May not be te best place for this but this is where I hang out. I try to keep my legs, arms and chest shaved all the time but I don't like doing it wet. Does anyone make a good electric razor that WORKS? Price is no object.

I am hairy like gorilla...winter coming...need warmth...
However, when spring breaks, I break out the electric shears. I use the same one I use on my horse....my dogs....I keep it low, don't use a razor until three weeks out from a show.
Ch,ch,ch, chia.....watch it GROW!

I do have a nice dog grooming cutter. Maybe I'll try it. I would think that someone would make something that worked much better than anything that I've seen.

Like AX, I'm a gorilla! When I shave my face in the morning by evening I need a shave again....I've gone thru so many lectric razors from cost $500 to $50 and I have settled down to a regular razor Shick Mach 5. The electric razors would ALL jam up clog up parts would break.....I should stop now you hit a nerve with me when you said letric razors....That's my 2 cents...stick with regular blade and find one that doesn't cut you up!!

OH...personal info I had lazor hair removal on my shoulders and back 2 years ago spent $900. Guaranteed to work for life. Went thru 5 or 6 sessions and it hurt like a bitch and the burnt skin smell!!! After 2 months all hair grew back even thicker!!! They told me since it didn't work I could get 6 more sessions FREE....Not goin thru that again.

My wife does hair removal in her spa. She claims it works-eventually. IMO your results may vary. Yes, it does hurt like hell.

Maybe I could suck it up and get 6 more sessions then see if it works this time!!!

She does herself in places where she doesn't like to shave(No, I won't say it) and it seems to work but there is the pain thing.

I use a Panasonic

http://www.manufacturersclearance.com/panasonic-es2262a-body-effects-wet-dry-body-trimmer-and-shaver.html?productid=panasonic-es2262a-body-effects-wet-dry-body-trimmer-and-shaver&channelid=BIZRA

you pop the clippers up, or you can use it like an electric razor. It works pretty well if you don't let things get too out of hand between trims.

I do my more intimate areas the old fashion way, but the body groomer works everywhere else pretty well.

theres a new kind of nair out...it will make you a little bumpy on the first go...after that i use one of the gillete mach 5 razors with the battery in it..i'm not real hairy but this seems to work as a good combo...

I've been wanting to try nair and the electric Mach5. I guess that's next.

This is a really ,ummm, refreshing thread....just some dudes...talking about their "Mach 5"'s and shit....lol

I will try to find some info on a cream that is supposed to loosen the follicle and make the hair finer, thus easier to cut and less dense. Former Universe Richard Baldwin used it. Still have to shave, just less of a hassle.

Going to look for a Nassau blue Mach w/white stripes....vrrrrooooomm

You woosies who dont use the blade. Geeeesh!!! Been using Gillette (more recently their Mach series) for 30 or more years. Takes less than 5 min to maintain that porn star look (no long black socks....please) head to toe. 6 min for two...when there were two of us. (warning to future girlfriends)

Things you didn't need to know.

I use a Philips Norelco Body Groom (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Philips-Norelco-Body-Groom-BG2030/10780586) when I don't want to use a blade.

I shave outside in my gazebo while smoking a cigar, Bill. My wife shaves in the house with a blade. Don't read anything into that please.

I just got tired of shaving once a week Baldie. I used a 5 blade Schick, and it still takes me 45 minutes head to toe, and that excludes my back, which I can't reach. You must not be very hairy. Much easier to use the trimmer most of the time

just bought one of those for my face and head tonight. had a shave at the art of shaving at mandalay bay with one. nice clean and tight. much cleaner than the straight razer I usually have done there.

had laser for shoulders and back. 7 sessions. 85% gone. I was george the animal steeles brother from the back for along time before that.

Its a double edge sword. My braun I can shave every day with and stay smooth, but will eventually get ingrown hairs and some bumps. My Razor I have to wait 5 days between shaves or I will rip apart my skin. So I am prickly for a few days.

I'm with Kevin on this, Bob.....nothing comes close to the results AND comfort of a regular razor to me.
