I love them all! Right now it's apples, pears and bananas. Clementine tangerine season ended not too long ago. Those are awesome. Can't wait for the summer when peaches, plums and various melons get into their prime.

Unless you're contest dieting, there's no reason to ever avoid them.

i buy one of those 3lb bags of frozen cubed fruit at sams club. it has strawberries, peaches, pineapple and mangos cut up in 1" cubes. Theres also a bunch of fresh whole cranberries in the freezer. man that stuff tastes good.

the first meal of the day, right b4 work out, its...

1.5 scoop whey isolate
1/3 cup oat meal
5 one inch cubes of frozen fruit
5 raisins
5 natural cranberries
dash of cinnamon

i throw it all in a mug and microwave for 1 minute to thaw out the fruit.

then its some fast carbs/isolate after training and no carbs the rest of day. i havent tried daves keto diet full out yet. soon i might drop the fruit/carbs and see how much leaner i can get.

I don't eat fruit very often but my favorite is a Banana with Peanut Butter mmm
Or I would choose berries for their health benefits, but I hardly ever eat fruit too much sugar

I would rather see someone eat fruit than processed carbohydrates. I believe they have a more positive nurtient partitioning effect. If not dieting I don't see anything wrong with consuming some fruits each day. Sometimes I consume a piece of fruit post workout before hitting my whey isolate.

it depends. dieting i think fruits is absolute no-no.... (well on a carb cycling diet there may be a use on the super low day if you know what yoru doing.. )

however off season, if your going high carb, i think fruits are awesome. great tasting, low in calories, helps offset al the acidic bodybuilding foods, plenty of vits minerals phytonutrients antioxidants..etc

They taste good but overall probably not good for most people. People tend to put "good for you" labels and forget about calorie content/value as well.

There are far too many studies showing health benefits of fruits to ignore them I think.
if dieting you should probably be more selective about with fruits you eat, when you eat them and what you eat them with etc but in general it seems healthy to eat some every day.

Best diet I ever followed included , Apples, oranges, banaa's, lots of mixed frozen berries (and honey) and the weight fell off!

Again like Future says maybe not good for everyone. I eat fruit/veggies everyday and ive lost a lot of fat. But again it depends on everyone. Fruit may not the best thing for some individuals

Strawberries are awesome when in season but are terrible when not. It seems the window on them is so short. I'm going to grow my own this year.

I'm lucky in that there are a few farms right over in PA so picking in season is very easy...

i have a super smoothie with a lot of fruit every morning...much like any one of the recipes by Peaceful28...whey included...just in water...do you think it's bad to add a small amount of creatine...in the kre-alkalyn form?

I like em. Each week now I buy 2 1kg bags of frozen fruit. One has mixed mango, cantaloupe, peach, pinneaples, grapes and strawberies. The other is more of a berry mix, with stawberies. Tastes real good with oatmeal in the morning with chocolate whey. Will throw some in with yogourt, protein powder, honey and natural peanut butter. In summer they make good shakes thrown in the blender frozen, makes a for a thicker real cold shake.

I stick to fruit only in the off season, no need for it while dieting it makes you look smoother
