6 weeks...that's what i have left till i compete in Central Florida Strongman.
thought i would chronicle my training and life right here....

events for the competition:
press medley--220 log, 250 log, 275 axle
farmers walk--270 each hand 100' no turns
yoke/keg carry--650/270 80'
conans wheel--525
atlas stones--240,280,300,330,370 to staggered platform

been backloading carbs as my diet. been keeping my energy levels up. i have to clean up the carbs, too many poptarts.

planning to delaod next week in training. been hitting it hard for 3 weeks now. my body needs it.

hit events today. wanted something good before i start my deload tomorrow. started with log press.
140,180, 200,220 and 240...all were nice. decided to go for the big pr....260. cleaned it nicely, felt it roll up high on my clavicles, dipped ever so slightly and pressed. right arm locked before the left which felt like an eternity as i stood there. but i got it!!! hooray me!

farmers walk...did 245 for 100' with a turn at 50'. made it the whole way but my legs felt like jello. did this in 31 seconds. next time i am going with contest weight. think i will add some high rep leg presses to keep my legs under me.

yoke/keg. this was rough. i took 540 for 50' easy. the keg killed me. was too sweaty to pick up. threw on my sleeves and picked it up. by this time i was mentally done...made it about 20' with the keg.

finally conans wheel....250 for 1 revolution then 320. was easy even on the contraption my training partner devised in his evil mind.

ate decently last night....noodles and beef. took humapro and chain'd out too.

this morning i fueled up on humapro, chain'd out, coffee, and sweet potatoes.

What flavor chain'd out are you using? I just picked up a jug of blue raspberry and I love it! Appletini is still #1 though.

deloading this week....

close grip press---bar, 115, 135, 155, 185 5 reps each. 205 5 sets 5 reps.

tate press---40lbs 8 reps 6 sets

pushdowns---30lbs 20 reps 8 sets

1 arm rope extensions--- 20lbs 50 reps each arm

elliptical---20 minutes interval

i want to do movements that focus on 1 arm. yesterday showed a weakness in my left arm that needs to be fixed.

cardio today....

in the morning while waiting on laundry, swam 7 laps.

went to the gym in the afternoon...
elliptical 20 minutes on interval level 4
treadmill 40 minutes

glad thats over.

got home and grilled 2 lbs of steaks, and 3 lbs of lamb. made some rice and cucumber dill salad

This week is a deload so everything I do is at 50% of max or projected max. Legs were on the agenda today.
Started with the king..squats. 315x2 5 sets, went ATG and paused at the bottom. Romanian Deads were next. I like doing these on the Hammer Strength machine. 320x8 5 sets. Started feeling these in my lower back which made the next exercise very brutal...Leg Press. 450 50 reps total but I had to break it up in smaller parts just to get the pressure off my back. Not finished with todays torture, Single Leg Extensions finished this twisted day...45 for 70 reps each leg.


Now onto some other interesting happenings in my world.....

Primordial Performance has given me the oppurtunity to try out some products. Androhard and the Fat Loss Stack So I am on day 3 and can say these are some interesting products. The Androhard is a great test booster. Ok I have to admit the taste made me think of medicine i used to take as a kid, but what the heck this isn't about the taste. You can also mix it with a liquid, will give it a try later... Fat Loss Stack you say? Why Mr. Strongman? Well even a strongman wants to look good for the ladies. And secretly i would like to know what my abs look like under there..oops not the secret is out! the Stack consists of Green Tea, CLA, and DermaTherm, a topical fat loss product. Sadly I did not get my CLA so verdict is out on that. I like the Green Tea, beats trying to drink a gallon of it. The topical is amazing! It does make my skin red but I immediately feel warm. Oh yea it smells like raspberries....

As for the CLA, I would like to apologize, we had an inventory issue with the CLA due to a promotion that was running. Rather then make you wait for the stack, we sent it out sans-CLA, and as soon as we receive the inventory, we will have some CLA on your way.

The AndroHard being a prohormone to DHT, will provide leaning and increased fat loss, among other things. DHT also is known to prevent the conversion of androgens to estrogen. Users have reported increased endurance, recomp abilities, and sky high libido.

cardio yesterday...one hour total 20 minutes on treadmill twice and 20 minutes on elliptical


events today.... farmers walk 190 30', 260 pickup, 260 50' 2 times
keg walk 215 50' 2 times, went for a third but was so sweaty the keg slipped.
stones 220 to 60", 250 to 56", 270 to 52", 300 to 48" all back to back, then i took them down.
conans wheel 345 for 2 revolutions, nonstop!

hang cleans 135x2, 155, 185, 205

dumbbell clean and press 100 5 singles each arm. need to watch my free hand, couple times i assisted the press. 1 minute rest on these.

seated smith press 315x2 5 sets. used elbow wraps. these felt sooooo easy. i set the bench at a slight incline. got this idea from superhuman radio. allowed me to pinch my shoulder blades together. felt very stable in this position.

dumbbell side raise 20x15 8 sets adjusted my position on these and felt them deep in the side head.

walked 30 minutes on the treadmill

squat machine---facing in 450x5 6 sets
romanian deadlift on machine 270x8 5 sets all my low back could handle at this point
smith lunges 115x5 6 sets

rest between sets was maximum of a minute

I did that a lot on Sunday, especially after my triple drop set on leg press and dbl drop on squats. I fell down for a bit after the squats, which wasn't even half way through my workout.

