Competitors,
Summerfest is the world’s largest music festival; two weeks of some of the best bands in the world. We are set to compete during Summerfest at 6:00pm on a Saturday July 4th. The crowd is going to be large, there may be some prize money and I know the contest will be run well. What I need is the best of the amateur ranks to show up for this contest. Last year we made a great impact and Summerfest actually called me and told me they wanted us back. Great job guys!!! Do your best to make an impact like we did last year.
YOU NEED TO GIVE ME A VALID EMAIL ADDRESS IF POSSIBLE!!!! If you don’t have access to a computer go the library and set up a free hotmail account. When you sign up for the contest I will send more information including maps, rules, hotel information, etc. That should be enough to give you a good idea about what to expect from the contest. I believe strongman is about brute strength and being able to adapt to a variety of differing variables within an event. I do not want to be answering questions about platform height and things like that. Do your best, train hard, and the rest will not matter.
PS. I will not adjust or change the events or weights; so don’t ask.
Thank you,
Pete Konradt – Member
