GOAL: To become a better person by focusing on family and business while using bodybuilding to enhance my life. Overall physique growth and improvement and bringing up weak points while maintaining overall health and wellness. NO COMPETING until I am ready physically and mentally, at least two years. My family and business associates must be ready as well.
STARTING POST CONTEST WEIGHT: 194 on 2/29/11
My NEW Diet:
Meals 1-6 Calories added using diabetic exchange, thus real calories are quite higher. This is just WAY easier to adjust and track for us.
Protein: 56grams
Carbs: 60grams

392g Protein—1568 CALS
360g Carbs—1440 CALS

TOTAL CALS: 3,818—Thus, not using diabetic exchange, a little over 4k calories. BOOYAH!
MAIN FOOD SOURCES!
Protein: Chicken, LEAN Top Round Steak, Tilapia, Greek Yogurt, Scivation Whey, Egg Whites, Whole Eggs.
Carbs: TONS OF Potatoes and Sweet Potatoes, Whole Grain Brown Rice Cakes for simplicity and yumminess and to make little sandwiches out of, Oatmeal, FRUIT mainly in the form of berries and grapefruit, Whole Wheat Barilla Pasta Plus, Cous Cous, Quinoa, Brown Rice, Beans Beans the Musical Fruit.
FATS! YEAH BUDDY!: Macadamia Nut Oil, Coconut Oil, Whole Eggs, Essential EFA (not counted as calories, 6 per day), Primaforce Max CLA (not counted as calories, 3 per day).
VEGGIES: Will add in ALL varieties including bell peppers, peppers, onions, mushrooms (yes, I know it is a fungus!), Corn, Carrots (all counted as carbs). UNLIMITED broccoli, asparagus, lettuce, cauliflower NOT counted as calories.

Just in case ya’ missed it….
I am not competing for at least two to three years. I am very content with what I have brought to the stage and achieved with my bodybuilding pursuit. But bodybuilding now needs to take a back seat to family and business.
When Katie was about to compete, she said something profound, “I cannot sacrifice the family to compete right now.” I agreed with her, and this makes sense on many levels. We want to teach our children healthy habits, and the little bit I am actually home, I would like to be able to cook and eat healthy choices with my children, and this cannot be done in strict contest prep. So we will actually be eating HEALTHIER, eating whole, natural foods at home, but not to contest prep extremes.
As for business, Scivation is growing very fast. I need to focus all of my time and energy on that. Thus, competing, although it takes no extra time out of my schedule, can interfere in my focus on this growth.
You will see me onstage again, and I will still be training hard and growing so when I DO step onstage again, it will be a bigger, better, leaner Machine. Thank you all for the support. The journey to be a better person and bodybuilder begins today. Jason Theobald from Natty Nutrition (

Especially after some questionable judging at some of my shows, LOL. Seriously, one need not compete to love bodybuilding. I love training, eating clean and getting results. It is all about constantly bettering yourself. I will always be a bodybuilder, even without the sexy trunks!

Weight on 3/1/11: 197.5 and SHREDDED!
If my two years off are anything like today, I am going to be in a GREAT SPOT and 220 onstage! Today was leg day, yes, THAT leg day. Full of AWESOMENESS and compound movements. I want to really start things off right with form, function and all out building the foundation. Thus, I chose to do PAUSE SQUATS instead of normal squats. 2 seconds IN THE HOLE with A2G and then EXPLODE UP for 5 sets of 6 reps. I then rounded it out with SLDL, Leg Press, standing calf raises and seated calf raises.
Last night, NOT SO GOOD! I got the virus that the kids had and guess what—BAM, right on my intestines and it was excruciating to the touch! I literally passed out and could barely eat. It hit me right after my epic video shoot of a chest day and Tire Flipping session at the University of Cincinnati with TigerFitness.com and Scivation Representative Bob Kupniewski. I was MISERABLE the entire way home, but I made it! I then ate my wife’s BEAUTIFUL DINNER and although it tasted good, boy was it painful. I then literally passed out and awoke to nausea and other bad things is terrible pain. At 5am, I woke up, felt GREAT, and the offseason commenced with 30 minutes if LISS on my treadmill. I am so excited to rock this!
My family is AWESOME! We have been munching on my wife’s YUMMY meal made with among other healthy things, 97% LEAN ground beef, whole wheat noodles, cous cous, fat free cottage cheese, fat free cheese…..YUM! This is ONE OF THE MAIN REASONS I AM NOT COMPETING—teaching our kids healthy eating habits and sitting down at dinner as a FAMILY with me not munching on prep-food!

