This post will hopefully run an extremely long time, I am wanted to go from fatty offseason bodybuilder (ie Bacon Boy instead of Juggernaut LaRue on RxMuscle) I will log workouts, nutrition, supplements, as well as post pics time to time...

2/11/09

supplements:

GNC10g of Fish Oil
GNC Multivitamin 1 in the morning, and 1 PWO
30 mg Superdrol a day
2 Bad Ass Mass
4000 mg Milk thistle
3 GNC liver tabs
50 g Isopure twice a day (Training Days only)
2 scoops vitargo (Training Days only)
1 Primrose Oil
1 garlic Capsule
1 grape Seed Extract
3 Caffeine free Hydroxycut ( Became addicted to stims, So I had to cut them out)
1 Prostate Pill per test pill


Starting Thursday 2/12/09 I will be following DAVE PALUMBO's Off Season Ketogenic Diet extremely closely

Cardio: 30 mins 2mph, 2% incline

So this is going to be as personal as possible, and I have a paper log to keep with me so its a quick transfer!

Wake up 5:35 am 30 mins fasted cardio ( I normally do cardio like 3 times a week just to get the blood flowing and feeling good.)

Morning supps: 1 Superdrol, milk thistle, Liver tab, saw palm, 1g FO, 1 mv, 2 fiber caps and 1 Bad ass Mass

Breakfast @ 7:30 1 Cup cooked oat meal, 6 whole eggs, cup of spinach,

Lunch # 1 @10:30 am 1 cup rice and beans (20% beans), 8 oz ground turkey :(, 1/2 cup brocolli, 1/2 cup cashews

Supps Round 2: Grape seed extract, 2g FO, 1 MV, Garlic, 1500 Vitamin C, 1 superdrol saw palmetto, milk thistle, liv tab, and GLA

Lunch # 2 @ 1:30ish 8oz sirloin, large salad, forgot potatoes!

Preworkout shake @ 3:45: 50g Isolate, 40g fast digesting carbs

Postworkot shake @ 5:00: 50g Isolate, 50g fast digesting carbs , 1 Solotron

Dinner @ 6:00: 4oz chicken, 1 cup cottage cheese, pasta with cream sauce, and 1 cup assorted veggies

Late night supps: 1 Badass mass, 3 caffienie free hydroxycut, 1 g FO

Dinner #2 @ 9:00 5 whole Eggs





Training @ 4:00 pm Arms Biceps and tris

Alt dumbell curls: 20x20, 30x10, 40x10 (my bi's don't contract with heavy ass weight)
Barbell curls: 45X15, 65X10, 85X10
Dumbell preacher curls (with full stretch at the bottom):25,35,45X10
Front double Biceps: 20X20, 40,60X10
Reverse Pushdowns: 80x15,110,130,150X10
Barbell skull crushers: 65,85, 95X10

30 seconds rest in between sets

Good training! Do you focus more on the contractions than the weight when you're working bis? It looks like we use about the same weight on those exercises, and that's what I do.

With bi's i do, I always get weird looks, but I find when I use super heavy weight I end up feeling it in my front delts, and not the bi's.

I couldn't care less what other people think of me in the gym. I just try to focus as much as possible on getting a good contraction on every rep.

2/13/09 Legs Day!

So I have switched my leg training from quad development to glute and hamstring building, I can already tell that for the next 2 days walking is not going to be fun.

Supps same schedule and dosage give or take an hour here or there I also forgot to list my sleep stack : 30 mins before bed I take 6mg Melatonin, and 2,400mg of fenugreek extract (ask me about fenugreek anytime its not just for making breast milk)



Training:
Jefferson presses: 95, 3X10 (each side)

Ass to the floor squats: 135, 225 X 20, 315 X 15

Stiff leg Deads: 135, 3x10

Lex extensions: 2X90lbs, heres how you do leg extensions: 10 reps each leg, then go super slow with both legs until your legs start shaking then do 10 more reps while they are shaking

Single leg curls 45 3x10 each leg

Calves: seated calf press 45X10 each leg,then 30 with both 90: two sets. 135, 180, 225 X 30

