For prevention of gyno go with a much cheaper product as it is not that strong for that. I do love Provirin though it does make me look a lot harder.

um its not stronger than arimidex. the anti estrogen side is just an added benefit....i wouldnt use it as my stand alone anti e unless I had pretty much NO ISSUES with estrogen.

in other words, i would not depend on proviron as an anti e.

This I can attest to, currently on low dose Test/Deca for dieting/recomp. I added Proviron and noticed a harder look to the muscle very fast, even though I was on AI. I am now a fan.

Won't bind to estrogen receptors but it has a stronger affinity to the aromatase enzyme. I would think it's irreversible since the only irreversible AI are also androgenic and related to DHT.

Just found this on Wiki, check out the dose on second study. I thought it was interesting,

Mesterolone is an orally applicable androgen, and DHT derivative. It is sold under the brand name Proviron, by Schering. In the late 70's and early 80's it was used with some success in controlled studies of men suffering from various forms of depression.
In one randomized, double-blind 4-week trial, 38 dysthymic men were administered 75mg daily. Itil & Colleagues reported an improvement of symptoms which included anxiety, lack of drive and desire. Next, they administered a high dose [B](450mg/day)[B] or placebo in a 6-week randomized trial of 52 men with a mean age of 40 years, suffering from dysthymia, unipolar and bipolar depression. Both the mesterolone and placebo groups improved significantly and there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups. In this series of studies mesterolone lead to a significant decrease in LH and testosterone levels. This is probably as a result of the extremely high dose used. In another, 100mg mesterolone cipionate was administered twice monthly. With regards to plasma T levels, there was no difference between the treated vs untreated group, and baseline LH levels were minimally affected.[1]
Mesterolone is a relatively weak androgen and rarely used for replacement therapies.[2]

i dont recall going to 100 but it could have happened once...lol. I have ran 75 once(for 3-4 weeks leading up) and it was good. Nothing CRAZY to report different than 50mg though.

75 was a good spot and where I would keep it now. But 50 may be perfect for you, who knows. Love the hardness it adds though.

from what I know....proviron is virtually harmless, yet very helpful. It has zero liver toxicity and can be run year round. It is my belief that there is a good chance it does not suppress you much if at all.

Thanks, I have not found anything saying it will lower hdl or raise LDL it just seems to make since that it would the way Arimidex can mess with your levels. I have a ton of it and plan to start it soon as I love it.

not good for PCT, even tho a very weak anabolic, still has anabolic and androgenic properties, and will limit recovery if taken during pct.
-Great for libido, depending on what you are taking bc of its binding affinity for SHBG, and freeing up more test like others have said.
-would never complain about looking a little harder either...
