April 3rd-
I think the last time I lifted was about the first week of january. I went in the gym to fuck around at the end of march and got 245x5 on squats which was pretty disheartening. I lost 35 pounds and am back up to 172 and was at 195 before I got stopped. I'm interested in seeing how long it's going to take to get my strength back.

April 5, 2010. Weighing in at 175, so i gained 13 pounds back so far.
Chest and Tris
Bench- 3 Warmups, 185x failure aka 10 pathetic reps. thats 45 pounds down from where i was in december. but i'll get it back in time
DB fly - 45x10,9,8
Triceps Pushdown - 15,8,8
Cable French Press Machine - 8,8,8
I'm sore as a raw cock today, the 6th, and can barely reach my head. That being said I can't fuckin wait to squat tomorrow.

Starting to feel a little better. Still light but my chest was ripped to shit during my workout. Deep striations so i felt a little better about the pathetic weights

Bench Press- 195x10, 205x7
Incline DB Press- 85x8x2, 85x6 ->45x15
Fly Machine- 60x15, 70x10 ->45x5, 80x8 ->45x7
DB Overhead Ext.- 60x15, 70x12, 70x2 (wrist felt fucked up so i dropped it and finished with a 40 with slow reps)
EZ Curlbar Pushdown- 80,100,120x15
Close Grip Pushups- 11, 12
Fuckin toast after that

Damn this shits old as fuck. I think I'm gonna reopen this and use it again. I was still natural back then. I'm not gonna say what my current cycle is, nor will I ever but this was right around my birthday when I was trying to get off heroin. Then I went back on and finally got clean February 2011. So basically I went back down to 165 and have built back up from there.

Those are warmup weights now. I literally was off heroin for probably 5 days when I decided to start this. Stayed clean for a month, then ran my car into a tree.

Didn't get to hit the gym yesterday. Had to take care of some business so off to the gym in a bit. Gonna hit bench for 5x5 then go straight into back. Getting sick as fuck of offseason eating, makes me wish I was dieting again. But at an all time high of 206 currently.

Aren't those egg whites flavored? I just looked at them the other day and saw that they had salt and onion in them...I was pissed lol. Don't know where else to look...maybe grocery outlet. I'll check them out today. I run through regular eggs like a mofo too.

Try it...takes up hella room in the fridge (I crack my own as well) but in the end its cheaper and I personally think tastes better.

If your both having a hard time getting in calories why don't you take in more fats through liquid sources? I used MCT Oil for a while just to get calories in and it worked great. Just start low and add a few more in as your stomach gets use to it. Same goes with EVOO or Macadamia Nut Oil.

Lol this is me not lean bro. I'm trying to gain weight, last weighed in at 206, hoping for 207 tomorrow.. My diets all done up for me by Provo. I could always do it myself, but I cheat myself. I like to keep myself in check.

Sounds like your in good hands then. I am sure you will gain, you have only been back at it for a short time. I have only been training heavy, the right way since late 2008. Thats coming off an Oxycontin addiction as well.

I'll be competing in about 11.5 weeks from now or some shit. I weighed in at 209 this morning no food no water. Currently at 6497 cals a day, cardio just got increased to 5 days a week for 25 mins. Goal is ~188 or so.

Thanks brother. Courtesy of osta gain I've been enjoying these peptides so far and feel they've helped me a bit in just one week. Feel a little less hard from not being on halo but definitely the ghrp they sent me helps put the cals down. And slin obviously.

Right on bro, damn that is some major improvements! I just joined the team and can already tell a big difference in the short amount of time that Ive been with Provo so far. I know for sure ill be working with him off season as well after my precontest diet is over since my show is july 14th. But amazing physique you have man, im sure your gonna be peeled and kick ass when showtime arrives.

