Most of my waffle/pancake recipes are made from flour or pancake mixes i find in the stores. Mostly organic mixes such as the one on the far right. I also use grinded up oats and egg whites. I mix flour/baking mix's with egg's, baking soda, baking powder, stevia, pumpkin, vanilla extract

Pumpkin Pie is 11g fat, 55g Carbs, 65g protein ... so about 600 kcals for the whole thing and takes about 45 minutes to cook and prep. Not too bad.

Tease!!!! :p

Ask ScoobySnacks (from contest prep section) how my banana bread and brownies are. Everytime I go to visit him he devours 3 small loaves for his PWO meal, and his wife takes the brownies and makes a sludge out of whey protein to top them off. He absolutely loves my stuff and its pretty low calorie/healthy so it really fits their diet/macros for a higher carb/lower fat treat.

As i stated i modify them depending on my current goal (bulking/cutting) none of them are ever identical, but if you want a specific one and tell me if you want it higher carb/fat I can do that. Depending on my current diet if its higher carb or fat i add/subtract different things to make it fit into my macros better.

I would like a Pumpkin Cheesecake recipe that causes me to Orgasm, is low in carbs, high in protein and moderate fats. :p

Go with the pumpkin pie then.

15oz Pumpkin (Libbys)
2 Whole Eggs
6 Egg Whites
1/2 cup splenda or 3 tsp Stevia (will change macros i count splenda in mine 1g per packet)
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
8 oz Fat Free Cream Cheese

Beat Cream Cheese, add in the Pumpkin, add rest of ingrediants in a mixer
Bake 375 for 45 minutes
Chill in fridge

~600 Calories
12g fat
55g Carbs
65g Protein

What i do is freeze it for a bit, make sludge with whey protein (a little bit of water added to Whey/Casein whatever you use and PB to make a thick pudding and top the pie with it) freeze it and it comes out delicious!!!

I been a chef for a very long time and one thing I never mastered was baking pastries. I got a few recipes I can do pretty good but lemon Meringue Pie

One of the things I hated most about baking is that there is so little room for error and or varying from the recipe. Always have to use exact amounts. Always have to sift shit and just all the little paying attention to details that makes it less interesting to me. Great work on the pies man they look awesome.

What could be used instead of the flour or pancake mix? These recipes of yours are quite interesting :)

I was thinking of modifying this recipe to someting like this:

230 g sweet potato
2 eggs (130 g)
6 egg whites (205 g)
̃50 g whey/casein
2-5 g baking powder
2-10 g cinnamon
300 ML milk (1.2 cup)

I was wondering what i should use for "flour", Couldi just add more protein powder?

I don't fully understand how you cook these. What do you do with the sweet potato first? How do you mix it together? How watery should the mix be when its ready for cooking? I'm also thinking about making one of these bread recipes you have here, But without the flour. Do you have any ideas what i can use instead of flour/wheat/carbs. Is the banana really needed?

I calculated the macros of this recipe i modified: 773 Kcal, 95.2 g Protein, 64.4 g Carbohydrates, 13.9 g fat, (26.0 g sugars). Pretty good Post workout meal.

How do you cook it without any oils and stuff? Do you use a frying pan, What kind?

The Pancake is what makes the pancakes rise, hence pancake mix or flour. Subbing it out will make very flat pancakes and really take the texture out of them (making them very hard).

Simply cook the sweet potato, let it cool, and mash it.
Mix Dry ingrediants first, then add in the wet and use a hand mixer/stand up mixer to make your product. Have you never cooked before :).

Yes they are needed for the banana flavor, are you against eating fruit or using flours? if so why may i ask? Carbs are carbs, the body digests and utilized carbs and glucose just if you were to eat rice instead its just a differenct source of carbohydrates, and if you use 50g of carbs from flour in your weekly allotment of carbs you wont die or anything. Moderation!

You dont need oil's use cooking spray in a skillet and flip when they start to bubble a bit.

