Man it's weird how i'm like counting down the hours left to tonight's radio show yet I can't say the same about another radio show about to debut on another website.
It would be like replacing Letterman by Charles Barkley. He might be entertaining for the first show but what about the following week? You don't replace Dave and John by 2 former athletes regardless of how great they were onstage.

Yea.. first they said it would be today.. then suddenly last minute they post it's going to be next week.. and they still don't have any significant topics or guests..
No offense.. but that show won't last.. Shawn and Flex just won't be as personable as Dave and John are. No matter what, I just can't get over how "fake" Flex and Shawn usually are when they did the radio show or the MD videos.. just this "acting" "sauve" feel to it.. nothing really genuine. Hard to explain it.. some of you guys might know what I mean. It's like they are reading scripts.. nothing from the heart or anythingh that might "tarnish" their preceived image.

Okay.... It was our first show. A few problems... but we will sort them out. remember it's only been a week and we have up the social network, the main site, forums, and the show. That's a lot of work for out little army. Pod cast is coming....... probably by the morning you will be able to down load the show. We're working again all night to get it done. A long with a few other things that need fixing,
As far as me moving? well, you just never know............

I have a confession to make.... maybe some of you others "we're" in the same boat.
After the firing.. I for one had let go of John and Dave from MD and decided I'd see what was gonna happen.. maybe even stick with them.. shameful.
Today I have been RE-BORN!!! This is truly the best news that could have come from this.. not more BS from S.B. and finally the best part of MD is back. All we need now is good videos, coverage, and some pros..

What kind of headaches... We use Skype for OFF TOPIC and it sounds excellent... almost like I am in the studio with Carl. Maybe you should ask Carl for some tips. Voice quality wise a land line is barely acceptable... But yeah, if John moves to New York Skype won't even be an issue!

Great premiere guys! The sound clarity is much better. I was so dissapointed when your radio spots were replaced by Flex and Shawn so I am glad that the maddness will continue here.
One guest suggestion. Since the title is Heavy Muscle Radio, shouldn't one of the first guests be the heaviest of them all. Greg Kovacs? I really enjoyed the past radio with him and would like to hear more from him.

What kind of headaches... We use Skype for OFF TOPIC and it sounds excellent... almost like I am in the studio with Carl. Maybe you should ask Carl for some tips. Voice quality wise a land line is barely acceptable... But yeah, if John moves to New York Skype won't even be an issue!
It's not "barley acceptable". You're the only one complaining about it! Everyone else accepts it!
We are not using SKYPE, period. It's a very cheap-sounding alternative to having John in studio, and there are other methods that are far superior that if Carl wants my consultation with, I'll be more than glad to help improve your sound during my spare time.
Then again, we all agree that John would be best in studio. So John, when are you making the big move to NY? :)

I listened to the show this morning and while you can tell John is on a phone, his voice was perfectly clear...as clear as it ever was.

The new radio show was absolutely great!!! Gotta say, the sound quality is much better than it use to be before. It's really great to hear you, guys, again and so soon!!! Feels like I have my best friends back!!! It's nice to hear Collette on the radio, I think she will do very good as a radio host. The bottom line of all this story - it's not the name of the company what matters but the names in the company!!! And someone just lost the best of them... Keep doing a great job, John and Dave and the company!!!

Sounds so good I downloaded it TWICE !
We're all loving that 96Kbps bit rate AND it's in stereo, PBO is mono at 48Kbps.
Hey JOHN, are you going to be streaming the show from your own website ?
The only problem with going for a higher bitrate is the bandwidth required means less live listeners can connect, unless you pay more. Not a problem really as a high proportion of us wait for the download.

Loved it! It was a smooth transition from the old show. Straight to the point, John didnt mince his words and gave the fans what they needed to hear. Thought the Blechman impressions were funny, i've never heard him speak, but I can imagine him having a creepy little voice like that! Sounds like theres so much more to look forward to, Dave wanted to keep us hanging on! Well done guys!