I have also been making some epic meals. The Epic Food Prep: Scivation Egg Pancake made with 1 cup egg whites and 1 scoop Scivation Whey, 1tbsp psyllium husk, Stevia, and Cinnamon topped with Walden Farms Chocolate and 1tbsp Mac Nut Oil WITH 4oz Sweet Potato, 99g Blueberries and 110 grams Greek Yogurt. Total Macros: 56P, 60C, 15F.

Marc, I know you do Leg Press very different compared to others, do you have a video of how you execute a set? Do you pause at the bottom or just take your knees all the way down to your chest?

Been following your logs and etc on the boards and FB for quite sometime. I would like to say I enjoy ready them all and seeing that you are not afraid on high volume exercise with very intense cardio sessions. JT is a great guy and you are in good hands.

Weight on 3/2/11: 196.5. Weight from water is stabilizing. This means that next week, Jason might raise my calories if I continue to lose.
STRONG! YES! My back is a focus and I did 2-second PAUSE REPS on damn near every exercise and also did 2 exercises at the end with FLUSH REPS, AGS 10 style to fill the back with blood. High reps, low weight, and WOW—it was amazing! Strength is through the roof and the feeling in the gym is amazing! Today, even though an optional off-day, I will hammer some arms since they need some extra love as well. Training RULES and the road to being a TRUE, TOP OF THE CLASS heavyweight in 2-3 years is off to great start!
My diet is FLAWLESS and will be that way during the Arnold. I am packing a ton of meals and when I do eat out, it will be LEAN AND CLEAN! Check out some of my yummy goods from yesterday!

Pre-Workout Scivation Ice Cream Sludge: 40g Oatmeal, 110grams FF Greek Yogurt, 99g Blueberries, 56g Scivation Whey Chocolate mixed with a small amount of water into Scivation Sludge. Put in Freezer for 10 minutes and top with 1tbsp Macadamia Nut Oil and Walden Farms Chocolate Syrup.

I actually have stopped this as my flexibilty issues are over. I was going light and purposely rounding my back, but now I go just before it rounds as my lower back is not liking it!

No Sir. I just started the bulk and am at over 4k calories. My new thing is ZERO cheat meals as to set a healthy eating example for my kids and to enjoy healthy food. Legs are also two times per week and as planned, our calories SHOULD be going up about 500 on Monday of next week. Thus, I will be at over 6k calories daily at this pace in no time. That's a LOT of food!

Weight on 3/3/11: 195.8. Weight is dropping even at this calorie level, so next week we will be bumping it up ~500 calories from protein and fat unless something changes.
MOST EPIC ARM SESSION EVER! I thought the sleeves were going to rip off of my Red NEW LOOK Scivation Shirt! It felt amazing! I was in the zone and wow, I love it! My diet is on point and I have food cooked up to last the entire Arnold weekend. GAME ON!

Without going into specifics, on Leg Day Katie and I KILLED the HIGH VOLUME quad dominant day and strength was super high; on Friday Joe from MassiveJoes.com and I ROCKED the chest and tris and I hit a PR on Incline Bench Press AFTER Flat Bench Press by repping 315! Then, Saturday, The shoulders and biceps got HAMMERED!
CARDIO: NONE as I am on my feet at a trade show all day!
I am at the Arnold, working and making it happen! This is epic!

Weight on 3/8/11: 200! YES!
My diet was 100% ON POINT ALL WEEKEND AT THE ARNOLD CLASSIC running the booth and in meetings ALL DAY and even included my first FREE MEAL since my show at BUCA DI BEPPO with Steven from FLUSH FITNESS, our exclusive Australian distributor! I ate ALL of my meal ON POINT and when I ate out, I ate VERY VERY close to my macros. The calorie increase WORKED and we are leaving it as is for now. Jason Theobald knows what he is doing! I am home for a day, go to GA, home for the weekend where I host a BBQ qith MuscleandStrength.com and then I head to NJ for some BIG MEETINGS all week next week—NO REST FOR THE MACHINE! I am excited to be home with my kids and my wife is AMAZING! She was with me at the Arnold and wow, she is the BEST!

I Missed a meal yesterday due to some DAMN LONG WORK HOURS and the end result? I am still behind on work and I lost two pounds! Oh the tangled web we weave when....Scivation is TAKING OVER!! It is okay though as I will get every damn meal in this week! I am excited and the thing is, I am in no rush to grow, but it WILL happen. What is one day in the grand scheme of three years?

Katie and I killed back, traps and abs and it was amazing. I even FINISHED off back with FLUSH SETS of high reps to get the blood and nutrients in there for GROWTH! All meals hit, feel amazing and am STRONG in the gym. NO POST CONTEST FAT REBOUND! I am leaving on business today and returning tomorrow then I head to the Northeast for the ENTIRE week Monday through Saturday next week, then I rock Cleveland and VA the next week. I am gaining surely but slowly. The goal is no post contest FAT rebound and I have held to that with a super-strict, contest-like diet!The result? 198.5lbs and as lean as show day! I have over two years to get where I need to be, might as well do it right! All meals packed each day, CLEAN-eatin' and I don't care what the "experts" say, a calorie is NOT just a calorie! It is all about micronutrients, NOT just macronutrients! Between Derek’s training program and Jason’s diet guidance, I am on my way to amazing things. I have no idea what my limit is…let’s find out! It is like when a pro trains with Charles Glass and gets nutrition advise from another nutrition guru. This is what I have but IMO, my team is BETTER!

