Last nights match was largely uneventful in the first half other than the early goal from georgia. Doyle scored a goal but it wasn't counted as offside was cited.
Second half was more lively, the finnish referee granted a penalty to Ireland after a non-existent hand ball and Keane scored easily. The georgian team scored another goal later on but this was not counted as a player was offside. Damien Duff seems to be back in good form. Keane later scored another goal with a header/ shoulder and the game was won by Ireland.
As an Irish man I'm glad we got the points for winning the match but still wish we had earned it without the discrepancy by the referee. We're now on the top of our group with Italy and a game against Bulgaria to look forward to:D
