Sorry not related to our forum but there are some smart peep here

This sprung up in my backyard overnight. I have no idea what it is. Anybody got any ideas?

Some sort of a fungus. I've had shit sorta like that in my yard but not that big. Most of the time fungus appears when you've had a lot of rain.....I don't know????? Don't think it came out of your garden though.:yep:

Fungus/mushroom family. I had a yard full of these 2 years ago when I lived in L.A. Came up after a warm rain.

We have those and a host of other things all over our neighborhood because of all the rain we've had this year. They're pretty creepy looking things. :(

Even in drought ridden West Texas I got some of those deals...

Been seeding a new lawn in for a month now, and they showed up.

Some of the less tall ones come up from decaying roots under the ground.
