Hey guys just wondering what your take is on myostatin blockers. Have you tried them? Safe? Side Effects? Availability?

there isnt one available that has been shown to work on humans. also i was reading some info on myostatin that suggested that you would have to block it during developemnt, ie a child, for it to have large effects.

The last time I checked properly, they were in clinical trials with patients with muscular dystrophy.

Supps?

Highly questionable.

myo-029 is a humanized monoclonal antibody against myostatin that just made stage II fdas for MD patients (wyeth).

I believe wyeth terminated because the muscular effect was not as robust in md patients as in animals...

there are lots of proteins and other things to come directed at myostatin.

Stay tuned to Bodybuilding Science for the latest updates...

It was the wyeth clinical trials I had read about.

Nice to know the outcome.
