I know you just said carbs, but one thing I like to do is mix a cup of oatmeal in with a protein shake and let it sit for bout 15 mins till it gets kinda mushy, and some cinnamon, and you can drink/chew it, it sounds gross but when you're dieting its pretty good stuff :yep:

put a 1/2 cup of oats in a food processor and grind in to a flower like texture mix with an egg and a 1/2 teaspoon baking powder some milk or water to get the correct thickness and you have pan cake batter.

i use it all the time but i like to add a little lemon extract to it and double the oats but they process better if you only do 1/2 a cup at a time.

this may not be the tastiest idea but,

you can cook your oatmeal like normal, mix in your favorite protein powder, stir it up good, and leave it over nite in the fridge, then it becomes hard like rice putting.

then you can take it with you n put in the fridge at work if possible.

if you don't mind sugar you can toss it with honey and toast it in the oven at 375 F until crispy and its basically granola.
