I'm trying to find an arachidonic acid supplement that does NOT contain carob, as I have an allergy to it. X-Factor is the only one I've seen commercially available but it has carob in it....is there one out there that doesn't?

I am holding a box of Halodrol Liquidgels (Gaspari) in my hands. I don't see that ingredient (carob).

What is carob? I just hit up wiki but I don't think I have the right carob.

I was hopefully looking for just arachidonic acid. Carob is often used as a chocolate substitute, and carob bean gum is a frequent thickener in ice cream and cream cheese. It's also used for a caramel color...probably why it's in the X-Factor.

By the way Syntrax has a discontinued product it seems, called Hyper-H. Hard to find a real ingredient list, so not sure if it's got carob or not. But it's discontinued....

Thanks. I e-mailed Axis Labs to find out the dose of AA in their 6 capsule dose.

It's hard to say it was the AA itself giving me the results because I also had my nutrtition on lock when i was using it and we all know that nutrition is one of the main factors when trying to develop your body, but I will say I did get amazing results. All i know is that next time I perfect my nutrition that way again trying to gain size, I will add AA back into the diet.

Arachadonic acid does work as it's suppose to. I just could'nt stand how damned sore I was all the time, as if training isn't enough. Just my opinion though.

Thanks. I e-mailed Axis Labs to find out the dose of AA in their 6 capsule dose.

Got an e-mail back from them. They stated that if you take the recommended dose. "you will consume less than 1 gram per week" of arachidonic acid.

Definitely won't work. Still searching.
