After about 2 years on the sauce, I've decided its time to clean up my act. Looking to have kids - aside from any theoritical birth defect risk, a zero sperm count is a pretty good motivator.

I do plan to continue competing at least until a baby shows up, in untested shows until I've run out my non-natual time.

Has anyone here had a similar experience? After a couple years (for NPC tested shows) will I be welcomed back or not so much? I'm not the most responsive guy to gear, so it's not like I have a physique impossible for a natural guy by any means.

I'm working with an endocrenologist to get my systems going again. Any other general advice/supplement advice in my situation?

Not sure how long it has been since you last sauced, but depending on what you used and for how long (oils, water based, orals..etc) After about 6 months you should be good to go for a natural show. As a natural a diet will be more vital than ever, so as long as you stay on top of that and keep your supps in line you will be fine. A little head sup for supplements, EFX's whole line is approved for all natural sanctions, so everything we have is WADA complient and you will have no worries, the TESTCHARGE would be a good help to get those natty test levels back up after cleaning out the sauce and starting the natty path. Hope this helped a little!

Just compete in the NPC. Some of the natty orgs require 5-7 years of being drug free. If you choose to compete in one of those orgs knowing this, then well..

I'm planing to do NPC untested shows for the next year, then find NPC tested shows with 1 year (some are 2) cut offs. I have no interest in trying to cheat here.

Anyone with similar experience?

In bodybuilding find out who is in your corner, and keep them there, surround yourself with people that will tell you what you need to hear, not feed your ego

Hey Anthony,

I've known quite a few guys over the years to get back into competing and training naturally after years of not being so natural. They typically go the NPC Natural shows first then wait it out till some of the other natural orgs.

Many know that the NPC Natural shows aren't really that natural, but better than the others obviously. So, you've got nothing to worry about. Just be open and most people are cool. I highly respect those who've made a bad decision and learned from those mistakes.

Several who I've known has achieved better results by truly learning about diet and training. That is not a sales pitch, but in fact the truth as most know very little in the grand scheme before using help.

Hit it hard naturally and you'll find yourself able to do it for years and years. Best wishes to you!

Good words Rich but may be a little harsh saying people who have made a "bad decision", they simply made a decision.

From what I have learned talking to guys they say they become more in tune with their bodies over time. I think you just have to readjust yourself in the gym and really dial in that diet.

Yes, it is certainly not my position to judge. My experience on the issue has obviously biased my opinion. Admitted.

I've seen many people mess up the hormonal systems, have gyno surgery, divorce, etc over the stuff. There is a reason why it is an illegal controlled substance. In my personal opinion, no good ever comes from it. It's just good to see a guy putting family first.

I also recommend you stand up so that you can get more power, but switch it up with Seated Military Presses and see how it feels. Now, you want to use a very short range of motion right at the position that most brings the middle deltoids into play.Keep repping out until you hit failure at about 8-12 reps.