Hit up GA for a dinner meeting. Stopped and met some key accounts along the way and also signed Jim Haymore as a Scivation Athlete Rep. Jim is a bodybuilder and trainer who represents to the T what Team Scivation is all about and we are proud to have him!

Weight on 3/12/11: 204
It is happening! My body is now accepting the calories and getting bigger and more muscular! I still have shredded glutes and am at 204 pounds—YES! This is WITHOUT cheating on my diet so there is no transient increase in water weight or anything skewing the weight. This is PURE MASS. Imagine what will happen in 3 years of this. YES—HYOOGENESS! Last night upon returning from GA, I took my wife, kids and visiting Mother in Law to my favorite restaurant, Sal’s. I then remembered when in Cincinnati and Jason Theobald chose Longhorn to eat at. He said, “That there is GROW FOOD for me”, referring to steak and potatoes. So, I got a CLEAN meal of chicken breasts in marinara based sauce with a dry baked potato with marinara sauce on it. This is the new, healthy, ON POINT MACHINE. I will keep cheats, like my Buca, to once or twice per month to make life easy for Jason and stay lean and HEALTHY. What IS on the program is my wife’s healthy dinners that are awesome, like healthy meat loaf, healthy hamburgers, and healthy casseroles…even healthy muffins and cookies! Jason and I love potatoes and as he says, “It is all the MICROnutrients, like eating a (freaking) vegetable!” If done healthy, a lean 260 isn’t a dream for me, it is a probability. Just yesterday, Jason added 60 grams of carbs and 30 grams of fat from macadamia nut oil to my diet—over 500 more daily calories! And as for training, all Derek can say is, “You tell me your pants are not fitting in the legs, so keep doing it.” For a guy with three years off, I am treating everyday as the most important day of the diet and when I make my comeback, you will know that I was serious and LL Cool J will come and say, “Don’t call it a comeback, he’s been here for years.”
Jimmy and I trained at Fitness Forum on my way back from. Chest and tris and even abs….DONE! I even did 30 minutes of cardio at 3am at the hotel gym. Health above size people, HEALTH ABOVE SIZE!! Today, I train DELTS AND BIS with RJ Perkins and MuscleandStrength.com owner Damien and Wizard of the Net Steve Shaw are coming to MY HOUSE to train and I will then BBQ for everyone. That is how we roll here. And healthy BBQ is an option as I am making steak for ME, but all in all I have sweet and tangy dry ribs (sauce optional), my wife’s SOGGY, BBQ DRIPPING Texas Style Pulled Pork on Hawaiian Bread and my wife’s FAMOUS cabbage salad. RJ is bringing lowfat brownies. And oh yeah, the Scivation posse will be here!

I was up to 205 on Sunday then down to 202.5 today! BOO! Even WITH a calorie increase!
I trained with RJ Perkins—NEW SCIVATION ATHLETE AND IFPA Pro and my wife Katie on Saturday. We killed shoulders and biceps and then had an EPIC BBQ with MuscleandStrength.com! It was full of good ole Lobliner BBQ including my AWESOME ribs, Katie’s Pulled Pork, some Lobliner LEAN STEAK and of course, the meathead staple—CHICKEN! IT WAS EPIC!

Weight on 3/15/11: 207!
That’s right, BAM—WEIGHT ALL UP IN THERE! I am gaining and making it happen. Yesterday was probably the best day on the road in my entire career in the USA (Australia is the place I LOVE to be). The new, corporate Marc does just fine without posing down in every store. I would like to thank a certain anonymous man with the initials MM for talking some sense into me. I am very happy with this decision and it shows in my work. I am focused and ready to grow Scivation and when I get home, I am DADDY and husband, period. No more dancing in banana hammocks! Thus, I have decided that I will be training at 5:30am everyday even when at home (although I will not be home at all as you will see below) to maximize QUALITY time with the family. Sure, training with Katie rules, but in that time, I can instead finish work to DEVOTE the evening to her or even take the kids to the park while training. I also train better first thing. Training in the morning at 5am is my ideal time. I know many think I am crazy, but after that business is just too hectic to focus and I am brain dead. I love training with Katie, but I think I might have to go it alone to be a better, more BALANCED CEO, Father and non-competitive (for 2-3 years) Bodybuilder. The new Marc is here. He is balanced, happier, more corporate and BIGGER. And I am loving this. I cannot wait to come home at the end of the week. Here is what my schedule looks like for the next few weeks:

