I am going to run a log for the N2KTS from NeedToBuildMuscle. Nathan was very generous on this package. He sent a some free goodies as well, the package was in top grade shape and the TA was 4 days! I am in Florida, you do the math!

Today was Leg day. I love this day!

Took 1 scoop of N2KTS 30 min prior to workout. In about 15 mintues, I was feeling something. It wasnt long before my face started to get hot and I was getting jacked.

By the time I loaded the bar, I couldnt keep still.

You can always try 1 hour pre w.o ---meal, then 30 min pre w/o your N2KTS to see if that helps

Try taking it 2 hours prior to lifting, I find stims work better 2-2.5 hours after your preworkout meal.

im confused by this. do you want him to wait 4 hours between the time he eats and trains? or just eat 2.5 hours before, and have the n2kts 30 mins afer the meal, thus being 2 hours before the workout.


i wouldnt do this. regardles of what you meant by it. Mike, i believe, had a better suggestion. I eat about 1hr-45 mins before training. and im sipping my pre-wo as im hitting the gym floor, polishing it off after my first exercise is done and im moving onto my second movement.

I am up to about 172 or so I believe. Going to work on maintaining weight for a while but still have the Nedd2Slin in there to help shuttle the carbs in and not store them as fat.

This was a great workout. However, there were a lot of distractions in the gym today. I walk in the gym with a great pump and focused to kill the shit. But I go to be squat rack to find photo shoots going on. Lights flashin the whole workout, weights not being put away, many different machines being used and not much respect for the paying members. After a little while, I got into my zone and tune out the whole scene. Eugeny Mishin and Eduardo Correa were the one that will ring bells to you all. I think Correa looked better today and much bigger than yesterday.

Eugeny was very polite and respectful to everyone there and was even putting his own weights away, asking others if he get a set, and even assisting others with the weights.

Like I said, after I got into my zone, I was okay with everything but it drove some of the members of the gym crazy. Maybe some of the photo shoots should be scheduled at the "slower" times of the gym.

its funny you mention this because i had a revelation on a similar level with this a few months back. It suddenly occured to me, that if i ate like i was already at my target body weight, only then will i really start to see the gains im so desperatly looking for. so i adjusted my macros. upped my protein from about 200 to 230, and increased calories overall as well. i ended up 15 pounds heavier than i had ever been, and plan on coming into this years competition with an added 10 pounds of stage weight that is more refined than any previous best. eat like your already at where you want to be is the end lesson learned.

My weights are going back up now. My focus will be on heavy movements, slow negatives, rest pause sets, static holds, extreme stretching and betting my weights or reps every workout.

Low volume, high frequency, high intensity.

Wanted to pump as much blood into the back as possible after the deadlifts.
Two plates on each side and pulled like crazy. Couldnt tell you how many reps and I dont care how many it was. It felt amazing and the pump was insane.

Every now and then there demos at the gym for supplement companies. Well today it was d*lites Emporium. This is an ice cream company. I was like "This is crap. Ice cream after a workout? Dont think so." Well after my workout I check it out,

Caramel Coffee Ice Cream sounded too good to pass up.

Just an update. I am not longer keeping a log due to trying a new approach of training. But I am clean the kitched out even time I walk into it and keeping the training intensity very high. The heaviest, strongest I ever have been. Pics will be soon, but not too soon!
