I mentioned this in another thread. But I used to be a Coloratura Soprano, I went to a conservatory, studied Opera for about 8 years, had to quit because I was just way too over emotional (lol) and couldn't accept criticism.
But there are ways of pitching your voice so that if you've done some cycles of AAS and your voice has dropped or gotten raspy you can place your voice in such a way that that side effect is diminished. I've worked on it on myself, after I did test for the first time my voice dropped and people noticed. Now no one notices. It takes work, you have to use the techniques whenever you talk, but it's worth it.
