thanks! that was my first meet ever- and i found out many things that needed to be changed/improved. i have a right person(Adam Hires) programming my prep now so i should do a lot better come spring time.

My friend wants me to do a meet march 10. I can probably hit 1300 at 198 raw if I'm lucky, not sure if I'm gonna do it yet though.

Do it man! There's a first time for everything.. Depending on the organization you'd compete in 198 is a tough class! SPF #1 raw total in the country is 1655lbs. 1300 is somewhere around #40th I think 198/242 are toughest classes... Good Luck if you do it!

Yea I'd just be doing it for fun if I decide to do it. It's like being s light heavy, worst class to compete in lol.

Besides the actual deadlift , what movements have you found best to help your deadlift. This is my weak link and I'm focusing on getting it up to par.

Doing different variations of DL! Deficits. 18" DL. Dimel DL. And recently I started to incorporate sumo pulls-stiff leg and reg but sumo stance! Reverse hyper is a good thing to incorporate in your program. Also incorporating chains and bands while deadlifting.. Those are main things.. Hope this helps

Damn impressive. Then again, that is a compliment from a guy with shitty squat and deadlift form... but, then again, that means i appreciate it that much more! LOL
