Men & Women's Masters at the Team U in July 2011!

Bev & Steve have scheduled an amateur national masters competition for men & women. It is not a pro qualifier. Check the link above for more details, & I've written Bev & asked for further details (e.g., what qualification if any is necessary to do the Team U masters), but briefly here are the categories:

Men's Masters Bodybuilding--over 35, over 45, over 55

Women's Masters Bodybuilding--over 35, over 45

Women's Masters Figure--over 35, over 45

Women's Masters Bikini--over 35, over 45

Just to clarify, although everyone should know this, the Team Universe is a tested show & winners of any class will be tested.

Entry deadline is June 24. Contest is July 8-9 in Teaneck, New Jersey.

Steve replied & said the qualification for the Masters at Team U is the same as it is for the Masters Nationals: you must do at least one show with the NPC previously, & there is no restriction on where you placed, or what class you competed in. Same for women & men. AND there's a pro card for the over-35 masters figure overall winner! A masters figure competitor reading this might get this card--go for it! :)