I would go to YOUTUBE.com and search "cooking protein pancakes" there are plenty of recipes out there.

here is an old one i did:

solution,,, I have a question do you like to bake more then to train? not trying to be rude or come off as a prix it just seems you may have a calling for healthy baked goods, and with all the niche dessert markets popping up I think you could market your self into a successful entrepreneur.

Think about it.

Baking takes very little time, it requires maybe 5-10 minutes or prep and then tossing into the oven. I usually prep all my meals the next day while whatever i am making is in the oven. It takes 2 seconds

Training takes priority over anything.

Did that fill u up? Hard to see the actual size of the dish

its a 12" dish, I am really never full nor am i ever hungry. A lower meal frequency helps with satisfying and keeping hunger at bay. At least for me its personal preference and also supported by research that a lower meal frequency aids blood glucose levels and hunger pains controlling your hunger hormone gherlin.

I know that..lol but does it cook/bake any different ? Like would a casein pancake be a brick vs a light isolate pancake ? Or dosent it make a difference ?

Also how do you make your protein puddings ? Just add powder to a mix or completely from scratch ?

Use a regular whey for pancakes and baking
Casein for sludge
Isolates are a waste of money unless you are lactose intolerant.

They will be very flat and dry.
Why not use Complete Pancake mix, Eggs, Almond/Skim Milk, Baking Powder, Splenda, Cinnamon?
look at some of my recipes and cut them in half.

This will give it more of a fluffy texture compared to oats which wont rise and be very flat/dry.

15oz Pumpkin (Libbys)
2 Whole Eggs
6 Egg Whites
1/2 cup splenda or 3 tsp Stevia (will change macros i count splenda in mine 1g per packet)
1 tbsp cinnamon
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Baking Soda
8 oz Fat Free Cream Cheese

Beat Cream Cheese, add in the Pumpkin, add rest of ingrediants in a mixer
Bake 375 for 45 minutes
Chill in fridge

~600 Calories
12g fat
55g Carbs
65g Protein

What i do is freeze it for a bit, make sludge with whey protein (a little bit of water added to Whey/Casein whatever you use and PB to make a thick pudding and top the pie with it) freeze it and it comes out delicious!!!

It changes frequently throughout the prep but right now its 240/100/70 on training days and 240/60/75 on non training days. By the time I add in trace carbs from foods like almond butter I dont even have 100 left so unless I cut the flour way back I couldnt use these. I have used many of Bob's recipes when I have enough carbs though and they are very good and easy to modify to one's macros.

Look at the picture, they were small tins. If you use a larger tin you will need to cook a bit longer to let the middle cook.

Always toothpick the center to check if done.

If not use a wider pan and it will cook easier.

I thought so, I think the last pic I looked at only had one loaf shown, so I just used a normal pan... Lucky for me my wife is a good baker, so it cooked thru in about 35 to 40 mins... Damn tasty too... The small pans would be nice.. depending on the macros, one might be good for my postwork ...

Thanks again Bob for posting the recipes

These will be made again. Absolutely INSANE with the cinnabon cereal used in the recipe. Should work with lower carb stuff like Go Lean as well, but the cinnabon gives the extra cinnamon taste of a cinnamon roll.

Put walden farm syrup on them!

Question on Rice Pudding Bob... The recipe calls for cooked rice to be added to the mix then bake. My question is does it need to be white, brown, instant, regular or does it matter?

Hey man just curious. on some of your recipes when you Baking power, spelnda, baking soda etc. How much do you usually use. Im sure splenda is to taste, but on the other things like the baking powder or flour how much do you use? oh and on the cinnamon roll what kind of pan did you use to bake in for the first half?

Just like 3-5g really, not much just kind of sprinkle it on there. If you want more splenda by all means add more, but remember splenda has calories (carbs).

Baked on a cookie sheet, very thin sheet.

I made a very similar rice pudding for my refeed today (tweaked a couple things) so we will see how it turns out. Many people dont realize just how easy it is to make these recipes. Once you have the base you can work off that and it took me 5 mins if that to mix up and throw in the oven.

With everything

Insert everything into your FITDAY or calorie tracking program because whatever you use may not be 100% identical to what i use and will alter the macros