Nutrition

Meal one @ 6:30 : 6 eggs 1/4 cup cheese, 1 cup oatmeal
Meal two @ 8:30: 50g isolate 40g fast cabs
Meal three @ 9:30: 50g isolate 50g fast digesting carbs
Meal four @ 12:00: 12oz catfish, baked potato, and small salad
Meal five @ 2:45: 10oz ground turkey :(, 1 cup rice and beans mix, 1/2 cup brocolli, 1/2 cup cashews
Meal six @ 5:45: 10oz tilapia, 1 cup rice and beans, 1/2 cup green beans, 1/2 cup cashews
Meal 7 1 & 1/2 cups cottage cheese and an Oh Yeah Bar

Thanks ofr the kudos EHHH not so much on good training. Next week I'll do heavy leg pressin instead of sqauts, that will be good training, the FOUR FIGURE training if you know what I mean!

I didn't hire Dave I am just following his gift to the world, the ketogenic diet!
Ultimately when I do compete I plan on hiring him for consultation! At the end of the week I will run the Macros and right down an average.

lol thanks green, my shoulders are sore but its not too bad I think I actually had a good enough off season that I was able to completely heal up, like around October last year strained my back, and have had shoulder problems for the last 4 years, but I think I have taken care of it all!

After looking and reading over what Milos has started to say about insulin secretion/supplementation during training got me thinking that the biggest pump I have ever gotten occurred when I took BSN's volumaize I bruised, and ripped my skin several times. the biggest thing doing the work isn't aminos but the waxy maize releasing insulin which would cause all the nutrients around floating into the muscles that are being trained.

Novel Idea Mr. Sarcev and I tried it out, and I will ellaborate on this later!

I start my cycle of Hexaghen again tonight I love the product it's great and I always have a great response to it as well. My bulking will shift to cutting very soon tomorrow meal carbs will drop, and intensive cardio will start 6 days from now !

Good training BB! When you took the Volumaize, were you using it preworkout? I currently use ON's waxy maize but I put it in my post workout shake.

Fucking MD pissed the juggernaut off, and my family, friends, and random people at school have started calling me Bacon Boy because at the time I was putting away 6,000 cals a day, and I also hate the texture of pork, and it always seems to upset my stomach, so my family contends that since I eat like a piggy, and I don't other piggys I must be a bacon boy!

Good training. I hate when the leg press can't fit any more plates! Our big sled is currently broken so I'm forced to use the smaller one which only holds 7 plates. So I'm doing high reps and FST-7 a lot.

Well i liked FST-7 and I mainly the no rest/break mentality, my buddy is freakishly strong, he's more of a power lifter in a bodybuilders body though, he gets to talking to people I timed him, i had done the leg curls and the stiffys, he hadn't stopped talking in the 10 mins it took me to do all that...

Don't even get me started on the "talkers" man...I'll go off. In short, that's why I lift at 5 am. Helps me avoid all the anger caused by people wasting space in the gym.

gman: I am impressed by the bb front raises at 95 too! Yeah in all honesty I swung forward the last 4 reps (these are the charles glass style ones, that kai green does) and had the wrist straps tight!

That's a shit ton of weight for shrugs man. I thought mine were strong in off-season mode. I was shrugging 405 for reps and I think 375 reverse shrugs. How tall are you and how much do you weigh? Did I already ask that?

I am 5'8.5", hit the scale at 202. Rich that is a lot for reverse shrugs though bro, I normally hit 315 tops for the reverse.

I have hit 450 with elbow sleeves, 45 mg of Phera, and I had eaten sushi buffet for like nearly 45mins earlier that day. When ever the highscool kids come up and ask how much I bench, I always tell them enough to get hurt, not enough to brag.

The 450 came about when I used to care about strength, since I don't care about looking cool in the gym anymore, its rare to see me go higher than 3 plates, if I am feeling insane I'll throw another 25 no more than that, my shoulders thank me every time!

It was a lot man. I don't really go too heavy on anything anymore because I kept getting injured. My best bench was 350 flat, and got 255 for 8 reps on incline. Squatted 440. I don't even squat anymore because of a back injury and I miss it. Can't do deads either and I was repping 375 w/ straight bar on those. Injuries suck! I hear you on the shoulders man. Mine are fucked. Gotta find ways to alter the movements so they don't hurt. And it sounds like we're about the same size. I'm 5'7" but I only weight 175 right now. I was up to 228 at one point...fat.

