WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Divas Mickie James and Katie Lea Burchill as well as Superstars Shelton Benjamin, Kung Fu Naki, Slam Master J and Jimmy Wang Yang as of today, April 22, 2010. We wish them the best in all future endeavors.

depends on TNAs direction....ever since Eric/Hogan, et al took over the Knockouts have been slowly headed to DIVA-dom.....which is a no bueno!

I could see Benjamin in TNA for sure....

Well in TNA Angelina Love is injured for a while.. and so is Daffney (she should not miss a lot of time..)

Mickie they have been after her for her weight, she wants to do other things (Just like Maria, and they fired her too) and I read Mickie was late to the bus a few times in Europe, causing everyone to wait for her and it was the last straw.

I put no stock in them giving title shots....lack of storylines will nix a star faster than anything sometimes....I hope they keep her but damn, give her some real competition!

Miss Alexis or w/e would have been a MUCH better ring name for her. They shoulda just kept it at that, Mickie James is just not a good name for a pro-wrestler. And as for her wrestling talent, it was so-so. Acting=bad. Still, she's better than most of the blonde bimbos they have who couldn't wrestle if they're life depended on it. At least in the 90s the blonde bimbos actually COULD wrestle lol

Beth is a phenomenal wrestler and a good actress. She's not going anywhere.

Shelton Benjamin I will miss a lot. His athleticism was top nothc

one thing for Mickie is that she is one of a dying breed....specifically for the women....she really worked the circuits and promotions before she got her break....no diva contest win for her! an actual worker was nice to see!

obviously can't comment on behind the scenes b/c well, I wasn't there :D

and Shelton....wasted talent....oh man, I need to find a clip....brb!

Mickie was actually a good well trained wrestler, she was orignally from ROH, and look at the track record of workers that came from there. I'll name some: CM Punk, Aj Styles, Somoa Joe, Low Ki, Chris Daniels, Bryan Danilson (Daniel Bryan), Alex Shelly...

How does he get female wrestlers? He dated Tracey Brooks and Maria, now Stacey. I do not see the attraction to him.

once again, not backstage so it's just hearsay but I've always read Benjamin's biggest drawback was his lack of at least perceived enthusiasm/work ethic....so even if he is a great athlete if you come across as less than thrilled to be there well, you know.....

he was an awesome part of MITB matches for sure....I think it was WM 21 I was watching when he jumped out of camera range and just suddenly landed on the ladder like spiderman or something....it was pretty freakin sweet....

not surprised by Jimmy....haven't seen him used too much since Shannon Moore's release....surprised it didn't come sooner....

Mike Knox never really got a nitch carved out for him....not sure if this is an issue with him or creative....

I remember a while back like a year or something when I was watching wwe which I thought had turned to shit (imo it has) and then benjamin came out, and holy fuck, I was IMPRESSED. Insanly athletic. Epic black man genetics thats for sure.

IMO, Mickie probably had a mutual agreement, because she was getting into singing.

We will see if she turns up in TNA. Katie should go to TNA, the others, don't know for sure. I don't see Shelton making it in TNA honestly, but you can never tell.

As far as the releases go some of them shouldn't have a problem finding an opening with TNA. Shelton has great potential as does Mickie James. I wish all the athletes the best as we all know what a tough industry professional wrestling is.

It seems as though decisions are being made with no longterm vision. With WWE it should surprise nobody that someone with talent was let go.

I don't know if Mickie will find work in TNA as it seems they are getting away from one of the best parts of their product.