Weight on 3/17/11: 207—It stayed!
My weight is officially stable at 207. I AM STOKED! This is amazing! I promised no pics, but this has t be shown as testament to what Jason and Derek are helping me achieve—I am 207 and LEAN! YES! This is awesome and my legs are growing! I leave this morning (3-17-11) to a meeting then I drive home to NC. On Sunday EARLY, I high-tail it to Cleveland for a week of meetings and growing Scivation. Thus, tomorrow, FAMILY DAY after the kids get out of school and I don’t want to sound cheesy, but I cannot wait to cuddle my wife, Katie. She is the best and yes, I am a cuddler. J I miss them so much, but we are all in it for the long haul to assure their long-term success and to help Scivation change people’s lives for the better. For me, this is a mission far greater than putting food on the table.
If all goes as planned, we will have a calorie increase so ALL 8 meals are at the levels meal 1-6 are at now on March 26. Just an arbitrary date, but it is planned nonetheless!

What was the purpose of reformulating Xtend with 10% of your RDA of sodium in one scoop?
Why did we add the Electrolyte Blend into Xtend? Per Chris Lockwood, PhD., CSCS, the man behind our new formulas and product relaunch, Na, K and Cl are the body's most important, as well as the most highly researched and validated reactive minerals (electrolytes).
The combination of Trisodium Citrate Dihydrate + Potassium Chloride + Sodium Chloride, in the exact doses that we used within the formulation is backed by multiple peer-reviewed, controlled trials to significantly improve measures of hydration and plasma volume in active, healthy, diseased, as well as nutritionally starved and/or bacterially-affected individuals. I.E., The blend and the specific doses we used are very legit, and proven as a very effective electrolyte blend for supporting hydration needs, be it during rigorous exercise under harsh environmental conditions, or supporting hydration needs and health under compromised GI conditions. GROWTH AND ALL LEAN! I have sent pics to Jason and NO FAT is being gained, but I will not post them here as it just isn’t what I do anymore! I am happy because I will still look good for my guest posing at THE UPRISING in Plattsburgh, NY on April 2. I will also be LARGE!
I am home for a day then leave Sunday for Ohio. Just another road trip to build Scivation—the ETHICAL EMPIRE is taking over! Diet is on point, I am eating like a champ, and I am ready to GROW! I love training and dieting without a show in sight. I feel so amazing! It is also awesome to be home with my family. I love them SO MUCH! Today, I am taking a half day off of work and going to the park with my children then taking them to the mall to buy something nice as a present. We will then cook a healthy dinner TOGETHER! Upon returning last night, Katie made me HEALTHY, 97% LEAN BEEF burgers and they were the best burgers I have ever had topped with nionfat Greek Yogurt, Carb Free Ketchup and Fat Free cheese on a whole wheat sandwich thin. I had two and it was AMAZING!
Slowly but surely, my life is getting BALANCED!

Okay, I go to a restaurant with the family, eat clean but finish my daughters ice cream and cake and LOSE 2lbs!? This GROWING thing is WEIRD!
I am thoroughly enjoying my time at home, all WHOPPING two days, and am ready to CRUSH IT in the MidWest next week. Another day, another GIANT LEAP for Scivation. I have been training and eating HARD and am ready to grow, but BALANCE is first and my family and Scivation take the driver’s seat. I am making bodybuilding work WITH me and wow, do I love it. For the first time ever, I feel complete. NOVEM preworkout, which SHOULD be in retailers within a week as we held it back for EXTENSIVE GMP-based testing, is making working out a PERSONAL BEST day everyday. I sincerely love NOVEM and when I did shoulder and biceps today, the pump was almost painful. I mean, WOW! The results have been awesome. I am VERY proud of this one!

Marc im lovin the journal. Leanbody jason will tell you if your not gaining you need more cals plain and simple. That is as long as you bf is in check. Im pretty sure Marc was eating pretty high cal going into the NKY show so 5k isn't suprising. Keep killing it Marc I will continue to follow. Btw I can't wait to try out the new Extend and Novem!

We are actually planning to BUMP calories Saturday since I am so lean still. This is me last night COLD and after 7 meals.
Primaforce Cissus, I maintain at 4 caps/day. When it gets bad, I take 6 and it has healed almost within a week in the past!