I learned after straining my back doing something stupid as hell: Showing off... Young and dumb and screwed my whole off season up, I was planing on doing a show in late April, but decided to pullout because I couldn't make the necessary improvements, I am still shredding though because like Rich it hasn't happened in a while!

I am planning on going to a higher rep scheme this week ie: instead of 10, going to like 14, sets will stay the same

Cardio sucks miserably, but in my Ketogenic induced psychedelic state of mind, I am getting to a point were I enjoy it as long as I have Xbox hooked up!

Cobra makers are an exercise I made up and really good for lat development you perform the exercise by putting an upright bench in between a cable crossover station and with the pulleys at the top squeeze bringing your arms in, kinda of a motion you would do with a pullup only with a better range of motion!

Like one arm lat pulldowns at the same time? Sit in the middle of the crossover facing the mirror. Grab a handle in each hand and pull down and bring elbow into your sides?

Good arm work BB! I used to superset mine and do like 20 sets for each, but it was just too much and by the end of the workout, I lost a lot of the pump. They did grow though.

My arms are a conundrum they look like 19's relaxed because my tri's are so ridiculously thick, I have no bicep peak what so ever, so when I flex= big disappointment:(

So my goals are improve chest size, and biceps peak!

I used to have no peak either bro. Just keep plugging away at it. Use preachers to create the illusion of peak. And I've found that spider curls build peak pretty well. Some of us have it though, and some don't.

I am doing testolyze right now, I know you don't sell it at GNC, but it's just saw palmetto and 6-oxo. 9 days on it so far, no difference felt yet. Dave told me it takes about 2 weeks to kick in. What's your opinion?

BTW, my son works very part time at a GNC. He is actually interested in bodybuilding and how good the products are too, not the typical stereotype of a GNC employee. A lot like you it sounds like.

I can't remember my wrist measurement, but I do know when I did it and looked at the chart online, I had medium, on the verge of large wrists. I cannot circle my wrist with my thumb and middle finger and have the tips touch. About 1/2" short

Sucks for bodybuilding supposedly

IMO SP 250 is great if you can get a good deal, but without any paid representation I can say NO Shotgun from VPX is the greatest Pre workout out of all of them, eventually I am going to just run the shotgun synthesize stack and just use the rest of the isolate as supplemental meals, peptopro is no joke serious stuff!

So I am trying this whole deal where I train my lagging body parts twice a week

Training:
Incline bench @ 75 degrees: 2X135X20, 225,275X10
DB bench @ 75 degrees: 55X20, 75, 90X10
Lateral Raises: 20X20 30,45X10
Rear delts pec deck: 30,40,45X10
Cable Fyles @ 75 degrees: #40,#60,#80X10
Front BB raise: 45X20, 65,85X10

Cardio:
35 mins fasted AM
25 mins PWO

Nutrition/ Diet is completely different. I am a weirdo and just gotta do works best for me

#1 @9:00 5 omega 3 eggs, 4 whites, 1/2 cup green pepper
#2 @ 11:45 8 oz steak, 1/2 cup green beans
#3 @ 2:15 PWO shake 60g iso, 28g dextrose
#4 @ 3:45 8 oz steak, dinner salad
#5 @ 6:30 2 bowls of chili 70% burger, 20% beans 10% Cheese
#6 @ 8:45 2 cups cottage cheese

This diet is just what has always worked the best for me since I am not competing I am just eating when I feel like and doing an hour of cardio a day, if need be I will bump it to 2-3, which next when I am off of school I plan on doing cardio 2hrs a day because I will be on spring break!

Serve over rice, and grate at least a cup of cheese into the bowl and mix it all up.

I get free samples of them at work, so I only take it because its free once you pass the 70 pills a day mark, you quit counting and just say sure whats another one!

DB flyes to press : 55X12,8, 85X8,4, 105X5,5(Left pec suddenly failed abruptly never happened before)

Dips: BWXfailure
Chest Press Machine wide as hell: 135X14, 185 x6, 225X2( left pec failure again!?!)
Alt DB curl 25X20, 30X10 (rather difficult for some reason), 40X10 (really really easy, elaboration at the bottom!


