I try to get creative with the ground meats and I didnt see any threads with recipes only pertaining to ground meat recipes. Here are a few that I like that are simple, lean and easy:

Turkey Chili-

lean ground turkey (can sub beef or chicken)
1 can rotel diced tomatoes with green chilis
1 can low sodium chili beans
1 small/medium onion (chopped)
diced jalepenos (optional)
shredded fat free cheddar (I use kraft because it melts best)
chopped green onions
1/4 to 1/2 packet of chili seasoning- low sodium
1/4 to 1/2 packet of taco seasoning- low sodium
cayenne pepper- to liking
lousiana hot sauce- to liking

spray a pan with non fat cooking spray and brown the onions, add the turkey and the taco seasoning and cook through, continue to add the rest of the ingredients except for the cheese and green onions. Add those last on each individual serving.

Turkey "Cheese Steak"

this is my lean version of a cheese steak.

lean ground turkey (can sub chickin or beef)
chopped mushrooms
chopped onions
black pepper
garlic salt
any other spices you like to add
kraft fat free slices (swiss, american, cheddar, your choice)

Cook onions and mushrooms until slightly brown. Add turkey and cook all the way through with spices. Place a slice of cheese over each individual serving while hot and mix through for a low carb version of cheese steak. You can also wrap in lettuce for added greens.

Traditional Balkan recipe: Ćevapi - Grilled rolls of minced beef and lamb, served with chopped fresh onion and ''lepinja''
Ingredients for Ćevapi :

350g Premium Grade Minced Beef
150g minced lamb
2 garlic cloves, minced
50g onion, minced
40ml natural mineral water
20ml oil
hot chili to taste (optional)
pepper to taste
vegata or salt to taste
Method:
Combine well all ingredients for Ćevapi. Refrigerate mixture over night.
Wet hands with water and shape the mixture into uniform rolls.
Cook the Ćevapi on a hot lightly oiled barbecue grill or frypan for 6-10 minutes, turning frequently.
Ćevapi can be served on its own or between slices of lepinja.
