Daves Diet and Diabetes ?

Any Diabetics ( Type I ) on here follow daves diet ? I have spoken to Colette and i know she does Protein / Fat Pre Contest...

I want to give it a go but im concerned with Hypos.I will still need to use Insulin for Protein / Fat Meals....Insulin still needs to be present for Protein and Fat to be absorbed.I might try switching from Novorapid to Humulin and give Keto a go...

I've done keto but not dave's diet specifically. Could only use humulin r or wait about 30-45 mins after eating to take humalog. I only stayed in keto for about a week. Low bgs were an issue and I was using the pump at that time. It scared me a couple of times so I stopped.

Thanks for the input.If i gave it a go i would have to probably switch from Humalog to Humulin for Protein / Fat meals.Humalog would just peak too soon before protein hits the bloodstream...
