slow cooker fall stew

this is amazing

in a crock pot:
1 can pumpkin
1 small can tomato paste
2 packs splenda
cinn
ginger
1 lb cut up chicken
1 1/2 head cabbage
1 bag carrots
2 c broc
1 acorn squash cleaned and cubed
1 lg onion

add whatever vegs you like

mix in slow cooker, set on low....

My Crock Pot is cooking this now, although I left out the cabbage, broccoli and squash and substituted red potatoes, peas and mushrooms.

House sure smells good...

I'm sure it's probably good, but I'm just not a big fan of pumkin.......unless it's a pumkin ale.

I love pumpkin...if it's a sweet dish. Never had it otherwise.

Okay, just had this for dinner...

PERFECT meal on a cold, wintry day like today.

The pumpkin adds some thickness and a bit of taste that's not overwhelming. With the additions I made (taters, peas, mushrooms) this was a hearty, filling dish.

Got enough left over for a few more dinners.

Will definitely be making this again.
