My goal for 2012 is to break the over 50 220lb class record recently set in the Dead Lift. The National meet is set for April. That gives me 13 weeks or so to add about 45lbs to my max. Then in the same month compete in the local show as a Master (over 40).

I have been following your log and the lifts are very impressive!

Natl sanctioned meet is in April.

There are 2 records that I have seen but I dont think they have been updated
The over 50 220lb class USA record is 677.75lbs
The over 50 220lb class World record is listed @ 650lbs

There is a guy over at IM that says he recently set the world record @ 675 but I have not seen that posted So I think I would be save to say I need to pull more than 678. I have succesfully pulled 635 so far. Last night was my first attempt at 680lbs. I missed it miserably but I def was not ready for that lift. Next week I will attempt 645-650.

1. Being 210 by July ripped to freakin shreds. Up a net 23 pounds from my miserable placing this year in Pitt. 208 this morning.
2. Use acceptable skin color so I wont be be silently DQed like this year.
3. My teeth are done :) and I have an amazing toothy smile which I will use.
4. Even my hair which I have little will be more appropriate color. I will not be recognised.
5. My pecs are on the way back. Look out! Despite my ruptured left pec....they WILL be best on stage.
6. Have the best torso bar none. This years little dude winner only had abs...nothing else but they carried him to victory.

7. I WILL MAKE EVERY ONE ELSE ON STAGE LOOK LIKE STICK LEG REFUGES FROM A WWll GERMAN CAMP. :p
