I think all the featured Rx Girls have broken the mold and demonstrated to the world that they work hard for everything... education, careers and physiques! Angelique is no exception... she looks great and is clearly an intelligent woman. Lots of luck to her!!

Thank you all so very much! I am humbled and truly honored to be a part of such a great community of hard working and dedicated people.

There is something to be said about all of us who take an interest in such an intense sport where as individual as we are on stage, it truly is the people that have supported us, guided us, and tolerated our meticulous nature that makes it all the more enjoyable and rewarding.

RX Muscle, you have truly become a fantastic supporter of all competitors & this site will forever be appreciated for all the hard work you do for the bodybuilding community.

I thank you again & look forward to seeing you at Team Universe!

Cheers!

Very interesting background and story. Just curious, coming from being a national level cheerleader and watching fitness america, has the fitness avenue ever been an option as well?

In response to your first question about fitness:

I LOVE fitness & the division is so great to watch! As a cheerleader I learned jumps, stunts, & dance. Unfortunately, I never learned the tumbling part. :( When I was younger as I mentioned in the interview, money wasn't there to go to classes. As I got older, I didn't have health insurance & I was afraid of breaking something. I have seen postings of women saying that you don't need to do tumbling to do well at fitness which could be true & is enticing. I would still need to work on bringing up my mass though to be competitive. I never rule anything out though... :)

Ah...the nails...
I do anything and everything with my nails. They allow me to do certain things that you cannot without them such as pull hot stuff out of the oven, type on the computer while keeping a flat wrist so I don't get carpal tunnel, comb conditioner through my hair in the shower, give great back scratches, & more. :) I actually start out with just short tips & then grow them out. It is an adaptation over time in which you just get used to. I am more 'handicapped' per se without my nails than I am with them by now. The only thing I can't really do is use those Touch Phones...I'm sure I could master that if I tried hard enough! Oh, and I can't play my beloved Viola. Oh well, I like them for now! :)

All the best to you!