I get some looks for sure. But I'm in my own little world, metal blaring in my ears, sweat dripping all over the place. I'm just a nasty sumbitch in there to do some fuckin work! But I'll joke around and laugh between sets if one of my buddies is in there. So one minute I'm saying "god damn mother fucking cunt" and the next minute I'm smiling and laughing. Yes, people probably do think we're nuts.

first... press the 275lb axle in the medley. i have done both logs before.
second... finish the yoke and keg carry medley. 50' each should be no problem.
third... complete the 100' farmers walk. 270 each hand is not too bad.
fourth... 1.5 times around with the conans wheel.
fifth... all 5 stones in time.

if i keep my event placings high i can guarantee myself 1st or 2nd place

did 20 minutes on the elliptical last night....i really hate cardio.....used interval setting work level was 5 and kept strides at 115 during work. surprisingly i wasn't breathing heavy till the last 3 minutes.

Thanks Steve....first one is my ultimate goal. it will be a massive PR and some self satisfaction getting the axle cleaned and pressed. i did 4 stones last week....this is my favorite event. i will own them.

haha!! durrr...not enough coffee. the pub has a dish on the menu, perfect for anyone like us. you can choose mahi, chicken or ahi tuna with 2 sides. all for 9 bucks. but the bartender is smoking hot and she has been checking me out.

zerchers 225,315 from knee height 405x5 singles from hip height
barbell rows 315x5 5 sets last set almost had me puking!
low row/rope pulldown 80x10 8 sets

i am beginning to ache everywhere. a few cramps too....think i might be chugging gatorade tomorrow.
the supplements from Primordial are showing some results. i can feel more energy and endurance from the Androhard. the green tea is nice, keeping the does at 2 per serving. i do rhink i am seeing results with the Dermatherm. judgment will be out till i finish it.

love the combo of Chain'd out and Humapro. seriously i feel great and use those to replace a meal and shakes. when i do that i use fish oil or some nuts to add fats. when's payday? i need more Humapro....

---was very happy with these. got nice and deep on 4 of the 5 singles.

single leg extensions 50x75 each leg

will be walking funny tomorrow.


all done with Humapro, back to the shakes till i get paid. lets see what happens now.

I thought about giving them a try on my next cycle, but I get such bad bloat from dbol...the things I've heard about a-bombs sound far worse than what I've experienced w/ D. Think I'll just stick w/ test/tren/npp. Worked great for me last time. I'm going to run a lower test dose this time too. I figure my body will respond great to increased calories anyway, probably not going to need 875mg/week.

this morning i was raging to get events in. had a full crew there. couple extra guys came down to train.
started with log 160, 190, 210....very easy. the yoke and keg were setup. i picked up the yoke 3 times but didn't move it. wasn't my plan today. picked up the heavy keg...250lbs. then i took it for a couple runs. first was 50' the next one was 80'. felt very nice. then came the fun...stones! i put the 250 to 60". rested and popped the 300lber to 48" then repped it 2 more times.

--by now my low back was screaming. legs were on fire with a skin stretching pump, thanks ALRI for WTF!!
smith lunges 115 did rest pause reps till i hit 50 total. had to sit down a few times to ease the tension in the back.
stairmaster---calf work---2 minutes 3 sets my god this was intense! very nice feeling in the calves.



must say i am feeling good. went to see the parents and my mom remarked about me losing weight. guess the Primordial supps are working, along with some heavy duty training and cleaned up diet. got on the scale today and i am about 239! also noticing the waist is looking tighter...really like the Dermatherm.

Honesty is good man...I've never tried any Primordial stuff, but I'm the same way about ALRI's supps. The only one that doesn't work for me so far is Comatose. Other than that, all the stuff I've tried works amazingly well. When the supp store over here finally started carrying it, I felt like I was trying to sell them on it when I went in to buy it. lol

i got ya on the supps. i am the biggest skeptic. but when i get the chance to try and see results i am hooked.

Melatonin is good...haven't used it since spring so it'd probably work well for me again. But right now I'm sleeping like a baby w/ the training and diet like it is.

anyway i have been using the cutting stack. dermatherm, androhard, green tea and cla...but i never got the cla cuz they were out.

and if you have read above i am in love with the dermatherm, yes like the gay waiters love me. i see the bottom of my obliques...:yep:

well thanks to a micromanaging fuckhead i have gone from being tired to being pissed and tired. this day could not end fast enough...6 days off will be a wonderful thing...