Lol. Been busy as fuck. Just under 10 weeks out weight is at 203. Prob get some pictures later when I'm at the gym. Can't really tell what I'm gonna end up weighing but I'm relatively lean already, definitely need to drop some weight though. Training is going well, still staying strong, legs are sore as fuck today :) Can barely walk

You'll do yourself more justice keeping the pictures in similar or at the very best the same conditions each day. Good times are first thing in the morning and or late at night. Basically if your taking come pictures with a pump, others sometimes with no food in you, etc... The differences can be night and day.

hes a bit taller and its a smaller show hes doing it were basically doing the show just to not skip a year of competing and get a huge growth spurt after the show. It was Juices goal this year to make it toa light heavy and i think hell be very conditioned in the upper 180s low 190s but time will tell.

From your most recent pics Juice, it looks like you're adding muscle while your losing fat keeping your bodyweight up. It appears that you'll come in as lightheavy prob mid/upper 180s. No reason to drop to middles unless you're not in stage condition at that weight.

Just let the chips fall where they may....with a competitor that doesnt have many or any shows under there belt...theres a 100 things outside of what your wieght is too learn about...for all anyone knows he will pull water snd drop 12lbs in 8 hours....i would just concentrate on whats at hand and come in at whatever you come in at...ps..keep a log of everytbing you take...eat...drink(dont drink)...etc for reference the next time around...

Yeah I agree. I competed in March as a middie and i'm 5'9 3/4's. I was the best conditioned, but got outmuscled a little. The most important thing is bring the best package Provo will steer you right no doubt. Good luck and im along for the ride.

All great advice here. Bottom line Juice just look your best whatever weightclass you end up in. Going from middleweight to lightheavies is a 22 pound difference in weight in each class so for me I need to get down to middles at Nationals but at your height lightheavies would suit you better.

Its definately a mind fuck for sure, lol. Just stick to it and it will happen. I've been stuck at 191lbs for weeks now, but my abs just came in...so I know the frustration of the scale not moving but the improvements coming in.

What's the mirror showing? If you're making visible progress and you're continuing to lean out the scale can be deceiving. You might be holding more muscle now too. I remember Provo was dealing with this a few months back when the weight wasn't coming off like he had hoped and he ended up stepping on stage much heavier than he originally planned and shredded.

yes ur correct i did deal w that problem and i feel Juice is dealing with the same thing. yes he needs to get tighter but hes getting tighter weekly were on the right track. probably wont be pushing too much more cardio on him as we have so many cals to pull from so from here on out we will be mainly doing diet adjustments and fat burners etc.

Yea I'm sending pics to Provo tomorrow and I've gotten leaner for sure. I wake up with veins all over my legs. Having more trouble seeing delt striations that I know would be there because of the oil. Other than that abs are tighter and back is tighter but I still got a fair amount to go.

Thanks the encouragement helps a lot. I just hit 200 today finally. Pics are being taken later today and hopefully I've tightened up a bit since my last shots. I mean I feel like I have but really seeing me in person is different than the pics look. Anyway still pushin hard kinda fucked my elbow up a little trying to press the 150s yesterday with no spot but hopefully they'll heal up soon

So true. I'm more focused than ever right now I'll say that much. This is my first prep with gear so there's so many different variables right now like my shoulder striations would be easily visible if they weren't sore damn near every other day

QMy infrequent check-in. So I will be in here a lot more from now on to stay focused. When we originally planned on doing this show I was in the middle of my best cycle to date and making good gains but had gotten stagnant in weight, so we got the idea to take advantage of the post show rebound instead of trying to continue to force more food down. I was at 7000 cals and it was brutal. I started at 213 and was 197 before my last refeed. That brought me back up to
199. So what I'm saying here is this was just pretty much doing a show to take advantage of the rebound and get some stage time. Now I'm not going to be the most shredded guy most likely but I don't care. Just gonna do the best I can and go back into offseason where I should easily be able to hot 220-225 now. I have become a lot more knowledgeable over the past year as what makes me grow supplement wise. Anyway I'm throwing up some just under 6 weeks out pics. I've been pumping a lot of oil and just can't wait to get back to cruise dose honestly. And I will definitely tighten up a lot the last couple weeks because I know my body and I'm holding quite a bit of water, especially in my back and arms. My abs just suck. But I still repped 315 on bench today so strength is still good. And we decided to go all out so basically cals are getting cut tomorrow, 2 seissions hiit cardio are being added, and honestly I have a fuckload of var that I'm gonna be popping like candy. Amongst other things. Pics in the following post. And if anyone says/notices I got a strange ass welt today from my gh (which is pharm shit) right on my lower abs. I think a lot of subQ injects are making my lower abdomen swell a lot too so I'm thinking about going subQ glutes for gh and shit.

