Lenda Murray is promoting an NPC Bodybuilding, Figure & Bikini Championships set for August 22, 2009 at the Harrison Opera House in Norfolk, Virginia.

And I've heard that Dayana Cadeau is promoting a show as well which is set for October.

Was checking back over some threads I posted looking for one in particular and then found this. :(

Scratch the NY Pro off the list of those shows coming up.

And say a prayer that other promoters will take a bit more initiative at getting competitors (if it's true that that was one of the issues in holding a FBB contest this year) to participate. Or that the IFBB waive a portion if not all of their sanction fee in order to maintain this grand tradition of women's competition.

ROI, schmarrr oh eye! I'm a fan not a businessman. And the IFBB would do well to remember its roots. At one time it wasn't about the almighty dollar or at least not entirely.