Yesterday, I went to the gym at 5am and did my Monday workout, LEGS and cardio before heading out for a week of meetings in Cleveland, OH. It was a GREAT session and weights are going up and away! I feel great and I am looking better than ever and READY to tear up the guest posing at The Uprising in Plattsburgh, NY on April 2. Saturday I did shoulders with Katie. I will not log my workouts as they are the same as last week except I got more weight this week. I did my Monday workout Sunday so I can do BACK for a filming thing on Monday.
Diet has been ON POINT! Some recipes for ya!
Lobliner Scivation Whey Protein Waffles
1 c FF Greek Yogurt
2.5c Egg Beaters
3 scoops Scivation Vanilla Whey Protein
...1 c. oatmeal
1 c. oatbran
2 tsp. vanilla
3 Splenda packets
Mix all ingredients well in blender. Pour 5 ounces of batter into waffle iron that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Cook for 3-4 minutes depending on waffle iron. Makes 8 waffles.
Macros per waffle: 158 calories, 21.5g protein, 17.3g carbs (2.8g dietary fiber), 168g sodium, 2g fat (from Whey, oats and oatbran)

Oh ya, im sure it was done with the best intentions and most likely superior to the original form, but as a retailer it will be hard to rationalize the added ingredients simply by stating its good for you and your stomach. Thanks for the response man....

FILMED AN EPIC SESSION OF BACK THRASHING! The Bodybuilder’s Inc. in Akron, OH was amazing. This was the best gym ever. Hardcore, epic, best old-skool machines. WOW! This will be ready soon! I would post what I did, but there was just too much. We will wait for the video to rock out! What a great trip! I am on day three of my trip to Ohio and it has been great. A lot of business has been done and I am rocking it hardcore! AM TRAINING at 5am everyday, cardio either PWO or in the evening. But I am up at 3:30am DAILY for meal 1 then off the TRAIN! Rocking the session, rocking the meals, rocking the HEALTHY cardio, and rocking the GROWTH! Saturday, all hell breaks loose and calories get raised. Tomorrow, LEG DAY and another epic day of Scivation GROWTH! I am pumped and with the NOVEM coursing in my veins, I am ready to kick ass and chew bubble gym, and I’m all outa bubble gum!
Sent update pics to Jason yesterday. He is pumped as well. The potassium in the EPIC portion on potatoes (white and sweet) I am eating is controlling my water balance for a whole new level of offseason conditioning for me. This is truly the best I have ever felt, endless energy and the best pumps and mental focus ever.

This has been a BUSY couple of days. A lot of internal commotion at Scivation with all going on with the NEW PRODUCTS, WADA Testing, NOVEM launch delays due to our stringent GMP testing, meetings, sales calls, more meetings, international business. I am NOT balanced! I decided to drive home and arrive late last night upon finishing my meetings rather than drive home this AM (Thursday) and I got to see my kids this morning—YAY! I am not sleeping enough and tonight I will get more than three hours of sleep. It has been CRAZY! Regardless, business is growing, I am meeting all of my obligations, and for you BALANCE people, I haven’t missed a training session or meal YET! I guess excellence doesn’t come easy. I trained arms on Tuesday and did HYPERTROPHY LEGS on Wednesday. Both were EPIC workouts. I enjoyed them and my leg veins are ridiculous now.
I have been having macadamia oil as my sole fat source since my contest prep, NO PB, and WOW, what a difference. Macadamia Nut Oil is the MAGIC FAT! I have been splitting meals between Scivation Whey and carbs and MEAT and carbs---3-4 Scivation Whey and 4-5 MEAT and carbs. I feel GREAT and know Scivation Whey is TRUE TO LABEL and tastes GREAT! What a TREAT!
Today I will not train AM, I will train at 4pm while my car is being inspected. Time to get a lot done before in two weeks, I leave for AUSTRALIA—YEAH MATE! Next week, EPIC FINAL POSING ROUTINE/GUEST POSING at The Uprising in Plattsuburgh, NY. Would love to see you there!

Weight on 3/26/11: 205.5—OH NOEZ—BRING ON THE CALORIES!
Today was a chest and triceps! Despite my sore elbow, my triceps and chest strength was unreal and the NOVEM had me going NUTS! It didn’t matter that it was before 5am, I was ready to rock! UNREAL PUMP!!!! The NOVEM SHOULD be at the PRESALE SPOTS next week if all goes well. We are awaiting ONE FINAL QC test to release. We will NOT release anything until we are 110% certain of the QUALITY! Scivation is all about building better bodies through science and innovation. But regardless, my weight is DOWN and today (Saturday), we increase to what is seen below. This is a LOT OF GOOD, WHOLE FOOD. GROW TIME! FAMILY LIFE IS AMAZING! Here is Katie, Kami and I celebrating Thomas’s birthday. MY LIFE IS AMAZING! Next week, I start the tour and I leave for Australia in two weeks and am gone for over three! I will miss these moments while I am gone!

