Hammer. I eat whole eggs, but I do cook them in the Mac Nut oil. Works well at keeping the eggs from sticking and taste just fine.

Great taste. works better than extra virgin olive oil which tends to have a low smoke point and cook up in the pan.

Thanks for the responses! Yeah, I'll usually do a couple yokes and a ton of whites, and started using olive oil over spray cuz its healthier. The thought of using mac nut oil didn't even cross my mind until recently, but after I run out of this bottle I'll definitely give it a try

I loved MacNutOil. added so much, but the price of it on the east coast is high unless you pay for shipping and order it. Right now i am using Walnut Oil.

Been doing this for a few years now. It is the best choice of cooking oils IMO.

Thanks for the tips, I'll definitely be using it more. I used to get out a lot, rely on bodybuilding friendly places and such, but when you're eating over 7,000 calories a day, that's not really an option lol. So I've been learning to cook more things as of late

eggs are not the most appetizing or tasty dish for me so I stopped cooking them in mac oil because I didn't like the nutty flavor and the more pronounced egg flavor it gave them. if you like it than great, but personally I cook them w/ a small amount of smart balance butter and then proceed to pile on the pico de gallo. the tomato, onion and cilantro kind of counteract the eggyness and actually compliments them without having to resort to something more fattening and salty such as a couple bacon or turkey bacon strips. you can't eat that stuff every day, darn it.

I take 12 whole eggs and crack them into a pan with pam spray. I am carefull not to break any yolks unless I want to eat a few of them of course. I then cover it and let them cook for 10-12 minutes on medium. The whole egg cooks until all you have is pure white eggs with solid yolks inside. Its easy to just pop the yolks out and it the whites alone. No separating needed.

Looks like a huge white pancake when its done but much more rubbery.

This is where I get my mac nut oil. I use Now Foods brand. 16 oz is $9.20. Shipping is free with orders over $50.

Never use oils that are in plastic bottles. The best oils are usually in glass bottles. Sometimes EVOO comes in some type of metal container.

Ah cool I'll check that out. I'm still sort of learning how to cook (embarrassing!), so there isn't really a whole lot I know how to do. I'm really trying to learn though. Pretty much all I can do now is scramble egg whites. In college I used to just drink 8 whole eggs raw lol. Did my research and found out the risk of salmonella was extremely low

why?

why?

The plastic leeches(spelling) into the oil. If you look at higher quality oils they are never in plastic containers. They use plastic cause its cheaper plus less breakage in shipping.

Thanks for the heads-up. I figured as much on the risk of glass bottles breaking during shipping, but never heard of the plastic actually leeching into the oil.
