50 and over in Pittsburg

I was looking at the 50+ in Pittsburg Nationals, IMHO the guy that took 3rd looked more conditioned and developed that the top 2 placers, I am not a contender or a judge, I was just thinking out of all the judging I looked at that one may have been the most off?
