 whole omega eggs + 5 whites, 2 slices of ezekiel bread
9:30 a.m.: whole gains, three scoops = 36 grams protein and 23 grams carbs
10:30 a.m.: 30 minutes stationary bike with some HIIT intervals, abs, posing
followed with BCAA's
12:00: 8oz. chicken breast + 1 cup rice
3:00: 3 scoops whole gains
6:00: 10 oz lean beef + sweet potato
9:00: 1 cup greek yogurt w/1 scoop isolyze

So, today I will take it roughly 280 grams protein and 150 grams carbs. Tomorrow is back, so I will take in around 300 protein and 350 grams carbs. I feel like I am progressing so well that I will try to get another growth spurt starting next week for two weeks. See if I can just harden up at 220lbs.

I just can't deal with the public, make good business decisions and be civil if I were to go keto right now. If I were sponsored, I would probably do keto more and longer. I applaud those of you who can train, maintain positive relationships on keto this far out.

I hope that some of you don't get offended by the fact that I don't check out your thread, however I do like to see what guys and gals are doing in the gym, diet, supplements, etc. A few of the journals just seem like a running discussion between two or three people. Nothing wrong with that, kind of E-Harmony RX style! I do visit your threads, just don't always know what to say.

We watched Blind Side last night. What an awesome film, very motivational. Xiomara and I will probably adopt once our daughter is out of college. So many children falling through the cracks, so much potential lost. My mom brought our first foster child home when I was ten and over the next six years we had anywhere from one to five children at a time. All of these children were moderately to severly handicapped, so not much potential, just give them love.

Hey I am new to this diet shit what is consider low fat/high fat for someone at my weight 170lbs 13% bf?

to be honest, 13% distributed evenly is a great walking around bf%. If you were keto, then fat would constitute around 30% of your calories. If you are eating a spread of prot, carbs and fats, then probably around 10-15% from fat. If I eat fatty meat/fish, I don't add, but if I am eating egg whites/chicken, cod, then I will add avocado, fat caps, mac oil, whatever.
Let's say you have a med to high metabolism...you look pretty meso to me, so far guess. I would say that your daily caloric needs would be around 2550-2700 depending on goals. I would start you off at 50/30/20 carbs, prot, fats respectively. Over the course of time, that would change and gradually reduce carbs, raise protein and eventually get you into keto for awhile. I believe in cycling everything, having goals and looking at the entire year when planning my diet.

I haven't tried it yet, using the carnage and biorhythm's arnge krush which has citrulline in it. Even though I have all this stuff, I still have to stick to a budget...drives me crazy, like a kid looking at presents! One thing I have started on is the R.P.G. which is fast acting BCAA, EAA + glutamine with antioxident blend taken immediately post workout. I had that problem a while back I was sleeping on my side and putting too much pressure on my shoulders I had to adjust with pillows I use about 6 pillows to get it right put 2 of them under your side so it takes the pressure off your arms when you lay on them

when you lay on your back put pillows under your arms so that they are elevated slightly keeps pressure off

hope that helps

The simple increase in muscle mass can mimic Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. Pressure on the sub clavicle arteries which can cause numbness and/or pain in the arms.

Yes, and a deep ache. Usually the thumb and first two fingers go numb. On a side note, every upper body workout has been agony of late. The elbows, medial epicondylitis and the old biceps brachii tears are killing me. Taking me 30 minutes to warm-up enough to use any real weight.

I would say it's not GH, as I have had the same problem, albeit in one arm, and never taken GH.

I would think it's some impinged nerve that is getting additional pressure from muscle, injury, inflammation or possibly demyelination and neuropathy. It's possible your myelin around your nerve tissues is being affected by your diet and supplementation.

Mine went away after several weeks. It's was very annoying problem.

I don't know all the names of this or that so you get the Wal-mart version:
I have a hyrniated disc in the lower back that pulls my muscle structure that runs up the right side of my back. Causing my shoulder blades to pull back. The muscle then pulls over to the left side of my neck so i'm constantly stiff in my shoulder 24/7. I have killed message therapists that try to stretch me out. Anyways, sometimes I sleep on my side to wake up with your problem discribed. Seems the nerves in my neck near my shoulders get a little pinched do to the stress. Numbness lasts sometimes an hour or more. If I'm driving my hand goes numb. A deep message will drop the problem for 2 months. Chiropractor neck crack helps for 6 months. Hope it helps.

For what it's worth, If you look at it this way, I'm running behind the bus like Tommy Boy! Your doing great. Hang in there, The sinus' will clear in time and you'll be back to normal before you know it.

:p

Like I could hold a candle to your physique. Want to trade your 220lbs for my measly 160? I didn't think so.

Dave's buddy had some very odd shaped arms. Andros is tiny compared to you.

Sucked it up and got a decent back workout. Ran out of gas quick (which I knew I would) so I hit it hard and fast.

Wide grip chins 4 x 12-8 (hard for me at 220)
Smith rows: 225 x 10, 275 x 10, 305 x 8 w/drop
Hi Hammer Pulls: 3 plates a side x 15 x 3
Seated cable rows: 210, 230, 250 x 10
unilateral pulldown machine: 120 x 15 x 3 (held the contracted position on each one, as if I was hitting a back dbl bi shot)

Yipes...sleep upside down like a bat...no? I just hate conjestion like that. Think about the isometric crunches you are doing every time you cough. Hang tough....

That's what I will do...lift the shirt and really watch the abs work during the next fit of coughing!

Not too far off, FBM! I have broken ribs in past and my sternum, whenever I get coughing fits I feel all those injuries! Ribs NEVER heal!

Just getting the workouts in! Figure at this point, there are only so many workouts left and got to get every one within reason. I just try not to push myself to total exhaustion.
