Schiek's velcro doesn't have that problem. At least not in my experience. Anyway, he's going for a leather belt, and I've never seen a leather belt with velcro, so he won't have that problem :D

You NEED one or you want one?
What is the reason you think you need it?

i've been looking to buy a belt and have been researching them too.

while i don't doubt the quality of the cardillo, it still looks like a regular leather belt.
the features of the Schiek belt look very good to me...
can anyone else comment on the fit and fuction of the Schiek belts?

i have their wrist support/straps and i love them.

x5. That velcro refuses to let go.

Far as nice leather, yeah Cardillo. Get it custom, you don't want someone walking off with it!

I haven't tried their leather belts, but the velcros are really good! They give you all the support you need on the heavy lifting in squats or deads etc., but they're still pretty flexible. The velcro doesn't seem to wear out on those belts. I've had a couple (lost them both in the gym  ), but neither of them became worn out. I adjust my belt between each set, take it off, back on again, re-adjust it, take it off again ... It's a really good quality belt!

i like the fit of scheik's belt b/c of the way it contours around the hips... my old belt would dig into the top of my hips and would get a lil annoying but the fit is awesome and pretty true to the measurements on the website... also, for me it is the perfect mix of flexability and ridigity. pretty damn durable too

I love my Cardillo weight belt. I used to have a Schiek but I switched over a year ago and will never go back. The Cardillo belt is just more comfortable for my structure.
