My wife wants to start powerlifting in the off season. I have been researching Feds but there are alot and I am alittle lost, they all say they are the best lol. She will be lifting RAW so I am looking for a Fed in Florida that is suitable for Females RAW lifting. Any recommendations.

if she is going to powerlift for fun I would just go with whatever meet is easiest to do (i.e. location or date). Not sure if she uses drugs, but if so, make sure you figure out what feds test.

BTW you can say "woman" / "women" as opposed to "female"....

I've only competed in USAPL but there were plenty of girls in those meets. They tested in the meets I did.

I am curious too, what is the difference? I know it has something to do with being PC, just not sure what.

I know i got a earfull when I said "this girl that works for me" and the lady I was talking to responded with "so you have a female under 10 years old working for you?"

now I am afrid to use the word girl.

The PC crap is getting over the top. I'm from Texas, we frequently refer to waitresses as sweetie or darling. In no way is it deemed condescending or disrespectful. I said the same thing in North Dakota and was almost asked to leave.

I thought woman, women and female were all appropriate.
