Hey guys my name is Kevin Schosek I am 22 years old and will be competing in just under 18 weeks at the NPC Rochester Bodybuilding Championships as a middleweight, aiming to get my qualification and then hit the 2013 Jr. Nats as a light-heavyweight. Here is a video of me 2 days ago taken at night...I just want some honest criticism..no snappy remarks about the pants on the ground, comb-over haircut, or whatever else could be made fun of in the video haha. I'll also post the 10-day split I've been using lately and will continue to do so for a few weeks.

Is the vid right, 184?

good starting point for 18 weeks out but do not go light heavy at JR Nats, get down to middles and with you being 184 now anyways I think even if you recomped (grew into the show) and came in at 184 shredded youd still give up to much size for that level at light heavy.

Id work on more adductor thickness to the legs, fuller tris and more back width to overcome a more squat torso. More mid back thickness too.

But overall good physique especially at 22.

Good Luck

and yeah the vid is right 184 lbs at 5' 7" so I plan to be a middleweight in march/april and I was hoping to bulk up for over a year and come down to the lightheavies in late 2013 at a jr. level national show but I get what youre saying about giving up too much size..those LHW's are nooo joke

Oh ok i misread i thought you were going to do this first show then qualify and do JR Nats in 2012. I was just thinking there is no way to be over 190 if this is where you are. But hey you are young so in a year, I put no caps on guys like you. Enjoy the ride see where you are in 2013.

Thanks Tammy, I do recall seeing you every year at the Buffalo and Rochester since 09, maybe even in 2008 when I first competed in the Mr. Buffalo. One of these years I'll introduce myself!