Calories are up, weight is back to 206, training with Katie was awesome, and we COOKED up a storm yesterday! CALZONE was lunch and dinner was a hamburger casserole. We documented the Calzone HERE
THE LOBLINER AWESOME CLEAN CALZONE!
Ingredients and Cooking Instructions:
1 Trader Joes Unbaked Whole Wheat
......~8oz COOKED chicken
~1/2 cup FF shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Natural, Organic Marinara Sauce
Preheat Oven to 450 degress F. Roll out dough, cut in half. Add marinara sauce on half of one of the halves of dough. Add ~4oz (to fit) chicken and then top with cheese. Fold dough over and crimp sides. Repeat on other half of dough. Place on baking sheet (sprayed with nonstick spray). Back uncovered for 15-20 minutes or until brown. Cut in half and let cool. GRUB!

THIS week, my FINAL guest posing and stage appearance for a LONG TIME happens at the Uprising in Plattsburgh, NY and I have a few days of meetings in NY—time to ROCK! After this, I go home briefly then fly to Australia for nearly a month of MAKING IT HAPPEN! I am so excited! Also, have no fear, it appears NOVEM will ship this week VERY SOON! I will announce on my FaceBook. This is the most awesome supplement I have ever used. The PUMPS are unreal and I have a feeling I will be gaining some QUALITY size from it. The EPIC guest posing in Plattsburgh, NY at the Uprising is in a day! I am going to bring some size, condition and comedy at 210 pounds! This is MAYBE my final stage appearance ever or for at least a LONG time, so come out if you can! Yesterday I hit a few business meetings in NY and it was a great overall day and I even got upgraded to first class on my flight and slept like a baby. Now, I am getting ready for a day of work, helping Ron set up his show and also training. My weight is rising and I feel amazing. This is AWESOME! As you all know, this is my LONG BREAK from competing. I did my final stage appearance MKID OFFSEASON at 210lbs this weekend and for offseason, I am PROUD. This is maybe the best I have looked (non stage shape) and I had FUN and the crowd seemed to enjoy it. If this is my last stage appearance ever, I am more than content. Here it is:

What means the most is WHAT is meant to me. since it was hard to hear, here is what I was announced to the stage with—the intro. It is the truth:
Marc Lobliner is the CEO of Scivation and Primaforce and is also a National Level Bodybuilder in the NPC. He has decided to take 2-3 years off from competing to focus on growing Scivation and being a PERFECT husband and father, but is still going into this break with the mindset to grow, comeback and win his IFBB Pro Card with a dense, muscular package that cannot be denied. This is Marc’s last stage appearance for a long time, so let’s make some noise and give it up for Marc Lobliner!
Sometimes we all need to step back and evaluate our goals. I NEED to be a better father and husband and pour my all into Scivation. I also NEED to be the best darn bodybuilder I can be, because I ALWAYS reach my goals. To do this, I need to GROW as a bodybuilder and not compete and also, I need to dedicate ALL mental energy when not working to my family. I am traveling basically every week until August including LONG trips to Australia and the UK. I leave for the land down under this Wednesday. My family needs me when I am here, all of me, and I cannot be worried about splitting a corn dog with my son. I am a DADDY—that is my #1 role in life, PERIOD!
I will be missing my wedding anniversary on April 13 AGAIN due to being in Australia. I love you Katie, and SORRY FOR THIS, but the overall growth of the company and the mission is worth it, as you know, and also securing the children’s future. I will make it up to you when I get back, I PROMISE! NINE YEARS OF MARRIAGE and this is our 14th year together. Remember these two fat, happy kids?

Woke up at 2am today to hit BACK and TRAPS! Yesterday was an amazing chest day and the day before Katie and I hit legs so hard I am still VERY VERY SORE! Strength is up and my legs are growing. I doubt you remember me but I did stick out like a sore thumb cause I was the only guy with long hair, long-sleeve T, and jeans on.

Weight is probably around 213. I have no scale for morning weight!
I am in Australia now and rocking it! I trained LEGS at Gold’s Venice before flying out, Left LA Thursday night, landed in Sydney at 6am on Saturday. I then had meetings all day Saturday including chest training with a business associate, and left Sydney that SAME DAY on a 6pm flight to Adelaide. Sunday in Adelaide was fill of with seminars, ANOTHER LEG training session with a client and meetings all day ending past 10pm. Today (Monday), I had a 6am flight to Perth followed by meetings, a back training session with an account all the way to a 9pm dinner meeting! Tomorrow, same CRAZY stuff!
Diet has been ON POINT! 8-10 meals a day since time changes and lack of sleep and I have been having a LOT of Scivation Whey and Oatmeal Brownies. Today, I was able to pick up and cook some Kangaroo, sweet Potatoes and broccoli for tomorrow. I have also been keeping to my one cheat meal and last night GRUBBED some of the best Greek Food I have ever had—UNREAL! I am at least hitting my calories! Diet will not be perfect, but it should suffice!
Tomorrow, MORE PERTH and another day of EPIC! Until next time, GOOD AYE MATE!

