Would really appreciate some feedback. I'm still attempting to pose so I'm aware my posing needs some work. Especially the back poses...

I wasn't intending on doing this show because I wanted more time to prep but I realized there aren't any good Natural shows after this one locally.

This would be my first time ever competing as well.

Dude you look great. I would like to see your condition a little better and you need to work on your posing. You have enough muscle to compete in any show you want, conditioning and presentation are key. I compete in both tested and non tested shows.

Thanks, I had a friend who competes help me with posing tonight and I'm paying to go to a posing seminar this Saturday!

I'm just really hoping I can get tighter in 23 days.....

Man, I hope. I just added an extra morning cardio session. Just 30 minutes low intensity on the treadmill. I gotta get my legs in better condition..

Thoughts?

Try a week of sprints in the morning and see how your body responds.

Wow, never thought of this. I'm great at sprinting. I've always been super fast. Played college football as a Wide Reciever.

What's the reasoning for this? Something that has to do with fast twitch muscle fibers.....

Also, here are a few 3 weeks out pics I took today:

One of the poses we have to do in the OCB

I think the legs would look a little better if they weren't so pale lol

You are leaning out nicely. You know what a sprinter legs look like. I like the sprints at the end because it dosen't take long to do and I can run them with just some BCAA in me.

Thanks, I'm starting to feel a little better about my conditioning finally.

Ok, I'm going to add in sprints. You do them just a few times a week? It's pretty much HIIT cardio which I was doing once a week.

Looking good. When posing set your base first, by contracting your legs. When you were posing like in the front double bicep the lines in your legs would come and go. Practice holding them. Other wise looking good.

Yeah, I noticed that too. Man, posing is tough lol. You have so many things to concentrate on in just one single pose. I'll keep working on it though. I'm practicing every night :)

Those sprints I did killed me too. My legs are still sore.

Alright, pictures from the show!

Legs obviously still need work and better conditioning to match my upper body but I busted my a** to get them the best I could for the show. Other than that, more quad sweep, back width and thickness, and bring up the arms to match my shoulders.

Agree? Any other things noticed from the pics?

How did you place?

How did you place?

2nd in Novice class, and 3rd in my open class.

Most people I talked to, even one of the judges had me winning the Novice division. I lost to a guy that was bigger, but I was in better condition.

I saw your pics and thought you did a great job with your conditioning. You will get them next time.