Honestly I know I am because when I was natural I would have striations in my tris at this point. and my chest would be striated when I flex all the time. It seems to really only hit me in my upper body as much. And although I've run a lot of shit in the past year, I only hopped on after my last show so I have years of comparing my current look to different stages of where I was at naturally. Regardless, at this point right now I'm about 17 pounds heavier than I was less than a year ago so I'll take it.

I should be able to get pretty tight but it would take another 4-6 weeks of dieting i would think to be completely shredded, of which i truly have no desire. It's so much different it's not even comparable. Bangin shit every day sucks dick. And after I'm just gonna cruise for as long as I can on cyp. Long as my weight is going up I'm not upping the dose. I don't know what we're gonna do as far as calories yet post show. The major difference in prep is weight used to fall off me when I was natural. Like if I wanted to lose 5 pounds in a week I could. There's a lot of stubborn areas I don't know if I just got too fat or am having more trouble losing the weight, I know some of it is water because I was using mp adex which was fucking trash so I have new adex that will be here this week. Should help me drop some of the water. I'm running really low dose prop, high dose tren and moderate dose mast right now. Another difference is the amount of food I'm able to consume while continuing to get leaner. All in all it's just a different experience and next show will actually be planned so won't feel like this. Still wake up every morning and just do what I gotta do.

Pics taken last Thursday after posing for one hour and 40 mins of cardio. Definitely looked worse than I did when I started posing honestly. Think the loss o water during all that changed my look a bit. Nonetheless I'm going to keep plugging away. At this point I'm kinda wondering how I'm even gonna pay for the fees and tan for the show, shit I shouldn't have to worry about. I also dropped tren this weekend because it was making me lose myself. I don't pay for gear so it's not like I spent my money on that I just don't know what's gonna happen in the next two weeks. Hasn't been the easiest year for me financially and competing is a ~300 dollar expense. So Im waiting until the day of the show to enter but will continue to prep as if I'm for sure going to do it.

June 30. I've come to terms after speaking extensively with Provo that my and just suck balls. Everything else is as good as its gonna be for the most part.

ok good because you have to follow the number rule. Always follow your trainer despite anyone else will tell you. I don't want to throw you off. Everyone has an opinion of course on this and that as usual. He will know from prior experiences how to work with your body better than anyone.

At this point I don't think I'm gonna get under 187 who knows. After I carb up and drop water I should be around 190-192 on stage I would think. 6 more weeks of dieting (which isn't happening) id probably get fucking shredded but umm no thanks over dieting right now. And fuck cardio after this back to my standard cardio consisting only of sex.

Well after contacting my prep coach today and thinking we're a little behind and me being in the financial situation I'm currently in and being sick of dieting and not willing to run drugs for another 6 weeks after being on a pretty hard cycle for about 18 or so already I will not be competing. Back to offseason mode. 230 here I come.

Finally getting back to getting in here. Took a pretty decent break from everything except cruising on test and finally waited long enough for social services to fuck me over that I just gave up. Was gonna get on trt but just started my cycle yesterday. Gonna be pretty mild. I'm currently up to 212 in the morning and just deadlifts for the first time in quite a while and still broke 500. I should be able to get up to 600 pretty easily this offseason. So just a quick back workout yesterday and biceps, finding the brief blast and get the fuck out of the gym is working for me lately. Might have to add in volume but I've trained heavy and long breaks for so long it's completely different and I get sore as fuck

Yea I was taking 70-100mg prop eod. Since really the beginning of my prep I've been on that dose. So about 18 weeks or so of pinning fuckin prop. I would have been on enanthate but honestly I was going to get on trt but social services completely fucked me. My doctor was going to prescribe me it and I just needed insurance since my job situation right now is fucked up while I try and get a new one. And they told me I missed an appointment which they never told me about in the first place. Anyway just gonna be running test and eq. I really wanna throw in npp but will probably just go with test and eq and maybe dbol at the end.

