I've only just come with the idea to 'grow some muscles' and I'd like to know what some good diets are for someone of my age.
Please don't say stuff like 30 raw eggs a day that all those monsters around here take!

I read that a vodka-shot amount of olive oil helps, is this true?
And how often should I eat?
Is it the calories in food or the proteins that help building muscles?

Support please!

The key thing to consider for building muscle is adequate calories.
While your question is so black and white there is no complete answer.

We have no idea about..
1) what your currently eating or how many calories
2) your training routine
3) your cardio routine.

Making healthier choices is priority, and getting enough calories is another main priority.

Just stick to eating lots of Chicken, Eggs, Steak, Pasta, Rice, Oatmeal, Potatoes, Whole Wheat Bread, Fruit, Veggies, Cottage Cheese, Yogurt (greek or regular), Peanut Butter, Almonds, Olive Oil's (used as salad dressings). And if you or your family goes out to eat or has a meal like pizza + ice cream dont be afraid to dig in and enjoy "Moderation"
