1. Axle Clean and Press for reps: Novice, Masters, LWY: 200lbs. MWY: 230lbs. HWY: 270lbs. 60 Second time limit Single clean and press for reps

2. Trap Bar Dead Lift for reps Novice, Masters, LWY: 400lbs. MWY: 450lbs. HWY: 500lbs. No Dead Lift suits No straps Belt “Ok” Wrist supports “Ok” Must wait from a “down” signal from judge before beginning next repetition Competitor must wait for “up” signal from judge before beginning next repetition. 60 second time limit Most repetitions wins event

3. Farmers Hold: (per hand) Novice, Masters, LWY: 200lbs. MWY: 250lbs. HWY: 280lbs.

4. Tire Flip: Novice, Masters, LWY: 600lbs. MWY: 750lbs. HWY: 1,000 50’ course Fastest time wins event

5. Atlas Stone over yoke bar for reps: Novice, Masters, LWY: 240lbs. MWY: 280lbs. HWY: 313lbs. 50” yoke Tacky is allowed Most loads of the stone wins event

It's official for the weigh-ins, OCTOBER 29th @ MacDaddy's on Daniels 7:30pm. We have created "The Strongman Special" for all competitors AND guests. Includes: Half slab of ribs, half smoked chicken, 2 sides, drink for $15.99. This comes out to about 3lbs of meat. EVERYONE gets that price that day only.

Official hotel is at the Hampton Inn Fort Myers airport (corner of daniels & 75), half a mile from MacDaddy's and only 5 minutes from the training box


Get those entries in, everything is coming together nicely thanks to Alex from the training box and wayne meyer providing his help and experiences from years of promoting.

Confirmed with Bob cicherillo(Master Mr. World, IFBB PRO, BSN spokesman, and all around nice guy!) that we will be there to help on the mic just like last year. Those who didn't get to hear bob's colorful commentary definitely missed out.

Plan to be there, plenty of parking will be available as well as loud rock music to fuel some pr's!

There is still time. lol... my new training may be using the camera. Camera and lens is around 8 pounds. Wish it was different, but my shoulder still cant take that much weight

Thanks for the info. Our local powerlifting gym is adding a strongman training room. Do you have any advice for grip strength? My hands are kinda small and my grip suffers.

well it was a good day yesterday.

let me tell you the gym was amazing. warehouse gym that does crossfit, strongman, and mma. easy to find and surprisingly a great venue!

friday i go down there early and weighed in. was standing in parking lot stripped down to my underwear just to make weight...231.5
after that i headed to mcdonalds for 2 cheeseburgers, 2 mcchickens, 2 mcribs, large fries, large coke, and large iced coffee. later there was a dinner for the competitors at a bbq place called MacDaddys, conveniently next to the hotel i was staying at. good food there! caught up with another competitor i have not seen in awhile, Master competitior Wayne Meyer.
saturday started off with a trip to Fort Myers beach....very cool. wish i had more time to hang around. off to the comp....what a crowd we had there. was nice to have the amount of people there watching. Bob Chicirello showed up to MC the show. good amount of competitiors...3 women, 4 masters, ton of novice, 4 lights, 4 middles...boo friday there were only 2 of us....2 heavies.
the events went quick and other than a misloaded axle for the masters things were tight.
the axle, trap bar dead, and farmers hold were inside the gym. tire flip and stones were done outside. thankfully because by that time of the day the gym got sauna-like and sweat sock smelly!
most of the classes were half to a full point separating the 1st and 2nd places. intenses and brutal....but the heavies were the attraction. ended in a complete tie. went to a tie breaking event, viking press. came down to 16 reps versus 15 reps....with 310lbs! amazing competitors, one of the guys was already missing a callous.
nothing can be said but thanks to Dave Beers, Wayne Meyer, The Training Box, Tom Mitchell and all the competitors for a great day!

Nice work at the contest, sounds like it was a really fun day.

I was planning on coming down but wasn't able to make it this year... will probably be there for the next SW Florida event though.
