View Full Version : First time dieting down, thought I'd share with you guys

Hi all,

I've posted a few times on here but not that much. I just dieted down as a trial run for any shows I may do in the future and got my bodyfat tested at the bod pod manufacturer. I clocked in at 5.3% and I gotta say this has been some of the most fun I've ever had as far as physique goes. Dieting itself sucked but I got used to it after a while but man did it pay off. The day of the measurements I was depleted and flat but I was ripped. I have been loving the last 48 hours as I've gradually filled out due to carbs again and have looked better and better. I can't wait to diet down again.

Thanks everyone. I know the guys on this board, esp the natty section, know their stuff so it means a lot to me to hear positive comments. Just more motivation to improve :yep:

No dis to anyone of our posters on this board but mate.. you don't need anyone from this board telling you that you look amazing! But we do have some knowledgeable peeps floating around here. :yep:

As interesting as this info may be k-dawg, to recreate what he does or what others do will not always mirror the same results.. That look notwithstanding the obvious (hard) work put in would be largely genetic. Getting shape like that in a lot of cases is predertermined .

and here's a quad shot although they don't look like that now because I took that shot when I didn't work them out for 2 weeks so I was showing good separation.

I'm looking at the Silver and Black classic in Oakland as a first show to see if I even like the whole bodybuilding thing. I love being in shape but I don't know if I'm going to like being on stage and what not. We'll see. If I do like it, then there's a WNBF pro-card qualifier in Sacramento in the summer that I might do. A pro-card sounds awfully sexy.

I was 195ish when I started cutting down. I got down to 182 the day of the measurements. I was 189 the very next day after carbing up and drinking water and I looked so much better. I already started from a very lean beginning point but I put into practice what I've read about for dieting to lose just fat. I never actually depleted/cut water like that and also never went 2 weeks without a cheat day.

Your body is just insanely ripped with quality muscle. Can you post a little sample of your diet and training :D

You should go for the Silver and Black, you'd do well. It's only 4 weeks away.

Ya I am thinking about it. Need someone to paint me tho lol. Not about to have any guy friends I know do that. Check my blog I have a sample diet posted on there also what supps I take. I also plan on updating it daily with workout info.

just checked out your diet....cant believe you go till noon till your first solid meal and only 2 solid meals total...crazy man, but it sure as hell works

Meal 1 0830: 25g whey shake

Meal 2 1030: 42g new whey liquid protein

Meal 3 1230: Grilled chicken salad with 2 oat rolls

Meal 4 1500: 2:1 protein bar

Meal 5 1900: PWO shake 50g whey protein, 30g waxy maize starch

Meal 6 2000: Grilled chicken breast or any other lean meat really, sauteed broccoli, baked potato/oats/rice

Meal 7 2200: 25g whey shake

Meal 8 2400: 25g whey shake (only if I’m starving on a carb depleted week or if I didn’t meet my protein goals for the whole day)

The only thing I would keep in this diet is the waxy maize post training. Honestly, it is working for this guy though. Get your posing down, go on stage, have fun with it. But after that, figure out if this sport is really something you'd like to pursue and get someone to do your diet and so on. I am sure there are people on the board who would love to help you, pretty easy when you already look like this.lol.