That's literally the first time anyone has said anything good about my chest lol. I put all my emphasis over the past year into chest, slacked on legs a lot, but let's and arms will be my focus this year with secondary focus being chest probably. Think I put some decent size on my chest and I can finally go back and get my legs a lot bigger. For some reason I really need to put more effort onto one or two body parts a year, and I obviously did that with delts at one point and it shows.

For me it's like tough to find a balance. If I train chest the way I need to to make it grow then my upper body is fucked and I can't do shoulders or tris for days properly. If I deadlift heavy then I can't squat heavy. If I don't deadlift I start losing some thickness in my lower back. I popped my discs on leg press years ago so I can't go heavy on there so I really rely on supersets and compounds for legs. But really need something to get that sweep and ham drop this year. And rear delts. Always been a real weak point. I gotta lot of weak points and not a lot of strong points so we'll see what this year brings.

If you can make 60lbs feel like 100lbs then you can stimulate just the same with less stress on joints, ligaments, etc. That's why I love Mountaindog, weight has little bearing if you go to failure. Plus I know plenty of guys WAY stronger then me but I outweigh them by 40lbs. You prob know all this but I had this discussion days ago with a friend and had to rehash it and bump this thread!

It's just ingrained in my head that I must dead and squat heavy. No getting around it. But I think I'm gonna try something new this year and high rep squats like 20 reps end of workout with as heavy as I can go. But I can't deny my deadlifts. I just fucking picking up heavy ass weight for a couple reps. But when I do shit like leg press those 6 plates pers side feel like 12 used to before i fucked my discs up

Chest and shoulders followed by a cheat meal today.
As I don't completely have a grasp on meadows training I've implemented some of his principles with a little lower volume for now since I'm not used to a lot of high volume training. Today's workout went something like:
Machine flyes-4 sets of 20
flat bench (I just switched gyms and am not used to all the equipment yet otherwise I would have put a slight decline on)
135x15
185x12
225x10
275x6 chest was on fire from the flyes first.plus no spot
rear delt Db superset with incline bench press 3 sets
lageral raises 3 sets of 20 with 20s

Some guy looked at me if I wanted a spot on 275 bench and I declined but really it was just my ego saying I really don't need a spot until over 3 but I should out of safety because I'm not used to this chest already fucked up when I hit my first compound. I forgot I repped 135 for 35 after those other sets too. Pretty sore already.

Yea I know I'm lazy as fuck lol. I'm up to 215 now. Thing that sucks balls about eq is I just feel like I'm running test right now. I'll probably stick with npp and deca after this along with masteron and shit like that. Pretty boring waiting for the shit to work. Workouts ehh increase in strength because I increased my test dose but still getting sore as fuck. Implementing bcaas and Karbolyn intraworkout now which I like a lot. I always used to do intra drinks and Phil had me stop them for a while but since going back I feel so much better during my workouts now. (I always take slin before I workout so it makes a difference) on the other end I need a job and that's been eating up a lot of time. Had an interview and will be getting s call next week along with sending my resume to an old school friend this week. Hopefully something works out soon.
My last back workout I decided I'm going to be slowly increasing my weights on deadlifts. Go back first and then up. Took too long off from them. But my new gym has a glute ham raise which I'm pretty fuckin pumped to use.

Thursday trained at my home diamond with future pro Steve Silverman and Steve from here. Hit arms and calves. Need to step my game up after watching them train they make me look weak as fuck lol. Calves sucked dick I was sore until yesterday morning. So I did it again yesterday. Bicep were sore in places I've never felt before. Meadows is my new hero.

Killed legs yesterday. Nice moderate intensity workout, took it easy and went up to 365 for 6 on squats. Few other exercises but didn't wanna get too sore for legs later in the week. Off today but ready to kill chest and shoulders tomorrow :)