What I do for travel, as I am gone over 270 days per year, is PACK MEALS and bring extra Scivation Whey and Oatmeal to make pudding out of. It WORKS! I also train as soon as I can to regulate my body's water balance, etc.
Chest workout was normal, barbell bench, incline barbell, etc. Nothing funky!
Also, I travel weekly, so it IS the norm to me.

Meal packing is critical of course. I need to step my traveling game up a notch big time. Too often I find myself traveling with only chicken breasts and not much else.
And like you mentioned the water regulation is the trickiest part.
Question: Have you experimented with bands on BB Bench Press and if so what did you make of it?

Another eating challenge? It was easy, as basically it was two of my meals. one kilo steak (25% was fat that I didn't have to eat) and a half of a kilo of fries and another half kilo of steamed veggies. Other than the fries, it was on point. I ALMOST beat the record (one minute too long), but I finished in 10 minutes and then had meal 7 two hours later--GOTTA GROW! And this was a BUSINESS MEETING! Sometimes I love my job!
Off to crush it today baby!

Quick Update--
It was a CRAZY week in Western Australia with little sleep and a TON of meetings. Last night I arrived in Sydney for an epic three days at FILEX, a health and fitness expo. Sure enough, one of the "stars" alongside me in our stand is, yes, the great Dorian Yates! We spoke for over an hour and are organizing something when I head to the UK. This is EPIC!

This is a LONG weekend then a day in Sydney then the MOST EPIC seminar ever in Townsville with an expected attendance of over 300 people to hear me speak! WOW
This is what it is all about. Spreading the message of health, fitness and reaching your physique goals!
As for me, diet is GOOD and I am growing. NO CLUE how much I weigh, LOL. Training is off the chain and yesterday was my first "off day" since coming here but I did do HIIT on the elliptical in the hotel to get some blood flowing post flight. Today is BACK!

Weight on 3/2/11: 196.5. Weight from water is stabilizing. This means that next week, Jason might raise my calories if I continue to lose.
STRONG! YES! My back is a focus and I did 2-second PAUSE REPS on damn near every exercise and also did 2 exercises at the end with FLUSH REPS, AGS 10 style to fill the back with blood. High reps, low weight, and WOW—it was amazing! Strength is through the roof and the feeling in the gym is amazing! Today, even though an optional off-day, I will hammer some arms since they need some extra love as well. Training RULES and the road to being a TRUE, TOP OF THE CLASS heavyweight in 2-3 years is off to great start!
My diet is FLAWLESS and will be that way during the Arnold. I am packing a ton of meals and when I do eat out, it will be LEAN AND CLEAN! Check out some of my yummy goods from yesterday!

The daily updates are back and I am HOME for a week! This was the most epic trip ever. I went to LA, then Sydney, then Adelaide, then Perth, then back to Sydney, then Townsville, then Mackay, then Bundy, then Brisbane, then Sydney AGAIN, then LA AGAIN…..now I am back in NC! What a trip! I trained with people, for news shows, business meetings around the clock, HUGE FILEX trade show, seminars, meet and greets, meetings over meals. It was non-stop and I am BEAT! All this while maintaining my diet and training to the T! I LIVED on Scivation Whey, Oatmeal and Peanut Butter mixed into a SLUDGE as 2 of my 8 meals a day. We just didn’t have time to eat! I felt great and my energy was awesome.
Now that I am home, I can really focus on some office work and my family until I head out to the Northeast next week to slam some NOVEM all over the place. The more people try NOVEM, the more people LOVE NOVEM and swear off all other PreWO!
Speaking of workout Nutrition, I am now hitting the following around my workout to GROW. I started this with my Saturday workout at Gold’s Venice:

I have been TOO BUSY to update! I am training hard, stuck at the 212-215 weight level and am EATING to get this up! My workout Nutrition is IN PLACE and I am eating 8 meals a day. Training has been AGS-10 with two leg days a week. Basically, I take one work set to failure on every exercise. I am doing NO cardio right now. Here is my split:
Monday: LEGS
Tuesday: Chest and Triceps
Wednesday: OFF
Thursday: Back, Traps, Rear Delts
Friday: LEGS
Saturday: Shoulders and Biceps

