hey everybody, palumbo diet question: is it ok to eat sugar free jello and drink crystal light while on the palumbo diet? my buddies and i debated, one said yes, the other said no b/c they have maltodextrin and will knock you out of ketosis. whats the correct answer? thanks!

if dave doesn't list it, it's not the palumbo diet.

I thought I remember reading that crystal light was ok, as was diet soda

not so sure about the jello though

He told me NO to the sugar free jello due to the maltodextrin (spelling is questionable) lol but this is a bad sweetner for his diet.

if he said no to crystal light b/c of the maltodextrin than it would prob apply for the jello.

what do people on this diet do to make their stomach feel full? ive been drinking water constantly and never feel satisfied. i like the crys light and jello b/c it was sweet and made my stomach feel satisfied. any suggestions?

how long have you been on it?

Once your insulin levels even out and you are in full keto, you should not be hungry.

I am on week 10, and have to force myself to eat.

im working with dave and i just drink water and diet soda. I wouldnt mess around with crystal light as most of them actually have like 10 calories in them and jell-o i would stay away from, even it is zero calories.

What about tea with a little bit of milk in it? Is that alright on keto?

One tub (8 servings) of Crystal Light or substitute contains 8g carbs from maltodextrin. They use it as an anti-caking agent.

I don't know about American product, but Jello Light here in Canada (at least the strawberry and raspberry flavours) DO NOT contain maltodextrin. The lime flavour DOES contain corn dextrin.

Coffee, caffeine is a pretty strong stimulant. I haven't managed to get completely off it but it's certainly going to do bad things if overused.

ive used dave 2 x and each time ive just drank water coffee and diet soda more diet sprite and flavored sparkling water since clearer sodas are less stressfull to your kidneys and better not to bloat you...this diet isnt made to be easy its made to work enjoy your cheat meals and inbetween just suck it up

The best type of mix is actually by ocean spray! Its sugar free, and very tasty!

i think anyone who is just trying to get lean for the beach or just in general is fine eating sugar free jello, drinking crystal light even putting ketchup etc on there foods.....its one thing if you decide to do a show then i think u need to worry about the small things...but shit is that really a way to live

perserving there is 1g of protein.. not even carbs.. this is fine for the diet.. so is moderate crystal lite.. diet soda is fine obv.

prolly the last week coming to a show.. the sodium content in the jello might be a problem.. but not at all in the dieting..
