So I have heard both opinions, that if you cook whey isolate, like into pancakes or bake homemade protein bars it denatures the protein, and i have heard it has no effect. Thought I would come to the people who know quality isolate best and get the real scoop.

Dave, Will the protein in Isolyze be degraded by heating and/or cooking it with oatmeal in the microwave?
DP: Yes...add it after you cook.
1) Is microwaving whey and PB ok, or does it alter the protein? Talking about making sludge then microwaving it into a brownie or small cake.

1. I don't recommend microwaving protein for long periods of time. Heating is not the best thing for high quality whey isolates..