5-9-11 UPDATE
Weight: 218 Morning, 224 Night
Tonight is LEG NIGHT and I will log this workout. I cannot guarantee consistency as my schedule is a mess.
The new workout nutrition plan is working! I am gaining LEAN MASS! Ab veins are still in, quads still veiny, still as shredded as I was at 210 and my strength is up! Training has been all-out to failure AGS-10 style. This has elicited a new quality of muscle that showcase more graininess, veins and overall quality muscle. My diet has been on point and I have been eating a ton of organic, Omega 3 (~12 per day) eggs, and a LOT of Scivation Whey. With my traveling and busy schedule, I am only able to get in 2-3 whole food meals a day. My other 5-6 meals are:
Scivation Whey
Oatmeal
Peanut or Almond Butter
My WHOLE FOOD MEALS are usually CLEAN meals cooked by Katie or meals out if I am traveling. I hit close to my macros, but am not anal. I just try to eat as much clean food as I can to GROW! My cheat meals have been non-existent, I just don’t like crap food.
All of these whole food only GURUS are wrong!—my gains have been better than EVER! Maybe it is the protein they use, because Scivation Whey DELIVERS what it claims. I am getting clean, effective protein that tastes like a dessert. You get what you pay for I guess….
Supplement-wise, NOVEM has been amazing and I have been focusing on getting in my staples. Since I can only travel with so many pills, I keep it to the essentials that are:

Saturday: Shoulders and Biceps

This has helped me GAIN lean mass! Check it!
PreWO: 20g Scivation Whey, 30g Primaforce Carb Slam, 4 scoops Scivation NOVEM, 1 Scoop Primaforce GPLC.
DURING: 6 scoops Xtend, 30g Carb Slam.
PWO: 20g Scivation Whey, 30g Carb Slam.
This is when I need to add these intra-workout calories to maximize nutrient delivery DURING the workout period. My calories are so high now that this is the next step!
DIET!
Meals 1-8 Calories added using diabetic exchange, thus real calories are quite higher. This is just WAY easier to adjust and track for us.

Hey marc are you on any type of HRT or TRT therapy? If so do you get any HGH with it? I'm not trying to hate you have to put in all the dedication of eating and training like you do but seriously your gains have been rather mind blowing over the last 2 years, i still remember the cover of the CHA diet with you and derek on it, he seem to have stayed the same size while you have gone light years ahead. I hope to land myself a good job with good health insurance and find a doc to prescribe me some test and hgh, cause even though i am only 30 i am probably still lower then the average male and definately lower then what my levels were when i was 18-24.

We have A LOT of products coming very soon, but IMO, you are better off combining Whey with a fat and/or fiver and taking advantage of it's higher BV and quality than using a casein.

agree with you 100%, if you are truly into the bodybuilding aspect of health and fitness then you basically want all your meals to be either Whey or whole foods or a combo. And as far as fancy hydrosolates, and isolates, i've read you make better gains with Whey protein concentrates, which is what the first ingredient in Scivation whey is.

QUICK UPDATE!
HUGENESS--despite LITTLE meals of whole food (1 per day with Scivation Whey, oats and almonds comprising the other 7 meals), I am GROWING! I must be closing in on 225, I don't know! But training is UNREAL and I did chest when I landed in the UK just to get rid of jetlag on Sunday but stuck to my scheduled chest day last night with some business associates. Even with lack of sleep and all Scivation Whey based meals, I hit 365 for REPS and had the best NOVEM + GPLC induced pump ever!

The greatest workout ever. Leg day was unreal and I went heavier and harder than ever. As my wife has pointed out, the size and firmness of my ass is out of control, so even more reason not to do squats. Dorian said he stopped doing them for this very reason. I am all for a big ass, but this is getting out of control. Katie was training, but since she hits mostly glutes and hams (her problem areas), she actually preexhausts with glute kickbacks then does lunges and squats and so on. Here is my session!

Diet in on point. NEED TO EAT MORE--dropped weight so hovering in the 220 range from 225. DAMN! I am hitting all meals too!

LOL he is eating over 6000 calories EVERY macro is "too high" for just about everyone else, lol. He is growing right now no need to put more down his throat, we want solid gains.

New Scivation product for us business folk while at work. Vaseline bodybuilder wipes. I know the feeling and this newpaper like toilet paper at work can get old quick, lol....

6000 calories is pretty diesel. I'm eating vicariously through marc. For me its Chicken, rice, and broc. yawwwwnnn.

Been traveling cross country, in meetings and in my brother-in-laws wedding. Good news is I am 227lbs now and I am in California rocking some sales and meetings. Lifting has been amazing at Gold's Venice and my legs are getting HUGE! I have work to do, but for now, enjoy this poor exhibition of a never-will-be white rapper....

My wife and I just returned from a working vacation ALONE on Vegas. We got a couple's facial, laid out by the pool, saw Terry Fator. This was EPIC. Some pics of my amazing family, wife who is WAY out of my league, and me at 230lbs!

I just wanted to stop by and say what's up. I have been using Scivation whey since it came out and I absolutely love it more now than ever! For anyone that reads this, try it out...you will never buy another whey product again. I have 6 scoops per day and it is light a treat everytime I have it.
