I am looking to spend the winter. Growing my legs into massive new size. Anyone have any good workout tips, programs and/or ideas that worked for you or for someone else you know. That shocked your legs into massive new growth?

Well, first things first it will take more than just this winter.

Full range of motion, depth, and eating to grow... that is the quick and the clear.

squats
real squats not those ones you see the kids doing at the gym with 500 pounds and 2inches of motion

due to bad knees over the yrs..i have found some techniques that dont require alot of wieght..to stimulate my leggs to grow...i have put a sloid 2 inches on my overall leg size this past yr..doing a variation of different methods..at 40+ yrs i think2 inches in a yr of lean muscle is a quality gain...

:yep:For a long period in the past i did only squats 6-8 sets per workout and it worked great for me.Start with a lower weight and once you perfect your form try heavier into the 4-6 rep range

One important thing to keep in mind, if your legs haven't been responding, and you want to "shock" them. Whatever you have been doing, stop it, and do something almost completely opposite. So, if you have been squatting heavy, I would squat lighter with high reps (and vice versa). If you keep doing the same thing, you will just get the same results.

Therefore, you might want to post what you have been doing, and then maybe we could try to help you re-vamp your workout with new stuff/ideas.

Everything works up to a point, the body adapts and every now and then you should change your routine to get back into growth mode.In my opinion this theory applies to everything involved into bbing from training to diet..And i totally agree that everyone responds different, this is something i learnt over the years changing many training partners...

Like Big Sexy said, "takes more than a winter" to develop big legs. You can get "bigger" legs by doing what others have said. Most important thing is intensity, volume and heavy ass weights. Keep changing schemes, muscle confusion a must.