Training Notes:
So today I noticed that my herculean strength is gone! As is my already crappy muscular endurance, I quit writing my diet down because I get pissy to everyone if I actually realize how few carbs I am eating, so I am only getting 14gs pre training and 28g post and maybe 30g from vegtable sources so on a good day I am at 45g Carbs from fast digest, which explains the cutness, and lack of stregth, but I found at the end of my curls if I take more than 30seconds rest I do have some strength which explains the curls, I was covered in sweat during a lot of my training...

I am not sure, itsa not painful or anything just feels goofy! Its just I think i extinguish the glycogen at the time, the strength for todays back workout was gone too!

So I just say its a function of low carb, I still get pretty pumped, so when the pump stops I'll worry...

So today is rest day aka cardio all day!

As of 9:27am one hour down, 2.5 mph avg, 5.5% woke up this morning and the fam looked at me goofy... Apparently they think I am looking really really cut!

Now that I hear that, me looking in the mirror I look great, on camera I think I look like shit and that's what matters... Since I am not going for a contest this year I am just going to cut, to hopefully 8% or lower and just hold low bf from there on, I did the skin fold im @ 13% after back work, which is probably off since I was pumped. And the other thing guys, I am running an ass ton of PH, so much so that I do not want to post the now because I don't want some kid seeing and saying OK i can look like Bacon Boy by taking XY then bridge to AZ, if your really curious PM me... Anyways PH alway make you hold H2O, and when I start taking Anti-E I should drop a lot of the bloat...

I'm thinking the same thing as you. When I start getting into the single digits, I'm going to assess everything. Not this year though. But next year when I start getting down, I'll decide if I'm ready or not. I really want to compete next summer. And I won't be restricted to a natty show.

So I have had the day off I just got done with my second session of cardio, and while I was on the mill I got to thinking about things...

I kinda miss being fat and strong but regardless I am still the Bacon Boy no matter what my ass is just dragging oh well, if everyone could be a bodybuilder it wouldn't be nearly as fun...

As far as progress goes I am @ 13.9 to 14.4% BF, still around 204, I am guessing I am going to get as low as 178 numbers on weight really arent that important to me as long as I am yoked by the end of it, its all good!

Hey BB I was gonna ask you this the other day but forgot. Do you find that SP250 does not mix well w/ the 4 oz recommendation on the jug? I tried it w/ 4 oz the first day and it was just lumpy as shit. I'm probably using 8 oz now and it mixes much better. Just wondered what you've noticed.

Food is good. I enjoy not getting hungry between meals, but I'm not going crazy on the cheats. I'm eating 90% clean, and having my cheats on the weekend. That allows me to go out and do things and not have to carry a cooler around w/ me. I was eating 2400 cals a day on maintenance and not gaining any weight at all, so I've upped it to about 2600-2800 to start and added carbs in on all training days.

I get a call from my regional boss at GNC (I have been selling major amounts of stuff from people eye humping my arms!) Saying I am promoted to manager of a store! So Baconboy is bringing in more BACON!!!

After looking at my physical journal I can tell I am no longer freakishly strong anymore! But I am 40 pounds lighter and a lot bigger looking, I get pumps anywhere and all the time and my training style is what i call pump pursuant, I get pumped by rep 8 on the first set and just try and blow it up from there well sense this diet and everything I can awknowledge that I have a better mind muscle connection, I think those are the reasons why and the depleted state all the time!

We go upstairs and check my bodyfat... 9.7% at 194... As time went on throughout the day I started holding more water here and there but its nuts, if I am pumped I think I am near show ready in that state and within the last 3 weeks I am all of a sudden vascular as hell...

Alright so fill in on life!

The store the put me at is so ****ed up its not funny paper work hasnt been done for months and loads of crap on top of that, they also have me working 4 10hr shifts every week which is screwing my training all to hell!

Well after having 4 50 carb days in a row and still doing cardio, around 1 and half hours fasted, I have been feeling really weird, then yesterday I hop on the scale it reads 184.... 2 days prior it read 194... WTF right so I have no idea whats going on with that, I decide to have 100 carb day. So I head to the gym after having to go in on my day off, and hop on the scale with: 2 meals, preworkout powder, and XYZ supps in the system, drank roughly 1/2 gallon of H20 and clothes on, scale reads 186...

