Anybody have blood pressure issues? I'm 25, natural, and in pretty good shape. About 200lbs at 12% do cardio about 3 days a week so I'm not obese or out of shape. I've been doing keto for about a month.

Ive been coming up at 145/79. After a little research looks like isolated systolic hypertension.

Any recommendations?

As of now I'm going to up the cardio and take some hawthorn berry and celery seed extract.

It could be a product of wrong cuff size.
If your arm is between 27-34 cm in diameter, then measurement should be performed with a large cuff 16x30 cm. A arm 35-44 cm needs a 16x36 cm cuff. Above 45 a 16x42 cm cuff is needed. (Pickering et al. Hypertension, 2005).
A too small cuff will yield a pressure too high, a cuff a bit too large will not yield a significant lower pressure reading.

The celery seed extract alone should take care of that. Sounds about what my readings were before the extract of 1 ED.

Both great comments. The proper cuff size is very important and if you have a BP problem celery seed extract is very effective. If picking up some CSE make sure it list the 3nb content on the label. This is the active ingredient in CSE that helps lower BP. If it does not list it on the label there is no way of telling how effective it might be on lowering the BP.

I agree try the CSE, increase water intake and add in EFA's if you dont have them already.

Just got mine taken the other day at the docs office,

118/76

I have been using EFA,s, Cycle Support(on and off), and actually dosed Ameal BP that day.

Go figure.

Don't forget POTASSIUM guys, really helps reduce excess sodium...

thanks for the responses guy, really appreciate it. I'm thinking the cuff size might have something to do with it. My arms are a little over 18 inches flexed so probably 16ish normally. I really had to jam my arm in the cuff haha. I picked up some hawthron berry extract and celery seed extract, I'll be sure to check out the 3nb content.

Went to the doctor just to make sure everything was good. Measured bp at 136/75 and he said that it was fine. Listened to heart and lungs and didnt hear anything off. I ordered a blood panel (lipids, thyroid, vitamins/minerals and cortisol just to double check everything.

He said the cuffs on the rx store machines are too small and usually read high.
