Billy,
IT was a good show, me and kev left after branch guest posed at the end of the show

Show rundown,

Bikini-looked good
Figure-dont know what to judge really, but they looked a lot better then the girls at the past 3 shows I went to in march and april

Teen Class- Lightweights, all in good shape, M buddy Doug Merriam should have taken the class hands down, idk what happend. A little light but not enough to take away his first place

Mens middle was a real tough class overall,
Light heavy was a stacked class thought the overall winner could have been in this class, was wearing purple trunks and had ripped hams and striated glute(REAL SICK) and good class
Heavy-Looked like tony fredrich took it pretty easy,
Then the SUPER HEAVY-thought the Light heavy would take it, then there was one guy who looked like a mini Jose Raymon and he def took the overall, use to be a top tier national level, went to wwe for a while and is now back and looks SICK, then another guy in the class who is on md with farah, had the biggest legs I Have ever seen, they were much bigger then branch warren, Espc since branch guest posed right after the SH class, This guy was a sure freak, no leg seperation at all, I have never quite seen something so odd looking, huge veiny but no shape.

OVerall,, great show, had people filming it in HD, Bob Chic was hilarious on the mic!!

I wasn't there this year to shoot it, sorry. I didn't feel like spending my own dime for tickets, gas, food, etc, etc, and be driving home at 1am. I was on vacation and just wanted to relax. I've been to 2 of the NPC Rochester shows and they have their pluses and there GLARING minuses to them. It pains me to see them charging people $25+ for night show tickets when if you sit more than 5 rows back, you can't see anyones legs. I pity the people who are short and have seats 15+ rows back. Why on earth a show of this caliber is STILL held in a flat-floored convention center is a mystery to me. On the plus side, the competition is usually great, there are always vendors on-hand, Bob Chic is hilarious as an emcee, and there is a great restaurant right accross the street. I'm on the fence about the bench contest too. It lasts too damn long and gets kinda boring, but the winners are pretty impressive, usually 35+reps. Maybe next year i'll ask Rockell to set aside some tickets for me, and i'll shoot 1000+ pics. Most of the other local promoters get a hold of me nice and early.

as a competitor that travelled 6hrs to compete there ,I cant say i disagree w joel on some issues for sure. Its always been a great show. Jim rockell is a great guy & treated me like a local-other than typical BB politics which is expected. But I still hold him in high regard..thats just how it is. Flat floor is a downer, but the facility is big - for spectators & competitors as well- theres plenty of room. being attached to the hotel is also huge. Dinosaur bbq across the street is a bonus :) the benchpress thing should start wayyy earlier & not be started at the actual show start time. at least as far as the competitors are concerned..it takes foreverrrrr & they tell u to be there @ 6... THEN the bench starts. we would sit around for 2 hrs for NO reason when we could be napping in the hotel or resting.. over all though..I love the show, the people & i think its great ... side note--jim R is such a good guy that i competed there 1 time...and the following year he saw me & knew me by name...that says a lot as to the kind of guy he is..