Training occurs and I sipp my dextorse powder while going like always, i just feel weird... Strength is barely there too... Don't get me wrong my waist has shrank and I normally am @ 10% bf most of the time (BUSTER PICS UP BY THURSDAY i SHOULD HAVE TIME TO CLICK SOME OFF, I'll shave tonight! lol this kinda looks gay). So the plan is to stop cardio for a week stay on he diet and train as hard as I can tommorrow is chest that will be the true test see where I am at!

The night before I said hey time to cheat it up! I ate a chili cheese burrito, chicken quesadilla, and felt great, today did cardio with a protein shake ( 1 scoop) prior and cardio felt amazing, read this on stuff I like! Anyways post cardio had a serving of ON pro complex, and the 1/2 cup oat meal and then trained!

Chest day: Felt strong!

Weight is at 194 according to gym scale... Separation the same so might have put oin some muscle chest looks a lot more full.

I am not making a huge deal but I am committing to the 2009 NPC Midwest Ironman looking at hitting the stage at about 175, just afraid I wont be able to fill in the gaps in time but I have a solid month stritchly for growth, I am @ about 200 carbs a day training days and then about 100 for non training days...

Main areas that need most improvment ARMS ( would like to see them get to the 18-19 inch range), and CHEST really needs to come in more full, leg seperation as well as conditioning.

Plan is staying moderately lean and taking a slow time to hit like 9% by 12 weeks out, that way I have another 12 weeks to get down to 6-7% and life will be less stressful this way, but with my semester next year this all could change we shall see.

Nope I kinda personally have found what has worked well for me diet wise already, and the training kinda the same thing but as far as carb up that kinda stuff I don't know anything about that yet, I am thinking about Hany Rambod since the FST-7 program has really worked well for me and I kinda am doing his whole program (sorta) with out ever cutting him a check...

Haha the greatest story I have for something like that is I was working and in walks a mom and her super hot daughter!

At the time we didn't because it hadnt been re-released yet so I showed her the only diuretic we had at the time: XPEL. Out of curiosity I ask what she needs it for she is already in shape enough.

She says well I am holding a little water and I am doing a pagent, I say where are holding it at and what kinda of pagent is it?

Without hisitation the young lady pulls down her sweat pants showing me her lime green thong mother standing right there next to her, and she then bends over and shows me the area right under her ass... She then says bikini.

I look at mom who in no way is embaressed what so ever and I complete this transactionwith a red face a memory that will last a life time...

As you can see conditioning really needs to come up in the midsection, but in my defense the camera was in a goofy angle so it really robbed me of my peaks which is evident when I squeeze from the bottom to the top...

1/3 cup red pepper
Mrs. Dash either original, onion and herb, or extra spicy

Scramble together then melt 1/2 cup cheese of your choice...

Unfortunately I didn't have time to hit any shots PWO today because my softball team had a game around the same time as I got done so I was in a hurry (we lost 20-0), so I may through some up tomorrow either after cardio, or after hitting chest maybe both!

5/31/09 Back day: Stretch day: 23 weeks out!

Chins ss to wide grip pullups: 23+12, 14+10

DB single arm rows (on stretch day I keep constant tension the whole way through the rep): 55x14, 65X12, 85X10

Reverse grip lat pull downs: #100X14, #130X10, #150X10 (dont normally go this heavy must be shotgun!)

Dead lifts: 135X10, 225X10, 315X8 (I was sweaty!)

Cable pulldowns: 60X10, 80X10, 110X10 (never gone this heavy, even in offseason...)

7's: Gorilla pulls: 7X#130X10

Seated cable independent lat pulldowns you do it sitting don in the middle of a cable cross over with the pulley at the highest possible setting and bring elbows to your side I have called them cobra makers in the past as well!

So today 35 mins steady state cardio, I get to drop morning stuff down because I am working summer camp for the 5th year starting today and I get to run around all day and throw dodgeballs at kids, so I count that in total as 1 hr of cardio for myself training and posing should be up by 7:30 tonight StL time!

That's basically how I am as a summer camp counselor I give lectures about "the man", I have 3 rules: Be safe, Have fun, Don't Cry! Umm I dont know a single name of any of my campers they all have nicknames, begin many demonstrations with now dont ever do this ever!!!... I am the best/worst counselor of all time!

And then when kids say my dad/brother is stronger than you, I say nope!, can you dad do this and I'll pick like a picnic table or something up or pick a kid up with arm and shoulder press them lol and say lets see your dad do that lol
